You definitely are paying a bit of a premium for maintenance here. But, with that you get a seamless experience of being able to drop your car off in the morning, getting a free Lyft to/from Austin Subaru, and full transparency with that work is being done on your vehicle.

We had to pop in to Austin Subaru to get a flat tire patched before returning home to Louisiana. The whole service team was very nice and helpful - great playroom to occupy our 3 year old while we waited - which wasn't very long given the busy crowd.
Bought two new Subarus from Austin Subaru—worst decision ever. My STI died at 2,000 miles with a parasitic draw they confirmed; my wife’s Outback hit issues at 10,000. They ordered a part, ‘lost’ it for a year, then the rude parts manager told me to come back for another diagnosis—like they couldn’t check their own notes! Staff snapped at me, sales said ‘drive it more,’ and they ghosted me when I showed proof, even telling Subaru of America I’m the issue. CAG’s a rude, incompetent mess—avoid this "dealer".
I test drove a Subaru Crosstrek here in December. I did not end up purchasing a vehicle, but Nick J was very helpful and friendly. He provided us with a lot of information about the Crosstrek models including the different kinds of trims and what they would be best suited for. Overall, this made for a great experience!

Laura Watkins is outstanding. I told her I was really thinking about a new hybrid Honda but I thought I would check with her as she sold us the car my wife currently drives. Her service and knowledge are over the top and you always feel like she has your best interests at the forefront. After going back to look at the Honda again it just felt off. Top notch dealership. Excellent staff. Super clean service bays. A tad pricey,however you get what you pay for. My only gripe is that they charge you for a tire rotation even though they perform a multipoint maintenance inspection that includes checking brakes. Why would you charge extra when the wheel is pulled to check rotors and pads ? Even the service advisor agreed.
Ryan was easy to work with, very friendly, and never made me feel pressure into my purchase. He worked with my time and schedule and helped me get the exact car I was looking for. The rest of the group through the purchase process were fast and explained everything clearly.

We recently purchased a CPO Forrester here. The experience was top notch and the vehicle is precisely what we were looking for. Fuego (real name? not sure.) took us through the process and was candid about the whole deal. There was a wheel bearing issue that became evident a week after the purchase. Fuego had it in, us in a loaner and the vehicle repaired and returned the next day. I will not be buying another car soon. They are expensive. When I do, it will be here.
Wife purchased CrossTrec she loves it. Douglas was our salesman and he was fair and willing to work for her. The only complaint is the trade in was low but other discounts were given.

Edit- since this review Subaru has reached out and fixed the AC in my car. I’m extremely grateful to the Austin Subaru team for helping get this situation fixed. Everyone is friendly and I love the customer service but unfortunately I have spent thousands “fixing” my AC in my 2020 Subaru Outback (purchased here) and it still does not work. Would not recommend for maintenance.

Insurance totaled our car and we had until today to find a new car before we had to turn in our rental. I found this Honda Odyssey that checked all the boxes and came in under budget. The team at Austin Subaru was amazing. Easily the best car buying experience I’ve ever had. Sean Fox was our guy and to say he went above and beyond is an understatement. First, before my visit, I was called and updated that my appointment may run a little later and was updated on the potential time it would take for my service. The staff did a great job explaining the services being performed on the vehicle and answered all of my questions. In addition, the work as completed ahead of schedule. The ONLY reason I am giving them 4 stars is that the dealership has instituted a 3% surcharge when paying with a credit card. This undoubtedly to cover the costs of being on the credit card processors network but I nonetheless resent having to bear that burden for them.

They did a great job and came under the estimate. Advisor was great… but now charging 3% for using a credit card? There is too much padding already happing and most people need to use a credit card to pay a hefty bill. I’m disappointed with this- you are already making a profit on this… is this really next?
Made getting my car fixed seamless. Dealership was open til 7, which worked out since I didn't notice my car was having issues until after work. Got a free Lyft ride back to the house. The next day, I got a video of the multi-point inspection. It was very helpful to be able to visually confirm what needed repair and what didn't. My partner dropped me off and they filled up her tires with air!
