Hire Date 02/17/2023 – Caleb is from Louisiana, and he decided to join the automotive business due to his interest in cars. In his free time, he enjoys staying fit and spending time with his 5 pets – a ferret named Django, 2 dogs named Sweetie and Sam, and 2 guinea pigs named Tinsel and COCO. Caleb’s favorite band is Gorillaz, and his favorite restaurant is Tony C’s. Caleb and his family have visited Disney World numerous times, and they are his favorite vacations to take. In the future, he hopes to travel to Japan so he can see the Cherry Blossom trees in bloom. Caleb’s hero is definitely his father because of his hard work and amazing advice. Hire Date 03/04/2024 – Travis is originally from Santa Barbara, CA. He’s been in the automotive industry for 22 years and counting! He’s gone through many different positions in the industry before finding his way here. As Travis likes to say, he didn’t choose the automotive industry, the industry chose him. He has also spent his life enjoying music, and his favorite venue for enjoying that music is the Santa Barbara Bowl. When it comes to sports, Travis is a lifelong Steelers fan. As for travel, his best vacation was a trip to Europe with his wife. They visited England and many parts of France and got to meet lots of family!

Growing up, one of his favorite hobbies was working on cars with his dad, so he figured it’d only make sense to make a career out of it! Hire Date 02/06/2024 – Outside of work, Angel enjoys skateboarding and has recently gotten into bouldering in the climbing gyms around Austin. He also loves playing video games, and while he’s currently playing a lot of Fortnite on the Xbox One, his favorite game is probably Left 4 Dead on the Xbox 360. Angel’s favorite trip was going to the beach in Galveston with his friends and visiting the pier. He hopes to one day visit Mexico to see the family he has there, and also Italy for its historical culture. Angel currently has two blue heelers, Max and Enano. He has also had a bunny named Paco and a snake named Buddy!
Hire Date 02/03/2023 – Emma was born and raised in Denton, Texas with her two siblings and moved to San Marcos after high school to attend Texas State University. When she’s not working, Emma enjoys spending time with her golden retriever, Charlie (aka her BFF!). Charlie loves doing everything with Emma like soaking up the sunshine, going on walks, going out to eat, and taking a trip to Starbucks every Saturday for a “pup cup”. Emma also enjoys exploring new parks and trails in Austin, spending a night in the city with her friends, trying new restaurants, and attending as many events as she can at the Moody Center. Emma’s favorite meal is lasagna, especially her mom’s homemade recipe, and her favorite restaurant is Bar Peached because she can enjoy both pork buns and fries. Emma grew up listening to The Chicks and they are her favorite band of all time. She even got to see them perform at ACL Music Festival in 2022! FUN FACT: Emma grew up dancing and playing the violin. While she doesn’t do as much dancing anymore, she can still play some beautiful tunes on the violin!

His favorite restaurant in Austin is Pasta Bar. David has been in the automotive industry for eight years and counting. He started because wanted to turn his hobby into a career. At home, David has one dog named Jaina who is ten years old.
Hire Date 4/6/2015 – Ana graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a Bachelor in Food Service Management, she later transitioned to the Automotive industry in 2015 when she was looking for change and growth. Ana believes in treating people the way you want to be treated and uses her positive attitude and sparkly energy to give clients a world class experience. Ana is bilingual in English and Spanish and is currently teaching her children to be bilingual as well. Ana’s greatest pride was the birth of her first child in July 2016 and the arrival of her twins in December 2018! Two of her favorite Holidays are Halloween and Christmas. Who doesn’t love dressing up in cool costumes and decorating! Every year Ana makes sure she does not miss the trail of lights held in December in Austin, TX. Despite his love of BBQ, he’d still say his favorite food is pizza because of all the different possible combinations. Hire Date 1/4/2022 – Brandon is from Smithville, TX. After living part of his life in Round Rock, Brandon decided he missed his country roots and decided to move back. Away from work, Brandon enjoys working on cars, riding four wheelers, and fishing out of the creek that runs through his property. Brandon is a family man who prefers to spend as much time with his family as possible. He especially looks forward to spending every Sunday together for good food, laid-back fun, and great people. While he loves living in Austin, he’ll always stick to his roots when it comes to sports, as he is a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Texas Rangers. Trey’s favorite restaurant is Raising Cane’s and his go-to order is the box combo, substitute coleslaw for extra sauce, butter on both sides of the bread, and an ice-cold sweet tea. At home, Trey has a shepherd mix named Chester and his favorite movie is The Prestige.

Hire Date 02/20/2023 – Rita was born in Dallas, Texas, and raised in Carrollton, Texas. She always had her eyes set on building a career in the automotive industry and she is excited about this opportunity with CAG! She has been doing photography for 6 years, and in her free time, she enjoys taking pictures for her small photography business. This includes family pictures, portraits, and even car photography. Rita enjoys taking photos of any occasion and building cars with her dad. Her very first car was a 1988 Toyota MK3 Supra that she was able to build and restore with her dad’s help, and he also taught her how to drive a manual. When it comes to food, Rita enjoys trying out new places to eat! She loves sushi, but nothing beats a home-cooked meal by the best cook in the world – her mom. Rita’s favorite place to travel to is southern Oklahoma, and she enjoys visiting their state parks and going on hikes among the pine trees. Of all the restaurants in Austin, Caleb’s go-to place to get a bite to eat would have to be Terry Black’s! One day, he would love to travel to Switzerland to experience the European architecture and beautiful landscapes. Hire Date 12/1/2020 – Alex is an Austin native and he plans to stay here forever. His favorite things to do in the city include taking in the scenery, enjoying the diversity and the foods, hanging out with his family, fishing at the lakes, ponds/creeks, and attending live music events. Alex is also very into the car scene and he enjoys spending some of his free time out skateboarding on the streets and skateparks. Someday, when he retires, Alex plans to travel to many countries in Europe, Japan, and Korea. He’s intrigued by the land and cityscapes, and ample historical events tied to the areas, and can’t wait to experience the cultures first-hand. Plus, he can’t wait to try the food!
Hire Date 07/11/2022 – Ian was born in Tacoma, Washington, and raised in Leavenworth, Kansas. He stumbled into the automotive business in 2021 after finding issues in his own cars and figuring out how to fix them. This provided Ian with a ton of knowledge, and along the way, he realized how much he enjoys fixing problems in vehicles and figuring out how to prevent them from occurring in the future. Fast forward to now, Ian is thrilled to be making a career out of his skills at Austin Subaru! His favorite thing about Austin, Texas would have to be how large it is compared to his hometown, and that there is always something to see and do. In his free time, Ian enjoys building model cars, playing bass guitar, welding, fabricating, playing racing games (preferably Gran Turismo 7 on the PS4), and finding old Subarus on Craigslist. Ian says the Uptown Theatre in Kansas City, Missouri is the best music venue out there, and he is a huge fan of Rudy’s BBQ. If Ian could invite anyone to dinner, he would choose Colin McRae, and his favorite song is Ribs by Lorde. When it comes to sports, Ian roots for the Aggies Football team! Jacki now has 3 sons who keep her life very interesting and extremely busy, but she wouldn’t have it any other way! Hire Date 2/19/2021 – Dan Boone is a third-generation auto industry professional. He is the son of a former Houston car dealer who handled many different makes from the late ’60s to the mid-’90s. Dan has worked full-time in the auto industry since his graduation from the University of Texas in 1985. He has experience in every automotive department and even spent some time with a manufacturer, too. Dan originally joined the CAG team in April of 2004, which gave him the opportunity to move back to the Austin area and to be closer to his Longhorns. During the spring and summer, Dan can often be found at Disch-Faulk field supporting the home team! Dan’s primary goal is customer satisfaction, stating, ‘My job is making my customers happy.’ Dan has worked with many lenders over the years and has developed the relationships and the expertise to help make his customer’s dreams a reality.

Hire Date 6/28/1993 – Jennifer was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, but it wasn’t long until she moved to the great state of Texas! She moved to the Austin area her freshman year of high school in her glory days where she was an undercover basketball star. She now resides in Pflugerville, Texas with her husband Keith, daughter Briana, son Keanu and her two interesting cats. In her spare time, she likes to cook and spend time with family. She also likes daydreaming about John Travolta, and one day meeting John Bon Jovi. She loves Italian food and hopes to one day travel to Italy. His favorite musician is the local blues guitarist Monte Montgomery. For Keith, the automotive industry runs in the blood. There are many mechanics in his family and he’s been in the industry for over 30 years! If he could invite anyone to dinner, he’d invite Elvis because Keith has many questions he needs answered. Hire Date 5/2/2022 – Before moving to Austin, Joseph spent his whole life living in Hawaii and California. While he is new to the area, he is very excited to be in Texas for this next chapter of his life! In his spare time, Joseph enjoys all outdoor activities, discovering and trying new restaurants, going to the movies, and traveling to new places with his longtime girlfriend and their two Pomeranians, Grizzly and Milo! Hire Date 7/8/2019 – Sherry was born in Houston and later spent 21 years out in Big Spring, the “Crossroads of West Texas”. For nearly 30 years she’s been doing title work and accounting. When she’s not working, Sherry likes to spend time with her family, which includes 3 kids, all married, and 7 grandkids. She also likes to play mind games, like puzzles and word puzzles, and watch sports–especially if it’s the Astros, Cowboys, or pro golfers, Tiger and Jason Day. Sherry is also a huge animal person. She currently has Ellie, a Cavachon (a mix of Cavalier King Charles spaniel and Bichon frise). Sherry suspects that Ellie may have more spaniel in her mix, as she’s an extremely playful and energetic little dog!

She started working for the Continental Automotive Group at the age of 17 as a receptionist where she met her husband, Andrew Burrow. Hire Date 10/24/2011 – Steve Carter was born in Kings Lynn, United Kingdom and describes himself as an Army brat. Steve moved to Austin in 1979 from Baltimore for music and his dream came true! In his spare time, he enjoys playing music and being with his wife, Mary, and two kids, Graham and Mina. If he could meet anyone, dead or alive, that person would be Julius Caesar. If he was on a deserted island the five albums he would have for entertainment would be: “Pet Sounds” by The Beach Boys, “The Band” by The Band, “Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” by The Beatles, Frank Sinatra “Live,” and his solo CD. Movies are a passion of Jacob’s, and he says The Grand Budapest Hotel is an amazing movie. Wes Anderson is one of his favorite directors and, fun fact, he went to UT Austin! If Jacob could travel anywhere, he would go to New Zealand because the landscape is so unique and he would love to experience it in person. In his free time, Chazz likes to play soccer – both in real life and on the PC, where he plays EAFC24. In 2021, Shelby and her brother were able to attend one of the coolest car shows out there, Slammedenuff Gatlinburg in Tennessee, which featured countless fantastically modded vehicles. One day, Shelby plans to travel to Japan during the cherry blossom season to experience the scenery during that time of year, as well as getting to take in some of the culture that she admires first hand. She’s passionate about many things that originated in Japan, so she’s looking forward to visiting a lot of places that are related to her interests, and that are only in Japan! FUN FACT: Shelby also has a leopard gecko named Navi, and back in Ohio, she has a sweet husky named Kodiak.

He grew up in a small town in Guerrero, Mexico, and has lived in Austin for more than 20 years with his wife and three children. Jose’s favorite vacation was when he and his family went to Disney World. Jose enjoys going to church on Sunday, playing volleyball and soccer, and watching the Mexican national team games.

He’s conquered a lot internally over the span of 2020 and is thankful to be able to see himself as his own hero these days. Nio never tires of eating meals like mac & cheese and salmon, listening to Kendrick Lamar, and playing Apex Legends on PS4. He wants to travel to Seattle one day, and believes that the ’08 Phoenix Suns were the best of the best when it comes down to sports teams. Hire Date 6/29/1992 – Debbie was born and raised in Texas, and came to Austin in 1984. Debbie has been in the car business since 85′ and is grateful to have been with CAG since 92′. She loves getting to travel around and visit her son, who is a Master Sergeant in the US Airforce. He has been stationed in Germany, Italy, Hawaii, Guam, and Korea, so she has had some great trips while visiting him! Debbie enjoys all of the time she gets to spend with her 5 grandkids, and has very happy memories of getting to watch her oldest grandson play baseball and watch him and his teammates grow up together. The one thing she is looking forward to more than anything, even more than her own retirement, is the retirement of her son from the Airforce, so that he can move back home.
Hire Date 03/12/2024 – In Michael’s free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with family. Some of the things they like doing together are hiking, camping, overlanding, fishing, and hunting. On top of that, Michael loves to travel. The best trip he’s been on was to Oaxaca, Mexico with his wife and friends. They had a great time eating the local cuisine, exploring historical sites, shopping in lively markets, and meeting wonderful people. He’s looking forward to going back soon! Hire Date 06/03/2024 – Gavin is from a town called Moore in Oklahoma. You may have heard of it before, since it’s infamous for its crazy tornadoes. Gavin has been in the automotive industry for about 5 years now. He joined because he thought it would get him closer to cool cars – and he was right! For fun, Gavin likes riding motorcycles, working on said motorcycles and cars, and doing hands-on projects that help him learn new things! Some of Gavin’s fondest vacation memories are snowboarding trips with his friends. They usually go to Colorado and it’s always the most fun! Gavin’s not a crazy gamer, but he says PC gaming is hands down the way to go. He shamelessly plays a lot of Call of Duty.
Hire Date 05/20/2024 – Chris moved to Austin back in 1981 when he was just 6 years old! His favorite thing about Austin is the lakes and wakeboarding on them in the summer time. When he’s not working, Chris enjoys spending time in the pool with his daughter, Kalliope, his wife, Karina, and their dog, Bella. The best vacation Chris has been on was to Roatán, Honduras, where he and his wife got married. They got to fire a pirate cannon together! When it comes to sports, Chris roots for the Dallas Cowboys. Hire Date 01/05/2023 – Tony is originally from Columbus, Mississippi. While this is the first time he’s worked at a dealership, Tony used to work as an automotive tech in Florida. The best place he has traveled to is Albuquerque, New Mexico, and his favorite cuisines are Chinese and Mexican food. Tony is a man of many interests. When he’s not busy working, Tony loves to DJ. His favorite DJs to listen to are Dom Dolla and Mau P. He also likes to work on cars, play video games on the PS5 and PC, go for hikes, travel, and swim! If he could travel anywhere, he would go to the Philippines to experience the nature and the people. Tony tends to keep to himself, but he likes spending time with his Pomeranian named Sweet Pea.

Hire Date 4/15/2010 – Randy started his Continental Automotive Group career at Jaguar in 1990. After they sold that dealership, he moved over to First Texas Honda. Only 14 and a half short years later Randy decided to try other things, but after 5 years away, couldn’t resist coming back to our Austin Subaru location. He has spent most of his life as a tech, and loves fast cars. Mustangs have always won his heart, along with shooting and spending lots of time on his tractor out at the farm! Yoli and her husband, Miguel, enjoy cuddling up with the family and watching movies at home, trying new foods together, joy riding in their “la fea” ’97 Subaru Impreza 2.5, and doing anything that gets their adrenaline up! In fact, Yoli has a fear of the water, but she also really loves to canoe and kayak! She and her husband are both car enthusiasts, especially Subaru lovers, and they own 5 cars–4 Subarus, and 1 odd-man-out American make. She’s always been interested in cars and says that the older, more simple cars with quaint interiors hold a special place in her heart. Some of Yoli’s biggest passions in life are budgeting and crunching numbers to save for her dream home, doing her best to make sure that her family is a zero food waste household, and producing the least amount of trash-waste possible by recycling as much as they possibly can. Getting his first car is what pushed him in the direction of auto repair, because he didn’t like the idea of not knowing what was happening under the hood. John is passionate about live music, so it’s hard for him to pick a favorite artist or venue. What he enjoys about the music scene is the atmosphere and the feeling that you’re part of the experience, which he believes you can find at any concert you attend. If he were going to plan a trip anywhere, his first choice would be Colorado. He’s made many family trips there and he loves being on the road in one of Colorado’s many scenic areas. Hire Date 7/1/2019 – Diana is from San Diego and she enjoys spending time with her family and her son. Family is number one in her life, and Diana always looked up to her mom. She taught Diana the importance of life and that you can achieve anything that you put your mind to, and the only way to not reach those goals is to not try. She believes in never giving up on your hopes and dreams! One day, Diana would love to go to both England and Ireland. They are both places that her mom had wanted to travel to, and Diana decided that she will go to honor her mom’s memory. Being newer to Austin, Diana has found that the atmosphere and the friendly people here are perfect for her and her family. She loves to go to Barton Springs and that there is so much for her to do with her son, from visiting museums to spending the day at Lake Travis. Hire Date 4/8/2020 – Kai is originally from Hong Kong, China, but has lived here the longest! Having been around Austin since the mid 90s, he’s proud to know his way around the city. Kai loves Subarus and personally owns a WRX, so making the jump to the automotive world was a breeze. When he’s not working, Kai enjoys playing FPS and flight simulator games on his computer, trekking around the courses to play disc golf, listening to EDM music, getting Pho and other soup/noodle dishes around town, and hanging out with buddies from his Subaru club & doing “car things” together. During his junior year of high school, Kai and his family vacationed in the Caribbean via cruise from Miami, and next, he hopes to visit the breathtaking scenery of the mountains in Europe. Kai is inspired by the first man to fly faster than the speed of sound: Chuck Yeager, and his dream job from childhood was to become a fighter pilot. He’s still quite the military aviation fanatic! This is her first time in the automotive industry, and she’s happy to be learning and having first-hand experience with automotive filmmaking. Outside work, Aline enjoys hanging out with family and friends, singing at karaoke nights, being outdoors, traveling, and playing with Lylla, her Rottweiler puppy mix whom she adopted from APA! Yolanda previously worked in the automotive industry for 10 years, and since she’s naturally a people-person, she loved being around customers. When she moved to Austin and saw the opportunity to get back into the industry here at CAG, she couldn’t pass it up! Yolanda has a passion for travel, and her all-time favorite vacation was a solo trip to Puerto Rico. Traveling alone allowed her to make her own schedule, make new friends, and learn a lot about herself! She says Puerto Rico is a truly magical place. In the future, Yolanda would love to visit Switzerland, because it looks beautiful and she’s heard great things about the country! If Yolanda could invite anyone to dinner, she would invite her grandpa. He passed away when she was little, but the memories she has with him were wonderful. He was so much fun and so funny, and she would love to hear his laugh one more time.
Hire Date 7/22/2019 -Brice is a Texas guy who was born in New Braunfels and raised in Schertz. Now, Brice, his 2 daughters, and their spunky mutts are looking forward to getting to know Austin. Brice has been a Subaru technician since 2010 and is happy to be on the team here now. When he’s not working, Brice enjoys freshwater fishing in local rivers, and every now and then, he’ll make a trip to fish at the coast. One day Brice would like to go do some Florida-fishing and catch a few Florida native fish that are on his bucket list.
Hire Date 5/26/2016 – Cassandra started out as a receptionist for the company but always had one eye on the Marketing department. She has always loved to be creative and enjoyed showcasing her talents in drawing, sketching, and designing. When given the opportunity, she would volunteer for anything involving Macho Marketing to get her name out there. After two years of working for CAG, a position in the Marketing department opened up. They hired her on as a graphic designer, and after doing that for a number of years, she worked her way up to being Senior Design Strategist!
Hire Date 02/07/2024 – Trey is originally from Austin, Texas. In his free time, he likes to play basketball, play video games on his PC, and watch movies. His favorite movie is Jaws and his favorite video game is Valorant. When it comes to football, Trey roots for the Chicago Bears!

In his free time, Brandon powerlifts, and it’s what he has the most fun doing! When he’s not doing that, you might find Brandon watching his favorite movie, A Bronx Tale. At home, Brandon has a frenchie named Bane.
Hire Date 1/19/2022 – Dorian is from Honolulu, Hawaii. His favorite thing about Austin is the music and performing arts scene (he says the concerts at Stubb’s BBQ have a great vibe!). Dorian has been working in the automotive industry for about 20 years and has made countless friends and connections with people working in this business. He is very excited to build new relationships at Austin Subaru! Outside of work, Dorian loves hiking, exploring nature, attending live music events, pro wrestling, playing Grand Theft Auto on the PlayStation, and checking out new restaurants. He is definitely a foodie and an absolute sucker for chicken wings and tacos! Dorian’s most memorable vacation he’s been on thus far was when he went to Japan, but he would love to take a month-long trip to Europe one day to fully experience the different countries and cultures there. Little Shop of Horrors is Dorian’s movie of choice, and his favorite song is Africa by TOTO. At home, Dorian has two miniature schnauzers named Yowza and Mustachio, a mother and son duo! Hire Date 8/17/2020 – Myra is from McAllen, Texas. She has been in the automotive world for nearly ten years and started off working at the DMV. Anytime she’s not working, you can find Myra painting, listening to music, cheering for the Dallas Cowboys, spending time outdoors, planning her dream vacation to Hawaii/or any island, and hanging out with her fiancé and their dogs–3 chihuahuas and 1 pitbull. (Myra also became the grandma to three chihuahua puppies in 2021!) Myra’s grandmother is her hero and she is thankful to have a very close relationship wit her. As of 2021, Myra is excited to welcome her first child soon and is looking forward to motherhood.
Hire Date 09/13/2023 – Mary is from Floresville, Texas, and she enjoys quilting and crocheting in her free time. When it comes to music, her favorite bands are The Strokes, Vampire Weekend, and Grateful Dead. If she could invite anyone to dinner, Mary would choose Jake Longstreth, a talented painter, musician, and radio personality. At home, Mary has a rat terrier/Schnauzer mix named Charlie!
Hire Date 07/22/2024 – Corbin has worked in the automotive industry for over 5 years now, and he actually fell into it accidentally. What started as “just a job” turned into one of his biggest passions, and being in automotive feels like it was meant to be. Corbin’s favorite thing about Austin is the nature aspect of the city. He loves how easy it is to go hiking, swimming, or even kayaking. The blend of nature in the city is fantastic! Corbin’s favorite restaurant is Freiheit, a super old burger joint built in the 1800s, in New Braunfels. They have outside seating, live music, and an incredible atmosphere. Corbin’s favorite musical artist is Menomena. They don’t make music anymore, but Corbin thinks the 4 albums they made are perfect front to back. “Anyone who listens to them will come away impressed.” At home, Corbin has two pets, a blue heeler mix named Marco and an orange striped cat named Luck. Marco is very sweet and loves to meet new people, and Luck loves causing trouble.
Hire Date 8/29/2016 – Dustin was born in San Antonio and lived in Pflugerville and Boerne growing up. He moved to Austin in 2016. In his spare time, he likes playing challenging or competitive video games and puzzles, and watching TV series online with his friends. He likes to tell people that his favorite movie is Spiderman 3, mainly because of the reaction it gets from his friend and fellow IT person, Walker. His favorite grocery aisle is… not. It’s Amazon Prime. One day, he would like to visit Germany and the Netherlands to enjoy the scenery.
Hire Date 06/03/2024 – Ben was born and raised in Bastrop, TX and he moved to Austin in 2009. In his free time, Ben likes to go on long kayak/camping trips down his favorite Texas rivers. However, the best trip he’s been on was a Summer trip to Italy with his whole family, including his 4 year old daughter, to visit relatives in Sicily. Ben’s favorite thing about Austin is all the natural swimming holes around town. At home, he has one dog, a mini-aussie named Camper.
Hire Date 05/22/2023 – Alyssa is a native Austinite and she loves all of the friendly vibes here. When she’s not busy working, she enjoys visiting succulent gardens, bowling, playing on the Nintendo Switch, and playing with her two dogs, a chewinnie named Braun and a pitbull named Bud. Citizen Queen and Doja Cat are Alyssa’s favorite artists, and she will tell you that nowhere beats Moody Center for some fantastic concerts. When it comes to food, carne guisada is Alyssa’s top pick meal, and the best place she has traveled to thus far is Colorado. Next on her list is Hawaii so she can experience the love and warmth of the beautiful scenery! Alyssa’s hero is her dad because he has always taught her the importance of being open-minded and living life to the fullest, no matter what obstacles may stand in the way. Hire Date 7/6/2015 – Chelsea is a breakfast loving lady from Childress, Texas. Seriously, anything breakfast related, and you’re good in her book! Chelsea has been in the automotive industry since 2015 and got her footings right here with Austin Subaru. Having previously worked in retail, she knew she wanted something fast paced and she’s continually grateful that she found and fell in love with CAG. When she’s not working, Chelsea loves to take her two rescue pups (Bandit a long haired Dachshund and Bear the Yorkie) out hiking, enjoying a good cup of tea while soaking up the sun, getting crafty, going fishing, and watching fishing shows like River Monsters and Deadliest Catch. If she could travel anywhere, she would like to visit the Cape Town area of South Africa. A sucker for great scenery, Chelsea’d love to explore all over from safaris to wine country to beautiful beaches. In Austin, Chelsea could rave about so many things, but her favorite has to be that even while the city is forever expanding, it still has an easy-going, small town vibe–plus, great coffee and food! Inspired most by her Marine-Medal-of-Honor grandpa–lovingly dubbed, Papaw Thomas–she’s taken one of his sayings to heart: “Don’t be anyone’s dancin’ chicken,” meaning to only make decisions that feel right and true to you. If she could have dinner with anyone, Chelsea would choose Nicole Lapin, her favorite author. All of Lapin’s books are about empowering women to take control of their life, wealth, and career. Chelsea also makes sure to catch her podcasts and will tell you that her energy and confidence is totally infectious! In his free time, he enjoys working out at the gym, going on hikes, fishing, and playing video games. Daniel’s favorite movie is The Avengers. At home, he has 3 German Shepherds: Lola, Cheery, and Peggy.
Hire Date 4/18/2022 – Lizet comes to us from Reno, Nevada, and she has been working in the automotive industry for the past 11 years! Her favorite thing about Austin, Texas would have to be the selection of good restaurants and live music scene. She loves doing anything outdoors, especially if a beautiful view is included, and her favorite style of cuisine would have to be Thai. When it comes to good music, Lizet’s favorite artists are undoubtedly Pink Floyd, The Doors, and Luke Combs. Lizet’s favorite vacation thus far was when she stayed in a treehouse in Tulum, Mexico, but she would one day love to visit Greece and Italy to experience the history and archaeology. When asked who her hero is, Lizet said her parents because of how hard-working, kind, and inspiring they are.

When she’s not working, she loves to read, do makeup, listen to horror podcasts while playing the Sims 4, and play video games like Zelda, Splatoon 2, and Pokémon. In Austin, she would recommend Kerbey Lane to anyone in the area and enjoys the paddleboarding and kayaking available near Zilker. Tiffani is always down to catch an alternative or hardcore rock music concert at Come and Take It Live. She’s also been out to Pennsylvania to visit family and ending up loving it there. Plus, she got to go hiking in part of the Appalachians! One day, Tiffani plans to go to Japan for the culture she loves that she’s seen through watching Japanese dramas and anime. Tiffani has five pets! Two dogs; Koda and Riley, and 3 cats; Sheba, Cinder, and Dexter.
Hire Date 10/24/2019 – Axel is from Naucalpan de Juarez, Mexico and has been a part of the automotive industry since 2019. Learning to take care and maintain his own car was the catalyst that got Axel into the idea of making a career for himself in the automotive world. When he’s not working, Axel likes to spend his free time watching automotive content and anime. His favorite movie is The Crow with Brandon Lee, and in Austin, he would recommend catching a show at Emo’s East. Axel also has a young Boxer/Pitbull mix named Nala.
Hire Date 07/01/2024 – Christian is originally from Colorado. In Christian’s free time, he enjoys long runs at Lady Bird Lake and lifting weights in the gym. Health and fitness is a big part of his life, and it’s what makes him happy! However, he’s still always down for a slice of pizza. When it comes to sports, Christian roots for the Dallas Cowboys, and has his fingers crossed for a Super Bowl win in his lifetime. His favorite thing about Austin is how nice everyone is and all the beautiful running trails around town!
Hire Date 4/28/2021 – Homar was born and raised here in Austin, TX. He loves that all of the BBQ he’s ever had here has been amazing. Outside of work, Homar enjoys working on cars, driving around, going to parks, and playing guitar – especially songs by Metallica. His favorite Subaru is easily the 2011 hatchback! One day, Homar would like to see the Roman Colosseum. At home, he likes having a chance to kick back with his pets: two cats, Goose & Butter, and his two dogs, Ripley & Lobo.

Sheri has two wonderful daughters, four adorable granddaughters, 2 grand-dogs, and 1 crazy cat, Fred. If she could live anywhere, it would be along a coastline so that she could relax on the beach with her feet in the sand. Sheri offices out of our flagship store and says her dream car is a convertible. With over 700 employees group-wide now, Sheri’s a busy girl but never too busy to keep our CAG crew cared for; it’s what she does best!

Hire Date 09/24/2024 – Outside of work, Hannah loves going to wineries and discovering new breweries. You might also find her enjoying a concert as she tries to go to at least one a year. Hannah is also on a mission to experience every rooftop bar or lounge in Austin. The best vacations Hannah’s been on so far are the vacations she’s taken with her family. They have family retreats every year! In the future, Hannah dreams of visiting Singapore, Cappadocia, Turkey, and Italy. When it comes to sports, Hannah roots for any team out of Houston. The Astros, Rockets, Texans, she loves them all! At home, Hannah has 4 pets – two dogs and two cats. She has a rottweiler named Beans, a pit bull named Boss, and two orange tabbies named Zach and Cody.
Hire Date 6/30/2021 – Laura is from California. She has three senior Chihuahuas: Lolly, Brigid, and Tuna (pictured). Laura moved to Austin on a whim in 2020 with her Chihuahuas and is ever grateful for that decision.
Hire Date 10/04/12 – Isaac was born in Greenbay, WI, and yes, he is a Packers fan and owner, as are his kids. He has lived in San Diego, Phoenix, Virginia, Philly, D.C., Delaware and Maryland. In the fall of 2004 he met the woman who would become his wife on a campaign trip to Beaumont, TX. After spending the summer of 2005 in Maryland, his wife could no longer stand to be away from the Great State of Texas. That fall, his family moved to her hometown of Beaumont with the intent of coming to Austin in a year for Isaac to pursue graduate studies at UT. Hurricane Rita upped that timetable and the family came to Austin in January 2006. Isaac found that, opposite of what he was told, public transportation here is pretty much non-existent, so he decided to look for work where the cars are. His family is everything to him and he feels blessed to have a wonderful wife, three beautiful children, two rescued dogs (Wubby and BO-C), three rescued cats (Piper, Odamae, and Scampi), and one rabbit who is black, but is named Gray Bunny. Isaac is the only non-native Texan in his family but did get here as soon as he could.

Hire Date 6/10/2020 – Britney was born in Ft. Worth and moved to Austin with her mom when she was 8 years old. Now, grown-up, Britney’s favorite thing about Austin is the fact that there are so many local breweries. She has a ’13 WRX hatchback and the moment she knew she was ready to leave the waitressing business, paired with the proximity of Austin Subaru, Britney knew she was home. She’s also very into drifting and spends a lot of her free time practicing via sim racing on Assetto Corsa, and building her drift car. One day, Britney plans to go to Japan to scope out the car scene and enjoy the rainy skies and the overall vibe of the country. Britney also adopted a pretty cool cat from APA!–who’s name is Tuna. (All thanks to the moment she arrived at Britney’s home, the cat immediately ate all the tuna that had been meant to be saved for sandwiches!)

Hire Date 12/28/2007 – Ashley grew up in Austin and is currently taking classes at ACC. She wants to be a first-grade teacher and have a really big family (she loves kids). The beach is Ashley’s favorite place to vacation, but, even though she loves the water, she thinks that jet skiing is the scariest thing ever. Ashley has never been outside of Texas but would love to travel. Florida is the place that she would most like to visit, and she wants to be in two places at once.

Hire Date 05/28/2024 – Jay was born in San Antonio, TX, but spent a few years in places like Juliet, IL, Athens, GA, and Grand Rapids, MI before ending up here in Austin. He’s been all over! When he’s not working, Jay LOVES to sing! Whether it’s to himself, out loud, during karaoke, wherever he is he loves to sing! Jay’s favorite movie of all time, which is also his comfort movie, is Cars. “Life is a highway!” The first concert he ever went to was at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, TX to see Fall Out Boy, immediately cementing both as his favorite venue and band, respectively. When asked who his hero is, Jay said it’s his twin sister, J’Lynn. If anyone has faced the most adversity and muscled through it, it’s her. She’s extremely strong and Jay’s always had her as someone to look up to.

In her free time, she enjoys going to the movies, shopping, going for walks, and spending time with her husband and family. Elaine also enjoys listening to Christian music, especially her two favorite bands: Town & Country and MercyMe. Elaine has a passion for travel, and would one day like to go to Spain, Italy, and South Korea. At home, Elaine has two dogs that she loves like her own kids: a lab named Hunter and a yorkie named Trixie.
Hire Date 09/14/2022 – Jami comes to us from Iowa and is very excited to be joining as a Graphic Designer for Macho Marketing, CAG’s internal marketing agency! When she has spare time, Jami enjoys painting and keeping up with the Iowa Hawkeyes, her all-time favorite sports team. Jami once vacationed in Montana and says it is the best place she has visited thus far; nothing beats Yellowstone and Glacier National Park! As amazing as that vacation was, Jami hopes to one day venture to Egypt so she can check out the beautiful pyramids.

One of their favorite things to do together is to take their dogs, Lewis the Anatolian Shepherd mix and Riley the Staffordshire Terrier mix, out to go paddling on the lake. I had just gotten sober and was trying to figure out what direction I wanted my life to go. I really like that it was written in 1937 and still so relevant. I feel that it is the base for soooo many books in the self improvement genre. I read it once every couple years for sure.”

Hire Date 2/17/2984 – Joy received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas in 2005. After going on a leaf peeping cruise with her Grandmother Hardeman in the fall of 2005, Joy was hired by CAG and worked in various positions over the next 3 years. In 2012, Joy received her law degree from The University of Texas School of Law. After law school Joy spent 2 years in Washington DC and was rehired by CAG in 2016. Joy enjoys crossword puzzles, an occasional Peloton class, and selling cars to friends. Recently, Joy sold a Ram truck to a friend with the question, “Did you know we have a Ram dealership in Dallas?” Joy looks forward to playing doubles with her twin sister, Genny, on the local tennis circuit where they go by the name “The Twin Towers.” Joy’s brother Will wants her to be a race car driver. Joy and Will compete under the name “Air Hardeman.” Overall, it’s safe to call her the Joy of all trades.
Hire Date 7/18/1981 – William B. is an Austin recreationalist: an avid cyclist, triathlete, competitive skier, and outdoorsman who enjoys all the air, land, and water that Austin has to offer. These activities have made William B. more in tune with local environmental issues, and in his construction and development focus at the Continental Automotive Group, William B. brings with him a strong commitment to preserving Austin’s natural beauty. He is excited about the local expansion of the Subaru brand and thinks that it’s a perfect match for the people of Austin. William B. grew up in west Austin and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
Hire Date 4/1/2020 – Penelope (Poppy) enjoys dancing, laughing, swimming, jumping on the trampoline, playing with her sisters, and being an all-around boss lady. Poppy likes to do whatever Lily is doing and has inspired drinks at the Continental Cafe including the Poppy Peppermint Latte. When not bossing her sisters around, you can usually find her in the Lily Pad playroom.
Hire Date 4/29/22 – Primrose enjoys being doted over and laughing at her older sisters Lily and Penelope’s antics. She’s sweet and sassy and is the happiest baby on the block. She already has several car meetings under her belt and enjoys making the rounds at the dealerships and saying hello to everyone.

Hire Date 2/17/1984 – Genny was born and raised in Austin, and after earning her degree in Finance and Spanish at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, she returned to Austin to work in investment banking. After two years, she decided to join the family business and split her time between several of our dealerships. Genny enjoys spending time with her teddy bear of a husband, their three children James, Margot, and Reese, and their three dogs. You might recognize her, she’s the girl jogging around the neighborhood, pushing a stroller with one hand and holding two dogs with the other. Her favorite things in life are James, Margot, and Reese, who love coming to the dealerships to smile and say “hi!” to everyone.
Hire Date 9/8/2015 – James’ first day on the job was just one week after being born, making him Continental Automotive Group’s youngest employee ever. He’s been voted “Cutest Employee Ever” and get’s his daily dose of caffeine at Austin Subaru’s coffee bar. Now that James has been accepted to preschool, his presence has decreased, but he still attends monthly management meetings to stay up-to-date on dealership operations. He’ll be the one sweeping the floors, pulling parts and detailing cars during his teens. So say hi!
Hire Date 5/22/2017 – Margot weighed only 5 lbs on her first day of work. Like her older brother James, she enjoys greeting customers at Austin Subaru’s coffee bar and cruising around the showroom.

Hire Date 9/13/2021 – Jason is from Spring Branch, Texas. He’s brand new to the automotive world, but he comes with over 10 years of IT experience! Jason enjoys collecting action figures, making unboxing videos for youtube, and finding all kinds of great pasta dishes – spaghetti, lasagna, tortellini… you name it! Jason also likes playing games like Monster Hunter Stories 2 on his Nintendo Switch and is always down to watch any of Luc Besson’s movies. FUN FACT: Jason spent time traveling through China while learning all about the Ming dynasty.
Hire Date 3/31/2021 – Michael is a local guy who went to school in Del Valle. He’s always had a passion for cars and the technology behind them. Michael enjoys spending his free time watching videos about cars, running the boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake, and grabbing coffee from Summermoon everyday. He’d recommend trying out the fish burrito from Cabo Bob’s as well as the crawfish at Shoal Creek Saloon. One day, Michael would like to attend Tomorrowland in Belgium and be able to scratch that goal off of his bucket list. Apart from Belgium, Michael is interested in checking out the pacific northwest, like Washington and Oregon. National Parks, like Yellowstone, and famous lakes, like Lake Tahoe, are also very high on his list. He’s yet to leave Texas, but has the drive to explore!

Hire Date 10/6/2015 – Scott was born in Corpus Christi. He grew up in Spring, TX and moved to Austin in 2004. He’s a huge hockey fan (Go Dallas Stars!!!) and has been playing for about 15 years. He loves music as well, and has been playing drums for 10 years, and guitar for the last couple years. He has a pitbull named Lady (short for Ladybug). He considers himself pretty outgoing and thinks his sense of humor is pretty decent. If he were to visit anywhere, it would be Vancouver, BC. Mystery movies are his favorite genre to watch, and his favorite movie is Alaska. He owns his own Subaru, so he thought Austin Subaru would be the perfect place for him to be.
Hire Date 4/4/2022 – Jonathan comes to us from Corsicana, Texas. His favorite thing about Austin is how much it embraces the music, film, and art scene. While this is his first time working in the automotive industry, he has been working in the IT field for over 8 years! In his free time, Jonathan enjoys backcountry hiking, mountain biking, concerts and spending time with his family. Jonathan says Moody Theater is the best music venue in Austin and dreams of seeing Odesza there. While Austin is known for its great cuisine, Jonathan’s favorite restaurant is The Preachers Son, located in Bentonville, Arkansas. Jonathan and his wife once had the amazing opportunity to spend a week at a private resort called PlayaNix, and he says that is the best vacation he has ever been on. Hire Date 7/7/2021 – Joyce was an Airforce brat who lived all over and most recently moved to Central Texas from Louisiana. Around Austin, Joyce is enraptured by the overall diversity of the city. She’s no stranger to the automotive world and has been enjoying her time in the field since 1988. Outside of work, Joyce enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs, going for bike rides, and planning her next trip to the beach with her family. Some of her favorite memories have been made at the beach with them. At home, Joyce revels in quality time with her two dogs, a Malamute and a mutt, Mavs and Penny.
Hire Date 4/19/2016 – Cynthia has lived in Austin since she was 2 months old. She has one daughter and four grandchildren who all live in Ohio. Her favorite place is Garner State Park. In her free time, she enjoys playing bingo.
Hire Date 6/3/2013 – Eddie moved to Austin in ’89 all thanks to his brother telling him how much he loved it here. Eddie is a huge fan of baseball, and still plays himself! In the last few years, he’s been to At&T Park in San Francisco, and out to Wrigley Field in Chicago, with just a few more stadiums left on his list. He plays Center Field in an adult league in the Austin area, and they often play at local fields like Anderson High School and Huston-Tillotson University. In this league, Eddie also plays against a fellow CAG team member, Garrett Liming. Also at work with Eddie is his son, Greyson, who is a photographer for all of the Subaru inventory. Eddie and his family have 3 adorable and lovable Bulldogs, Ronin, Major Duval, and Sergeant Ruger. They also tend to a huge garden compromised of around 60 variations of roses! When he’s not at work, Eddie enjoys being outdoors and spending his time golfing or kayaking. One day, he’d like to visit the South of France to see the countryside and the learn more about the history.

Hire Date 06/21/2021 – Peyton was born in California, but has spent most of her life in the Austin area. She has been working in the automotive world since 2021, and she loves being part of the Austin Subaru team! In her free time, Peyton enjoys spending time with her family. She is also passionate about traveling and will never pass up the opportunity to visit New Orleans, go on a skiing trip, or hit up an amusement park. Interestingly enough, Peyton worked abroad in Europe for 3 months and notes this to be a very memorable experience. When it comes to food, Peyton absolutely loves a great Curry and pretty much anything with hot sauce! Peyton’s taste in music is as eclectic as she is. She loves hip-hop, techno, and anything by Steve Carter. Peyton doesn’t have any pets of her own, but she loves Rally the Ambassadog, her friend’s cat named Ramona, and any pet that approaches her. Out of all the Subaru models, her top pick is the Outback. FUN FACT: Peyton has lots of fun facts! One of them is that she is double-jointed and can do crazy stuff with her shoulder blades.

Hire Date 9/29/2020 – Vitali is originally from Belarus and lived in California for three years before making his way to Texas. He’s been in the automotive industry as long as he can remember and he finished Technical College and Belorussian State Technical University. Anytime he’s not working, Vitali enjoys hiking, backpacking, and being outdoors in all of the picturesque places nearby. One day, Vitali would like to visit Japan, Australia, and Africa. He also finds some time to play video games on his PS4!

Hire Date 06/01/2022 – Anthony comes to us from Michigan, and he is happy to be living in Austin, Texas for its warm weather! He has always had a passion for cars, which is why he decided to begin working in the automotive industry nearly 12 years ago. In his free time, Anthony loves driving RC cars and listening to music, especially if it’s a song by Migos! When asked about his favorite restaurant and meal, Anthony had to choose the avocado chicken from Bubba’s 33 as his top-pick dish! Anthony once visited Kalahari, the world’s largest indoor waterpark, and says it is the best vacation he has been on thus far. One day, however, Anthony would love to visit the Dominican Republic to experience its rich culture. Hire Date 4/14/2020 – Brian is from Washington, DC, and has been in the automotive world since 2005. Brian is a fan of Japan for not only its cars, but also its culture. When he’s not working, Brian enjoys playing video games like Final Fantasy on his PS4. He’s seen Gladiator too many times, listened to Wet Sand by Red Hot Chili Peppers more than any other song, and he roots for the Washington Redskins! At home, Brian also has a cat named Zelda.
Hire Date 09/10/2024 – Much to her chagrin, Madi spent her life moving every few years. She was originally born in Arizona, and she moved back and forth between there and North Carolina until she was 17 years old, when her family finally settled in Texas. Madi loves it here and, as of right now, plans to stay! In her free time, Madi is a voracious reader. She learned to read before she even started kindergarten and she’s been obsessed ever since. Her favorite series is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas, and her favorite standalone novel is The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. When she’s not reading, Madi also enjoys spending time with friends, trying new coffee shops, and writing. You might also find her playing video games as she’s a self-professed PlayStation girly. Madi likes first-person shooter games, with her favorite being Call of Duty (Black Ops and Modern Warfare, of course). Her comfort game that she’s currently playing for the 11th time is The Last of Us. As for some favorites, Madi’s favorite movie is Interstellar and her all-time favorite band is Twenty One Pilots. She’s been obsessed with them since Vessel, she knows everything about them, and she even has a few tattoos related to them. Her favorite song by them is “Trees.”
Hire Date 11/06/2023 – Taryn comes to us from Midlothian, Texas. When she’s not busy working, she enjoys playing golf with her grandpa and sand volleyball with her friends. In the future, Taryn would love to visit Italy to experience the unique culture and iconic scenery! At home, she has a Chihuahua mix named Stella, aka “Bean”. FUN FACT – Taryn was born on Camp Pendleton, a Military base in California!

He says he his satisfied with everything he has accomplished in life, and when he’s not working, he is spending time with his family. He loves to cook for family and friends, and his favorite food is Sea and Middle Eastern food. In the summer, he likes to travel and explore the world. Hire Date 02/07/2023 – Tyler is from Bastrop, Texas, and his affinity for mechanical engineering inspired him to join the automotive world in 2019. He loves that his job allows him to understand the smaller vehicle details that make them perform the way they are designed. Tyler has been playing guitar for nearly half of his life, and it is still his favorite hobby to this day. He also likes to listen to music, especially songs that are developed from personal experiences. Tyler’s favorite band is Alice in Chains and his favorite song is “The Great Gig in the Sky” by Pink Floyd. When it comes to food, Tyler enjoys crafting his own foods, but there are also a fair amount of local barbeque spots in Austin that he loves. He says there’s nothing better than a well-smoked brisket! Tyler once visited South Padre during the fall season, and it is the best vacation he has been on to date. In the future, he hopes to visit the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore – what’s more exciting than an infinity pool on top of a 55-story building? Tyler’s hero is Captain America because he trusts his own moral compass and is able to see the line between helping when in need vs. following orders when given. As for some more favorites, Tyler’s top-pick movie is Constantine, his favorite video game is Forza Motorsport on the Xbox, and his favorite thing about Austin, Texas is the environment of great food and great music. Hire Date 07/18/2024 – Sean was born and raised here in Austin, TX. When it comes to sports, he roots for the San Antonio Spurs and the Houston Texans! Sean’s hero is his wife, because she’s always willing to do whatever it takes for their family to be successful. In his free time, Sean plays old school Metroidvania games on the Nintendo Switch with his two youngest children, PJ and Levi. Their favorite game is Hollow Knight. They also have 3 pets at home: a miniature schnauzer named Morty, a black cat named Uma Purrman, and a leopard gecko named Leia Sunshine. It’s a full house!
Hire Date 11/15/2021 – Reed is from Connecticut, but the live music culture in Austin, Texas influenced his decision to move here! Working on vehicles has always been a fun hobby for Reed, so he decided to make a career out of it by stepping into the automotive world 3 years ago. Since then, his passion for vehicles has only gotten stronger! When he’s not working, Reed enjoys other outdoor activities such as motorcycle riding and hiking. He’s always down to jam out to some punk or alternative rock music, and his favorite song is Overstepping by Belmont. Reed has a huge amount of respect for medical personnel and considers all of them to be his hero. Unfortunately, at the age of 16, he was involved in a life-threatening accident. If it weren’t for the hard work done by the medical crew, Reed would not be where he is today. For this reason, he is incredibly thankful for their service. At home, Reed has two adorable dogs – an American Staffordshire terrier and a Boston terrier! Vacationing is something Reed loves very much. His favorite vacation spot so far would have to be Amsterdam, Netherlands, but he is always on the lookout for new & exciting places to visit! FUN FACT: If Reed could enjoy dinner with anyone, living or deceased, he would invite Teddy Roosevelt and Jimi Hendrix!
Hire Date 10/21/2014 – Ellen grew up on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, and attended college in sunny Florida. She then made her way to the big state of Texas in 2008! Although moving to Austin was a really happy moment in her life, her happiest is getting to be a mother to her wonderful daughter Isabelle. She enjoys all types of art, seeing live music, and cooking (especially if it is spicy or includes cheese!) She is a dog lover and one day would love to have a puppy as well as travel to Australia, Bali, or India. Hire Date 12/28/2021 – Anthany would say that he’s from a little bit of everywhere, but if he had to choose, outside of Sacramento in Northern California is likely the location he’d say that he comes from. Having been in Austin this time around since 2014, he can easily say that he loves the overall diversity of the city and the fact there’s so much to do here. Outside of work, Anthany is a bit of a homebody who enjoys spending time with his family, playing video games like Call of Duty on his Xbox, and tending to their little zoo! They have two dogs, a rabbit, and a beta fish. Anthany’s goals include becoming a master technician and continuing to grow with the Subaru brand. He loved having his own Subaru STI that was unfortunately wrecked via a hit-and-run, however, he is surely on his way to getting into a newer one! FUN FACT: Anthany’s favorite movies are Step Brothers and Pineapple Express.
Hire Date 1/27/11 – Forrest (previous mentioned above in Austin’s bio) has two cars, an Impreza 2.5RS and a 1982 turbocharged 280Z that he races and attempts to drift (all in due time Forrest, all in due time). His daily driver, the Impreza, is named Scooby, and his race car, the 280Z, is called Snoopy (because it’s black and white). This dear mentee of Austin is excited to learn ‘the ways of drifting.’ He’s heard a lot about Austin and his reputation and is honored to be under his wing. Forrest is a true Subaru fan, he even has the tattoo on his back to prove it. And he is NOT afraid of the color pink! His dream color combination just so happens to be hot pink with black. Forrest is working toward his business degree in order to accomplish his lifelong goal of owning his own performance shop. Forrest is daring, not afraid to try new things, and is better than Austin at everything.
Hire Date 3/16/2007 – Lee has an amazing 24 plus years of experience in the car industry. Originally from Bellaire, Texas, Lee moved up to Austin over ten years ago and is sold on the Central Texas quality of life. He has been married to his wife Victoria for more than 20 years and describes her as “the best looking brunette in town.” Lee, Victoria, and their three children are outdoor people who enjoy floating the river during the summer months. Lee recently started golfing more often but has chosen not to include his handicap in this bio.
Hire Date 07/17/2023 – Vivian moved from Milwaukee to Austin when she was 10 years old and has loved being an Austinite ever since! She’s an avid cyclist and also enjoys creating art in her free time. If you’re looking for a delicious new restaurant to try, Vivian recommends an authentic Vietnamese place called Tan My. At home, she has 3 cats named Katsu, Panko, and Nori. FUN FACT: Vivian graduated from UT Austin!

In her free time, Carmen loves to nap, write horror movie scripts, and listen to music–especially Led Zeppelin. She’s seen both The Shining and Jurassic Park too many times and yet, she’s always down to watch them again. Her favorite thing about Austin is the food scene, and one day, she’d like to travel to Switzerland–or move there to have a farm. At home, Carmen enjoys time spent with her two dogs, Nellie the black pug, and Frankie Joe the Boston terrier. Hire Date 7/1/2015 – Joshua is from Barbados! He’s been in the automotive field since 2015 and his favorite part of the job is that he gets to do something different every day. That’s not a day that goes by where he doesn’t get to learn something new–and Joshua loves expanding his knowledge! Anytime he’s not working, Joshua enjoys cooking meals–especially prime-grade ribeyes, roasted potatoes, and asparagus–for family & friends, rooting for the Texas Longhorns, and watching Formula One races. In fact, if he could invite anyone to dinner, he’d choose Australian F1 driver, Daniel Ricciardo. Someday, he’s also like to watch an F1 race at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps track in Stavelot, Belgium. One of the best vacations Joshua ever experienced was in 2019 when he was able to make a trip back home to Barbados, and show his wife his homeland and all of the beauty there. Joshua is thankful to his grandma who raised him to always help others, no matter the circumstances. Joshua does his best to honor her by living his life with that idea in mind. At home, Daniel has two little pups, Rocko and Chihuahua/terrier mix and Daisy, a Yorkie/Maltese mix.

Santiago graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 2023, and majored in RTF (radio, television, film)! Santi has a deep love and passion for all things music. His future goals include becoming a music agent for the next Wu-Tang Clan or Motley Crue. Santi has a real go-gettem indset when it comes to getting environmental claims handled. Hire Date 11/2/2021 – Liz moved to Austin from San Francisco. She enjoys working in the automotive field, as it’s been a positive experience since she’s been a part of it. Outside of work, Liz enjoys watching movies, cooking, cleaning, playing video games like Super Nintendo and Super Mario, finding great spots for Indian food and sushi, and playing around with her pets – Randy and Vern, her two cats, and a bearded dragon named Princes Mushu. Around Austin, Liz likes to relax and take in the scenes at the lakes and rivers. When it comes to travel, Liz would like to visit Machu Picchu, go anywhere that she can see the aurora borealis, and can highly recommend a stay at an all-inclusive resort in Cancun, Mexico. Liz’s maternal grandmother, Luz Elena, is her hero as she taught Liz how to appreciate everything and work hard. Among amazing females, Liz would invite Cleopatra to dinner if she could sit down with anyone across all of history to be able to ask her how she was so powerful during her era. FUN FACT: Liz has been skydiving and she loves tattoos!

His gaming platform of choice is the PS5, and his favorite game at the moment is God of War. As for more favorites, Erik has two favorite meals: Tacos and Burgers. If he could travel anywhere, he would love to go to Santorini, Greece for the beautiful views, delicious food, and the beach.

Hire Date 3/11/2020 – Nathan is from the small Texas town of Abilene and is quick to say that Austin is so much better. When he’s not working, Nathan enjoys spending time with his two dogs, a black pug named Puhpee, and a Boston terrier named Lil Bebe. Nathan likes to listen to all genres and for live music, he really prefers to hear it from afar, as opposed to up close in the crowds. Batman is his ultimate hero all thanks to the fact that he’s the only true hero without superpowers. Nathan could listen to anything by King George Strait all day long, and when it comes to tv and movies, he really re-watches The Office. FUN FACT: Nathan is a self-proclaimed weirdo that likes to mix everything on his plate together, so meals, where the food is already integrated, are the biggest hits with him.

Hire Date 1/7/2013 – Jose was born in Mexico City, Mexico; but, his favorite city is Cancun, Mexico. Jose loves speed and his favorite movie is “Gone In 60 Seconds”, his favorite celebrity is Paul Walker (speed killed him) and in his spare time he loves racing his car. Jose loves his family and is happy when they are happy. He is a very conscientious person and feels extremely responsible for any of his actions.

He loves this city because you can always find something fun to do, whether it’s cruising around downtown, experiencing nature, or finding new restaurants to eat at! When he’s not busy working, Jose and his friends enjoy working on cars and attending car shows. His favorite meal is lasagna, and he will never turn down an invite to Pluckers. One day, Jose would love to explore all the cities in Italy and indulge in the delicious food!
Hire Date 11/16/2023 – Anahly was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She prefers summer over winter; in her free time, she enjoys going to the lake or pool and hitting up Congress Ave for some great food. At home, Anahly has two pets – a Shih Tzu named Bella she’s had since she was 6, and a Husky/Blue-Heeler named Spike. In the future, Anahly hopes to visit all 50 states to experience the different sceneries!
Hire Date 7/12/2021 – Julie is from the East Coast, New Jersey to be exact! She originally moved to Texas to go to grad school at Texas State, then moved away to Mississippi for a brief 3 years before coming back to Austin in November 2020. In Austin, Julie likes that there is a constant variety of things to do, like the ability to have brunch downtown, hang out on the water, or get lost in the woods – all on the same day. An endless amount of things to do, food to eat, and sights to see! Her favorite movie is A Walk to Remember and her favorite sports teams are the New York Giants and all of the teams at Mississippi State University. In her free time, Julie likes working out, biking, hiking, reading, and playing with her golden retriever/German shepherd mix, Gracie. She gets great fulfillment by finding ways to make fitness accessible and fun for those around her. Overall, Julie is excited to help others with their health and wellness goals. FUN FACT: Her favorite foods (that she misses from New Jersey) are pizza and bagels!
Hire Date 8/21/2017 – Clayton was born and raised in the San Antonio area, and moved to Austin in February 2016. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games on his PS4 and sometimes his PC. He’s really looking forward to Destiny 2! Clayton used to spend a fair amount of time bouldering (indoor rock climbing) at places like Austin Bouldering Project and Crux Climbing Center. His top goal on his bucket list is to go to space, but not as an astronaut, and have “crazy amounts of money” is a close second. You could say that they go hand-in-hand. FUN FACT: Clayton can type out the first 101 numbers of Pi – from memory!
Hire Date 10/9/2007 – For the past six plus years Antonia has used her talents to keep the Subaru showroom beautiful. Antonia has lived in Austin for over 14 years and has been married to her husband Noe for 15 years. Antonia and Noe, who works at another one of our CAG locations, have a son in elementary school and a teenage daughter. On the weekends Antonia will spend time in the park and go out to clubs to dance. The family also enjoys traveling to Mexico to visit their relatives.
Hire Date 10/21/2016 – Hector is an original Austinite. In his spare time, he enjoys playing video games. His all-time favorite game is Kingdom Hearts. He also enjoys watching anime and hanging out with his friends. Overall, Hector is pretty cool and basically lives and breathes Subaru tint and mods. Hire Date 09/06/2022 – Eric is a coffee-loving guy from Jobstown, New Jersey, and recently joined the Austin Subaru team as a barista due to his love for coffee and Subarus! When he’s not busy crafting delicious drinks, you can find Eric working out, playing & writing music, reading books, and learning how to code/program. He also loves playing video games on the Playstation 2 because it was his first real gaming console and holds some very special memories. Eric’s favorite thing about Austin would have to be the southern hospitality and the fact that it has a huge music scene. When it comes to food, Eric will never turn down some really awesome BBQ, which is convenient because Texas has some of the best BBQ out there! If you’re looking for a good band to listen to, Eric highly recommends The Smiths as they are his top-pick music group. The best vacation Eric has been on thus far was the time when he went on a cruise when he was younger, but he would love to visit Japan for its diverse culture and art. If he could invite anybody to dinner, Eric would choose Gordon Ramsey so he can talk about how terrible the food is. When asked who his hero is, Eric said his mother because she is the person who molded him into who he is today. At home, Eric has an adorable kitty cat named Iris! FUN FACT: Eric is a very curious guy and likes to ask a lot of questions for his own good.

She moved to Austin in 2008 and her favorite things about this city are the art scene, culture, weather, Town Lake, and all of the amazing people she’s met here. Carolyn’s hobbies include doing all things outdoors like hiking, kayaking, and camping. She also enjoys drawing, painting, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Carolyn is passionate about theater and film and tries to catch a play whenever she can. She considers herself to be a foodie and loves discovering new restaurants and coffee shops here in Austin. Her favorite place to grab a bite to eat is Sazan Ramen off Airport Blvd. Carolyn recently traveled to Big Bend NP and Estes Park in Colorado and notes it to be her favorite vacation. Hire Date 1/25/2022 – Jacob is from Ruston, Louisiana. Growing up, his father owned an auto repair shop, which influenced him to step into the automotive industry around 1999. Fast forward to now, Jacob is very excited to be joining the Austin Subaru family! When he’s not working, Jacob enjoys attending live music events and spending as much time as he can with his wife and their two children. Speaking of music, Jacob loves it so much that he moved to Austin so he could be closer to the live music scene! Her favorite restaurant is the Turkey Leg Hut and will devour anything on the menu, especially the amazing turkey legs. Aubrey has traveled much in her life, but the best places she’s been to thus far are Switzerland, Greece, and Sardinia. She and her sister have always wanted to visit Japan, and she would love to see Thailand for its incredible food, beautiful beaches, and elephants! Hire Date 12/10/2020 – Chloe is from Los Angeles, California. She moved to Texas in 2015, and she’s grateful that everyone was so nice and welcoming. She’s been a big fan of cars since she got her first car when she turned 16. When she’s not busy working, Chloe enjoys playing the piano and ukulele, and singing every now and again, too. As of the end of 2020, Spotify told her that her most listened to artists were Blackbear and Dua Lipa. She thinks volleyball is the best sport, she’s always down for a chicken sandwich, and Pretty Woman is her favorite movie because of how much she loves Julia Roberts. Chloe is an animal lover and has two mini Australian shepherds, Jasper (pictured) and Bailey, as well as a golden retriever/chow mix, named Shandy. At the top of her travel list, you’ll find England and Ireland as that’s where most of her family lineage is from.

In his free time, he loves to mountain bike throughout the Hill Country and Austin area. He also enjoys going on hikes with his best friend Mabel, his dog! His favorite thing about Austin is the food scene. There are too many great places to mention, but all of the delicious food is why he has to hike and mountain bike so much! Douglas loves to travel, and Rocky Mountain National Park is one of his favorite places to visit. He likes exploring the Tetons and Yellowstone. When it comes to sports, Douglas roots for the Kansas City Chiefs. Douglas also has one daughter who’s an aspiring Broadway dancer. FUN FACT: Douglas wrote a bestselling children’s book called Little Doug Gets Scared.
Hire Date 9/6/2016 – Michael was born and raised in Brownsville, Texas, and feels lucky to have made it out to Austin in 2015. After 6 years of being a photographer for another dealership in CAG, Michael was eager to expand his creativity and knowledge. As a result, he joined the marketing team and now handles the social media content for Austin Subaru! While Michael has been in Austin, he has truly become an amazing nightscapes photographer. You may see him riding his bike at night through the city looking for his next great shot. And Michael’s favorite time to photograph…? In the rain! Michael is an outdoorsy guy, and he can’t wait to get a longboard or a kayak to continue his adventures. He also loves dogs and spends some of his free time dogsitting.

She loves going to everything from small intimate shows to massive music festivals. If Arlie could invite anyone to dinner, hands down she would invite Audrey Hepburn. Arlie is addicted to her PS5 and her favorite game at the moment is Persona 5. At home, Arlie has a pug named Tom Sawyer who is the light of her life.
Annica is from Elsa, TX and has been in the auto industry since 2016. Her biggest heroes in life are her parents, and she is grateful that they have always stood by her and loved her unconditionally. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her awesome kids Isabella Renee and Olivia Grace, play Duck Hunt on Nintendo, watch My Big Fat Greek Wedding, cheer for the Dallas Cowboys, and listen to George Strait as often as possible. In fact, if she could invite anyone to dinner, it’d be George Strait, and she’d hope for him to sing “I Cross My Heart” for her… Don’t worry, her husband’s cool with it! Annica and her husband met when she joined the Army National Guard at 28 years old. His previous employer moved him out here when they relocated their business, and Brent is thankful for the fresh start in a new city that came along, too. He’s a musician, and in his free time, you’ll often find him playing guitar. Brent also enjoys playing games on his PS4, and is currently enjoying Red Dead Redemption 2. He also has a unique hobby of building Gundams from animes where he paints, assembles, and then adds on more attachments! One day, Brent would also love to experience the culture and travel to a lot of places in Asia, including China, Japan, Korea, and Thailand.

At home, he has a dog named Lily and two cats named Pluto and Chester.
Hire Date 01/04/2024 – Stephen grew up in a small town in South Island, New Zealand by the name of Blenheim. In his free time, he enjoys drone racing and swimming at the YMCA in downtown Austin. Stephen is also a self-proclaimed Au-Greek, meaning that he is a huge fan of all things airplanes and travel, and he hopes to visit the Baltic states (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) soon! Interestingly enough, he was supposed to do a study abroad program there, but it was unfortunately canceled due to the Covid-19 pandemic. When asked who his hero is, Stephen chose his mom because she never ceased to amaze him.

In Austin, Jill enjoys being at the edge of the Hill Country, which is not a way she expected the area would be. When she’s not working, she loves paper crafting, traveling, hiking, watching the Harry Potter series, listening to Celine Deon, grabbing a bite to eat from Trulucks, and hanging out with her boys! One of Jill’s favorite trips was out to Washington, DC and someday, she’d like to go Hawaii for the best of both worlds: the beach and the mountains! Hire Date 8/3/2000 – A long time veteran of Austin Subaru, Billy is the second highest rated Subaru technician in the United States. Billy remembers seeing the 1992 Subaru SVX and falling in love with the car maker. However, it is the cars’ dependability that has kept him hooked. Billy encourages customers to test drive their Subarus in bad weather and says that, if you keep oil and water in a Subaru, it will run forever. Billy currently owns five Subarus and has also given them to both his parents and children. Billy and his wife Keri were married over seven years ago in the famous Little White Wedding Chapel on the Las Vegas strip. They have two children and live on fives acres in Copeland with their horse, Big Dog. Billy has been known to drive his riding lawnmower to the local convenience store.* * video coming soon. Billy has many certifications including: ASE Master Technician, ASE L1 Certified, and Sr. Master Subaru Technician. Billy participated in the 2007 Subaru National Technician Competition and took 2nd place, and he also participated in the same competition in 2011, where he won and moved on to the 2011 Subaru International Technician Competition held in Japan, where he took 4th place!

When she’s not busy working, Lisa is likely cozying up with a good book, baking, going to the movies, or window shopping. Hire Date 10/19/2020 – Patrick is an Austinite and a car guy, so he’s completely at home with Austin Subaru! He loves that there is so much growth and opportunity in the city now more than ever. Patrick enjoys working on his car, playing basketball, listening to all kinds of music, grabbing a bite to eat from Wingstop, playing video games like the COD series on his PS4, and watching good scary movies. Thanks to a love of basketball while growing up, he’s always been a huge fan of the Lakers – RIP Kobe. Marie enjoys interacting with people which is what led her to apply and join the team at Austin Subaru. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, watching Netflix, exploring new places, listening to Taylor Swift, finding great locations for tacos, and rooting for the Mississippi State Bulldogs Baseball team and the Oregon Ducks. She went on an excellent trip to Ireland and can’t wait to put some of her Norwegian speaking skills to use on a trip to Norway one day – that’s where her family is from!

Tony has an adorable Corgi named Cecil, who had the name was before the famous lion did, but is none-the-less fierce! Tony also has a degree in Media Arts and Animation, and he enjoys spending some time getting to create 2D cartoons!

Hire Date 08/28/2024 – Harry is originally from Dublin, Ireland. He just recently moved to the United States for the first time to begin his professional career! Harry is an avid sports fan. In his free time, he likes to play rugby and golf. He also watches a lot of football, or “soccer,” and especially enjoys when Man United wins. Traveling is one of Harry’s passions. He spent last summer traveling around South East Asia, and in the future he would love to travel around South and Central America to experience the culture and foods. Since moving to Austin, Harry’s favorite food has to be the BBQ or the tacos, but he does still miss a full Irish breakfast from back home. At home, Harry has a dog named Blu, who he loves taking for walks along the beach on the weekends.
Hire Date 01/17/2024 – Mike has been working in the automotive world since 2013, and he’s excited about this new opportunity with Continental Automotive Group! Recently, Mike went to a concert at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and that is now his all-time favorite music venue. If you’re ever in Colorado, he highly recommends you check it out. The best vacation Mike has been on was a 2-week-long trip to Australia where he got to explore the beautiful aspects of the country. When it comes to movies, Mike’s top pick is “Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny”. He knows every song in that movie and has lost track of how many times he’s seen it! Mike has two adorable pit bulls named Luci and Big Boi, and they are as sweet as can be.

Austin is just as much home as Mexico though, as they truly go hand-in-hand in her heart. She’s proud to be an Austinite thanks to it being a city that not only accepts, but embraces the color of everyones skin, LGBTQ+ customs, amazing music, unique fashion, pets, wellness, and FOOD! Jessica is thankful to her dad who raised her as a single father, showed her hardworking customs, and to top it all off – he makes the best carne asadas. Ashley is from Houston and the Texans and Astros are forever her two favorite teams. She’s been in the automotive world for a while as Ashley was used to the idea of the car business thanks to her Grandpa, who had owned a few used car lots when she was growing up. She is very close to her family. Ashley misses her Tita who passed away and she idolizes her nana who never gave up, always took care of her family, and always showed unconditional love. Through these examples, Ashley has the best outlook and support for her own children, Liam Ryder and Leila Rose. When Ashley isn’t at work, she likes to be with her kids, play darts, and spend time with her dogs, a cocker spaniel mix, Max, and blind terrier mix, Bella Fred. Her favorite things about Austin are how welcoming all the people are and all of the cool opportunities the city has to offer! Aubrey comes from a small town, so it’s great how many wonderful places Austin has to explore, and the lakes make her feel at home. On her days off, you can find Aubrey reading, going to concerts, and traveling to cool places. She loves immersing herself in new environments. She also played a lot of racing simulation video games and still does this on days when she’s just chilling at home. When she’s not working, Hannah enjoys attending car meets and even brings her old Fujifilm camera with her so she can record all of the memories. Ricardo has lived in Austin for more than eight years and says that he and his family enjoy it much more than Houston, although they often return to Houston to visit relatives. Ricardo and his wife have two teenagers, a son and a daughter. Ricardo’s hobbies include fishing and other outdoor activities, and he likes to take weekend camping trips with his family. After earning her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Midwestern State University, Cindy moved to Texas Tech University to become certified in teaching. Her favorite thing about Austin would have to be the beautiful hidden hills and the fact that this is a great community for artists. Another great thing about Austin – THE FOOD! Cindy loves virtually every style of cuisine, but her all-time favorite food would have to be crab legs. Cindy is extremely passionate about theatre and music, and her top two favorite musical genres are undoubtedly Show tunes and Classic rock. Her list of favorite movies is never-ending, but her top picks are Hamilton, The Princess Bride, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Forrest Gump, The Man in the Iron Mask, and A Few Good Men. At home, Cindy has a Black Lab/Australian Shepherd Mix named Myla (aka Myla Mae, Mylita Chiquita Perrita Bonita… the list goes on) and two cats, Gomez and Morticia, who are from the same litter. Hire Date: 8/29/2013 – Juaquin started his interesting life in the grand Metropolis of Dallas, Texas but quickly moved to Round Mountain, Texas. There he grew up on a turkey ranch where he recollects a lifestyle of peace and quiet except for Thanksgiving. Then the happiest time of his life occurred when he graduated from high school. Juaquin worked at McDonalds restaurant for a period of time then helped his father in the concrete business until he decided to attend automotive school to become a technician. That skill is what led him to Austin Subaru. When not on the job, he passes the time drawing (a true artist at heart), lifting weights and anything that keeps him busy. Now he is busy getting his life together and making better choices to move toward a better future.

She loves animals of all species owning multiple cats, a Lab named Tippy, a Uromastyx named Remus and a 75 gallon fish tank. Austin has been a great choice for him and his family due to the culture and amenities of most large cities, coupled with the fact that it still holds on to the small-town feel. Not to mention, you can drive just 30 minutes in almost any direction to be engulfed in nature, too. In Austin, Ayron enjoys getting a bite to eat at The Beer Plant and catching a show at The Mohawk. His musical interests span from punk rock and hip hop to Americana and jazz, and he’s thankful he’s in the right place to hear all of it. In his free time, Ayron likes to flip through stacks of vinyls at record stores, play ice hockey, hangout with Mavis, the family labradoodle, and spend time with his wife and two daughters, especially down at the coast! Hire Date 08/13/2024 – Liz was born and raised in South East Austin and still lives there currently with her partner and their 3 rescue cats, Moby, Nina, and Jax. In her free time, Liz likes to travel and spend as much time as possible outdoors. She especially loves swimming and hiking. Liz recently traveled to New York with friends where they explored the city and attended the Christmas tree lighting! Hire Date 5/15/2017 – Renee is originally from El Paso, TX but moved to the Austin area in 2010. In her spare time, she loves listening to music – she’s a big K-Pop fan! – watching movies and tv shows, and catching up on some z’s. She also loves spending time with her pup, Maze, who’s half husky and half german shepherd. Because of her love of K-Pop and her fascination with the culture, Renee would love to visit South Korea. Everything she’s seen of South Korea is so beautiful and it would be a dream to see it in person and try all the delicious food. She would also love to experience the magic of Disney World and Universal Studios one day. Wizarding World of Harry Potter, here she comes! Renee used to be a barista, so she’s serious about her coffee. She drinks at least one cup of coffee a day, but she’ll also mix it up with some hot or iced tea throughout the day. FUN FACT: Renee went to her first K-Pop concert on October 8, 2022 and her second K-Pop concert on January 11, 2023. They were for different K-Pop groups. It was an unforgettable experience and she’s hoping to go to more concerts in the future.

Hire Date 1/12/2021 – Alan is from San Antonio. In Austin, he’s a fan of the fact there is always something to do, like hiking, kayaking, skydiving, and overall, just existing in Austin is pretty nice–unless you’re stuck in traffic. In his free time, Alan can be found drifting cars, taking pictures, playing guitar, hanging out with his dogs and cat, rooting for the San Antonio Spurs & FC Barcelona, building computers, and playing video games like Cyberpunk on his PC. He enjoys a lot of music and is currently digging Coin, Turnover, The 1975, and Catfish and the Bottlemen. Alan enjoys traveling with his friends. They all spent time together in New York and Boston, and once COVID-19 is more tame, they’re hoping to make a trip to Japan. Hire Date 3/20/2019 – Chris was born and raised in the Austin/Pflugerville area and he loves it here. It makes him feel like an outlier from his family though, as they tend to live in one place for about 10 years and then move on. Chris has traveled throughout Europe and Asia, and also went to Japan when he was just 13-years-old–thanks to his Aunt. (She takes all the nieces and nephews as soon as they turn 13, out for a two week trip to wherever they want to go!) Chris loved that trip and is fond of his memories from all over Japan. When he’s not working, Chris likes to play bass guitar with his friends/bandmates–minus their drummer while he’s in the Army, play video games on his PC, and go boating with his dad out on Canyon Lake. Since he’s already experienced a lot of the world, Chris’ bucket list contains the “normal” life things like buying a house, getting married, and adding a Corgi to his life!
Hire Date 09/09/2024 – Connor was born in Austin and lived there most of his life, but now lives in Kyle, TX. Connor is a big fan of Formula 1; he’s still getting into more of the technical part of the sport, but it’s fun to watch. He is also big on archery, and he’s been doing it since he was 14 years old. There are many bands Connor likes, but Linkin Park and Crown the Empire are two of his favorites! The best vacation he’s ever been on was a road trip to California to see the last Warped Tour in 2018. When he’s not working, watching racing, or listening to music, you can probably find Connor gaming. He’s into first person shooter games and some massively multiplayer online games, but he mostly focuses on the game Apex Legends, where he’s huge on ranked play. He has also slowly been getting into Once Human, which has a slow pace but a fun open world concept.
Hire Date 7/3/2019 – Jesse is from Palmview, Texas and he gets a kick out of fixing computers, phones, and tablets in his spare time. He also enjoys spending time with his family, listening to music like Nickelback or Mariya Takeuchi, playing video games like Apex Legends on his Xbox One, biking and weight training, playing board games, and cheering for Monterrey’s soccer team. His favorite movie is definitely Interstellar, simply because Murph let him go. If he could, Jesse would eat the tacos and baked potatoes from Taco Rico every day. One day, Jesse plans to travel to Japan, South Korea, and the Philippines for some true Asian cuisine and culture!
Hire Date 3/2/2020 – Jim was born in Connecticut and raised in South Carolina before making it to Austin. Jim loves that Austin is different from any place he’s visited or lived before and that the people; Austinites, who truly make Austin special. He’s been in the automotive industry since 2000 and enjoys everything about cars! In his free time, Jim likes to bowl, shoot guns, and hang out with his friends and family. When it comes to food, any meal is his favorite! Jim has been to Hawaii on several occasions and it’s by-far, his favorite place to vacation. Outside of work, Chrisha enjoys watching movies, cooking up new recipes, trying out new restaurants around town (especially for seafood), hanging out with friends, rooting for the Cowboys, and spending time with her pitbull, King. Dear Mama by Tupac is one of her most played songs, and if she had the opportunity to have dinner with anyone, she’d likely choose Tupac – or Michael B. Jordan, it’s a close tie! Chrisha enjoys traveling and will tell you that Cozumel was wonderful, and someday she would like to see all of the architecture and museums in Rome. Devin is quite the outdoorsman, and in his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, driving through national/state parks, camping, rock climbing, and powerlifting. Devin’s favorite musical artist is Frank Ocean, but his top song would have to be Rest My Chemistry by Interpol. There are so many delicious restaurants here in Austin, but Madrasdhaba makes a Tikka Masala dish that Devin could never pass up; it’s his go-to meal! While Devin loves virtually anything to do with fitness and being outdoors, he agrees that it’s nice to relax with a good movie from time to time, and his personal favorite would have to be The Lighthouse!

Hire Date 9/16/2019 – Jessica loves the sense of community in Austin; the embrace of being strange and different all while living happily. Her mom lives in New York City and Jessica loves to travel to visit her and the vibrancy of NYC as often as she can. She says there are so many options of things to do–plus, she’s a huge fan of the show Broad City, and it’s always fun to find another location that they used in filming there! Jessica also got to fulfill one of her bucket list items in 2018. She got to meet a sloth and hang out with it for an hour! Dream come true!

With previous work experience in a titling role for an insurance company, she felt like getting into the title side of things within the automotive industry would be a good move for her. Her husband is her hero as he truly works harder than anyone she knows, though she’d gladly invite Keith Urban to dinner if she could choose anyone. One of her best vacations was spent in Florida, and one day she’d like to go to Hawaii.

Tyler also has a major passion for travel. One place that’s at the top of his bucket list is South Africa. Adrik’s favorite thing about Austin is the city’s ability to balance lush green nature with big city life. It reminds him of his favorite parts of California. Adrik is an avid video game enthusiast. While he’s always on team PlayStation, he did build his own PC in order to take advantage of all that system has to offer. His all-time favorite game is Horizon: Zero Down. “Open world RPGs are my favorite!” As for some more favorites, Adrik’s favorite movie(s) is the Star Wars franchise. Although Disney’s creative choices aren’t great, the original and prequel trilogy will always stand the test of time! Since he grew up playing sports, Adrik has been following professional sports his entire life. His two favorite teams are the Colorado Rockies and the Philadelphia Eagles. Go Rox & Go Birds!

She once got to see Elton John perform at the Hollywood Bowl and says it is the best concert she has been to thus far. Julie’s favorite vacation was a trip she took to Sanibel Island before the hurricane hit, and she one day hopes to visit Iceland so she can see Aurora Borealis up close. Mark loves that you can never be bored in Austin and that it’s the most wonderfully eclectic city with so much live music and so many performances. With over 20 years in the automotive world, he truly enjoys helping people get into a great vehicle that meets their needs. When he’s not working, Mark enjoys painting, wood crafting, biking, traveling, and spending time with his family. All of his family are all his heroes through the way they support and lift him every day. She taught Diana the importance of life and that you can achieve anything that you put your mind to, and the only way to not reach those goals is to not try. She believes in never giving up on your hopes and dreams! One day, Diana would love to go to both England and Ireland. They are both places that her mom had wanted to travel to, and Diana decided that she will go to honor her mom’s memory. Hire Date 08/19/2024 – Jack is originally from Boston, MA – home to the city of champions! “Go Celtics!” Coming from the northeast, the lack of snow and frigid weather is one of Jack’s favorite things about Austin. He also loves how dog-friendly the city is and the plethora of outdoor activities. Jack says that here in Austin, you can never go wrong with barbecue! His favorite BBQ place as of late has been Leroy & Lewis. As for sports, Jack roots for any and all things Boston – Celtics, Patriots, Bruins, Red Sox, etc. At home, Jack has a Doberman named Goose.
Hire Date 09/24/2024 – Outside of work, Hannah loves going to wineries and discovering new breweries. You might also find her enjoying a concert as she tries to go to at least one a year. Hannah is also on a mission to experience every rooftop bar or lounge in Austin. The best vacations Hannah’s been on so far are the vacations she’s taken with her family. They have family retreats every year! In the future, Hannah dreams of visiting Singapore, Cappadocia, Turkey, and Italy. When it comes to sports, Hannah roots for any team out of Houston. The Astros, Rockets, Texans, she loves them all! At home, Hannah has 4 pets – two dogs and two cats. She has a rottweiler named Beans, a pit bull named Boss, and two orange tabbies named Zach and Cody.
Hire Date 10/04/12 – Isaac was born in Greenbay, WI, and yes, he is a Packers fan and owner, as are his kids. He has lived in San Diego, Phoenix, Virginia, Philly, D.C., Delaware and Maryland. In the fall of 2004 he met the woman who would become his wife on a campaign trip to Beaumont, TX. After spending the summer of 2005 in Maryland, his wife could no longer stand to be away from the Great State of Texas. That fall, his family moved to her hometown of Beaumont with the intent of coming to Austin in a year for Isaac to pursue graduate studies at UT. Hurricane Rita upped that timetable and the family came to Austin in January 2006. Isaac found that, opposite of what he was told, public transportation here is pretty much non-existent, so he decided to look for work where the cars are. His family is everything to him and he feels blessed to have a wonderful wife, three beautiful children, two rescued dogs (Wubby and BO-C), three rescued cats (Piper, Odamae, and Scampi), and one rabbit who is black, but is named Gray Bunny. Isaac is the only non-native Texan in his family but did get here as soon as he could.

Hire Date 3/31/2021 – Michael is a local guy who went to school in Del Valle. He’s always had a passion for cars and the technology behind them. Michael enjoys spending his free time watching videos about cars, running the boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake, and grabbing coffee from Summermoon everyday. He’d recommend trying out the fish burrito from Cabo Bob’s as well as the crawfish at Shoal Creek Saloon. One day, Michael would like to attend Tomorrowland in Belgium and be able to scratch that goal off of his bucket list. Apart from Belgium, Michael is interested in checking out the pacific northwest, like Washington and Oregon. National Parks, like Yellowstone, and famous lakes, like Lake Tahoe, are also very high on his list. He’s yet to leave Texas, but has the drive to explore!

He says he his satisfied with everything he has accomplished in life, and when he’s not working, he is spending time with his family. When he’s not working, Nathan enjoys spending time with his two dogs, a black pug named Puhpee, and a Boston terrier named Lil Bebe. Hire Date 08/12/2024 – Douglas went to school at the University of Wyoming and has been living in Austin for over 20 years. In his free time, he loves to mountain bike throughout the Hill Country and Austin area. He also enjoys going on hikes with his best friend Mabel, his dog! His favorite thing about Austin is the food scene. There are too many great places to mention, but all of the delicious food is why he has to hike and mountain bike so much! Douglas loves to travel, and Rocky Mountain National Park is one of his favorite places to visit. He likes exploring the Tetons and Yellowstone. Ayron came to Austin Subaru with 25 years of customer service experience and we’re thankful he decided to become a part of our Subaru family. Austin has been a great choice for him and his family due to the culture and amenities of most large cities, coupled with the fact that it still holds on to the small-town feel. Not to mention, you can drive just 30 minutes in almost any direction to be engulfed in nature, too. In Austin, Ayron enjoys getting a bite to eat at The Beer Plant and catching a show at The Mohawk. His musical interests span from punk rock and hip hop to Americana and jazz, and he’s thankful he’s in the right place to hear all of it. In his free time, Ayron likes to flip through stacks of vinyls at record stores, play ice hockey, hangout with Mavis, the family labradoodle, and spend time with his wife and two daughters, especially down at the coast! Hire Date 03/12/2024 – In Michael’s free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors with family. Some of the things they like doing together are hiking, camping, overlanding, fishing, and hunting. On top of that, Michael loves to travel. The best trip he’s been on was to Oaxaca, Mexico with his wife and friends. They had a great time eating the local cuisine, exploring historical sites, shopping in lively markets, and meeting wonderful people. He’s looking forward to going back soon! Another place he and his wife love going is Napa, CA to explore the local wine. They find something new everytime they go. When it comes to sports, Michael is a huge Formula 1 fan. He’s been cheering on the Ferrari team for over 30 years! At home, Michael has two pets: a cat named Felipe and a labradoodle named Dermo.

When he’s not working, Chris enjoys spending time in the pool with his daughter, Kalliope, his wife, Karina, and their dog, Bella. The best vacation Chris has been on was to Roatán, Honduras, where he and his wife got married. They got to fire a pirate cannon together! When it comes to sports, Chris roots for the Dallas Cowboys. Hire Date 6/3/2013 – Eddie moved to Austin in ’89 all thanks to his brother telling him how much he loved it here. Eddie is a huge fan of baseball, and still plays himself! In the last few years, he’s been to At&T Park in San Francisco, and out to Wrigley Field in Chicago, with just a few more stadiums left on his list. He plays Center Field in an adult league in the Austin area, and they often play at local fields like Anderson High School and Huston-Tillotson University. In this league, Eddie also plays against a fellow CAG team member, Garrett Liming. Also at work with Eddie is his son, Greyson, who is a photographer for all of the Subaru inventory. Eddie and his family have 3 adorable and lovable Bulldogs, Ronin, Major Duval, and Sergeant Ruger. They also tend to a huge garden compromised of around 60 variations of roses! When he’s not at work, Eddie enjoys being outdoors and spending his time golfing or kayaking. One day, he’d like to visit the South of France to see the countryside and the learn more about the history.

As for travel, his best vacation was a trip to Europe with his wife. They visited England and many parts of France and got to meet lots of family!

You can find her attending car meets in her customized BRZ and playing video games like Destiny, COD, and Pokémon games across her preferred gaming consoles: Xbox Series X and Nintendo Switch. In 2021, Shelby and her brother were able to attend one of the coolest car shows out there, Slammedenuff Gatlinburg in Tennessee, which featured countless fantastically modded vehicles. One day, Shelby plans to travel to Japan during the cherry blossom season to experience the scenery during that time of year, as well as getting to take in some of the culture that she admires first hand. She’s passionate about many things that originated in Japan, so she’s looking forward to visiting a lot of places that are related to her interests, and that are only in Japan! FUN FACT: Shelby also has a leopard gecko named Navi, and back in Ohio, she has a sweet husky named Kodiak.

Now, grown-up, Britney’s favorite thing about Austin is the fact that there are so many local breweries. She has a ’13 WRX hatchback and the moment she knew she was ready to leave the waitressing business, paired with the proximity of Austin Subaru, Britney knew she was home. She’s also very into drifting and spends a lot of her free time practicing via sim racing on Assetto Corsa, and building her drift car. Hire Date 03/06/2023 – Carolyn was born and raised in Madison, Ohio, a small town located just outside of Cleveland and right along Lake Erie. She moved to Austin in 2008 and her favorite things about this city are the art scene, culture, weather, Town Lake, and all of the amazing people she’s met here. Carolyn’s hobbies include doing all things outdoors like hiking, kayaking, and camping. She also enjoys drawing, painting, reading, and spending time with family and friends. Carolyn is passionate about theater and film and tries to catch a play whenever she can. She considers herself to be a foodie and loves discovering new restaurants and coffee shops here in Austin. Her favorite place to grab a bite to eat is Sazan Ramen off Airport Blvd. Carolyn recently traveled to Big Bend NP and Estes Park in Colorado and notes it to be her favorite vacation. Fast forward to now, Jacob is very excited to be joining the Austin Subaru family! Hire Date 1/15/2014 – Christopher’s life began in Bitburg, Germany. He lived in Europe for a total of 7 years and moved to Austin, Texas in January 2014. Complimenting his love for speed and cars his favorite sport is Formula 1. Christopher has a wonderful wife named Miriam and two awesome cats, Carl and Claus. He is an Air Force Vet and was a civilian contractor in Afghanistan working as an MRAP mechanic. This gave him tremendous training in repairing vehicles.

She’s quite the foodie, and even has her own foodie bucket list of all the restaurants that she wants to try. Yoli and her husband, Miguel, enjoy cuddling up with the family and watching movies at home, trying new foods together, joy riding in their “la fea” ’97 Subaru Impreza 2.5, and doing anything that gets their adrenaline up! In fact, Yoli has a fear of the water, but she also really loves to canoe and kayak! She and her husband are both car enthusiasts, especially Subaru lovers, and they own 5 cars–4 Subarus, and 1 odd-man-out American make. She’s always been interested in cars and says that the older, more simple cars with quaint interiors hold a special place in her heart. Some of Yoli’s biggest passions in life are budgeting and crunching numbers to save for her dream home, doing her best to make sure that her family is a zero food waste household, and producing the least amount of trash-waste possible by recycling as much as they possibly can.
