Hire Date 10/12/2009 – Brent has been with CAG since 2009, and has been in the car business since he was a teenager, though he won’t say how long ago that is! He loves to point out, to anyone that will listen, that CAG is the best group to work for because we always focus on the two most important things; taking care of our customers and team members. He is a big UT fan and is consistently tormented by his three college students, who attend Texas State, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech. When not working, he would hope to be at the beach with his wife Andrea, and also enjoys training and competing in triathlons.
Hire Date 6/22/2017 – Ahmed is working in the right place, because his main hobby is everything about cars, especially sports cars. Ahmed was born in Baghdad, Iraq, and came to USA on January 1, 2017. He moved here with his wife and their two children, and are very happy to be in Austin. Ahmed is over joyed that his children are both interested in cars as much as him. Ahmed has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology in Iraq. When he was in Iraq, he would buy older BMWs and fix them up spending time as a mechanic in his time off. From working on his passions in his free time, it felt like a dream come true when he joined the Austin Subaru team. He likes to learn from the best, and feels that he is in the right place to do just that. Ahmed hopes to be able to study again here, and obtain a degree equal to his degree from Iraq.
Hire Date 4/6/2015 – Ana is a smart young lady who graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelors in Food Service Management and an Associates in Baking and Pastry Arts. Ana and her furbaby Sami have traveled up and down the East Coast but their hearts are deep in the heart of Texas! You can find Ana by the sparkle in her eyes or pretty much anywhere on her. Ana was proud to announce the arrival of her first born son on July 1st, 2016. She welcomed her sweet baby boy, Andrew Angel.. look out world!
Hire Date 1/2/2015 – Nathan moved to Austin from Dallas in 2013 and has been with Austin Subaru since January of 2015. He enjoys, more than most things, time spent with family and had a “life-altering” trip to Portland, Oregon. He says “I look forward to birthdays and holidays when we all get together to watch movies and eat good, healthy, home cooked food.” He can’t wait for the summer months when there are plenty of outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking and biking. He is passionate about art, soccer, yoga, and Whole Foods! With his degree in Graphic Design and an artsy eye, Nathan fits perfectly as the new photographer.
Hire Date 6/17/2017 – Allen moved to Austin in May 2016 from Forth Worth. He enjoys fishing in his spare time. He also enjoys working on old cars and trucks–he says the cars he drives at CAG are like spaceships compared to the cars he works on! His favorite part about living in Austin is the never ending variety of good food.
Hire Date 5/30/2016 – Stephanie was born in a little town called Wharton, Texas outside of Houston. While she has country roots, she loves the city, and has been in Austin since she was 12. Now, Stephanie is happily divorced, the mom to two great teenagers, and one happy little Maltese, Paris. Whenever she is not at work, her life entirely revolves around her dog and her children. Unlike some parents, Stephanie loves it when her kids bring all of their friends home with them, as she loves to cook for large crowds! She spends some of her time volunteering for different causes, including Operation Turkey, and is a chair person for her daughter’s high school football team (Vista Ridge Football Club), and Project Graduation!
Hire Date 1/5/2015 – Born and raised right here in Austin, Texas, Erik is no stranger to the wonders this amazing city has to offer. As a true Austinite, he likes to keep it a little weird! He’s a funny guy with a love for the Cowboys, Spurs, cereal, crafting and watching movies. Erik likes to live in the moment and has never been happier! And although life in the present is so great, he does on occasion look to the future. That’s why he decided to work for us here at Austin Subaru – We are a great place to start an excellent career! We look forward to hearing more of his entertaining life stories and dreams of adventuring in Dubai in his ’64 Stingray.
Hire Date 12/02/2013 – Prior to moving to Austin in 2011, Richard lived in Houston for 18 years, then moved to San Antonio to attend UTSA. He considers his move to Austin to be one of the best decisions of his life (he loves living here), other than marrying his wife. His love of cars inspired him to come to work at Austin Subaru. When not at work, he enjoys running with his two dogs Kaci and Zoie in a nearby park.

Hire Date 10/9/2017 – Josiah was born and raised in Austin, and says the best part about living here is the incredibly friendly people and atmosphere. He’s a songwriter who plays multiple instruments, but his primary instrument of choice is the guitar. His favorite movies are the Lord of the Rings trilogy. He has a redbone coonhound named Danny.

Hire Date 6/7/2017 – Lati is a native of Togo who moved to Austin, TX in 2001 after he completed his undergraduate education at NYU. Lati is married with two children and he is also an ordained minister. Lati loves writing and has a book in the making.

Hire Date 1/14/2003 – Suzette grew-up in a once little town near Austin, Texas called Dripping Springs. She started working for the Continental Automotive Group at the age of 17 as a receptionist where she met her husband, Andrew Burrow. From receptionist, she then bounced around CAG, and today she works as a Marketing Consultant for all of CAG! If you can’t get enough of her from the informative videos on the web, then you can often find her at Matt’s El Rancho, her favorite Mexican food restaurant in Austin.
Hire Date 10/24/2011 – Steve Carter was born in Kings Lynn, United Kingdom and describes himself as an Army brat. Steve moved to Austin in 1979 from Baltimore for music and his dream came true! In his spare time, he enjoys playing music and being with his wife, Mary, and two kids, Graham and Mina. If he could meet anyone, dead or alive, that person would be Julius Caesar. If he was on a deserted island the five albums he would have for entertainment would be: “Pet Sounds” by The Beach Boys, “The Band” by The Band, “Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” by The Beatles, Frank Sinatra “Live,” and his solo CD. Steve is described as funny, caring, and compassionate. He’s met Bob Marley and has played music with Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Stevie Ray Vaughn, J.J. Cale, and Leon Russell, among many others. Steve is proud of having integrity, being sober, and becoming a respected musician.

Hire Date 12/21/2017 – Michael moved to Austin from San Jose. His hobbies are motorcycles and project cars. He also enjoys going on walks with his dog Samson.
Hire Date 11/08/12 – Meet Mark Castillo. He was born here in Austin Texas and has lived here all his life because he loves it so much! Austin has changed so much since then, but he thinks all the changes are for the better. If he could describe himself, he would say that he is a nice person and tries and help people whenever he can. He likes working at Austin Subaru because it is a great company and all the employees are super nice and he believes that the vehicles here are great in quality!
Hire Date 6/1/2009 – Ana is originally from California but has been living in Austin since 2007. She has a young daughter who is the light of her life. When she’s off, her and her daughter spend quality time together and enjoy walking along the greenbelt and hiking. Ana loves chocolate and would eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if she could!
Hire Date 4/20/2018 – Conner is originally from Amarillo. He spends most of his time working and studying. He’s currently working towards his Business degree at ACC. He enjoys working on cars and oil painting.
Hire Date 1/3/2018 – Jason is from Georgetown. He has two daughters, who he spends most of his non-working hours with. They frequently enjoy going to Inner Space Caverns and doing all the activities there. Jason has two dogs named Baby Dog and Sprite (named by the kids, if you couldn’t tell)!
Hire Date 7/3/2017 – Kurtis moved to Austin from Florida in 2004. He enjoys spending his leisure time golfing, swimming, and being out of Lake Travis. He has a 9 year old son and a dog named Sadie. His favorite parts about living in Austin are the people and all the activities the city offers.

Hire Date 6/29/1992 – Debbie was born and raised in Texas, and came to Austin in 1984. Debbie has been in the car business since 85′ and is grateful to have been with CAG since 92′. She loves getting to travel around and visit her son, who is a Master Sergeant in the US Airforce. He has been stationed in Germany, Italy, Hawaii, Guam, and Korea, so she has had some great trips while visiting him! Debbie enjoys all of the time she gets to spend with her 5 grandkids, and has very happy memories of getting to watch her oldest grandson play baseball and watch him and his teammates grow up together. The one thing she is looking forward to more than anything, even more than her own retirement, is the retirement of her son from the Airforce, so that he can move back home.
Hire Date 11/27/2006 – Mark owned his own general contracting business and worked for Mr. Hardeman and the Continental Automotive Group for many years before becoming a full time employee in November 2006. Mark says that during his time as a contractor he noticed what a wonderful company this was, and he wanted to become a part of the team. Mark has been the CAG Health and Safety Manager for over four years now.Mark plays the keyboard and organ for a Christian rock band at his church, The Journey. Mark has been into music since he was a teenager and also plays the bass guitar, guitar, and drums. Mark’s musical talents have led him play in several bands throughout the years: from rock and roll to country and now Christian rock! Besides his music, Mark enjoys riding motorcycles, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
Hire Date 2/12/2018 – Lucas is a father of two little girls. He has three dogs–a Lab, a Catahoula, and a Yorkie–and six chickens. He enjoys being outdoors, and especially enjoys spending his time hiking, fishing, and camping.
Hire Date 4/10/2017 – Adam is originally from Oregon. He’s into comics and video games. He enjoys the DC universe, and Superman is his favorite comic character. His all-time favorite video game is Destiny. Football is another one of his pastimes, and his favorite team is the New England Patriots.
Hire Date 4/15/2010 – Randy started his Continental Automotive Group career at Jaguar in 1990. After they sold that dealership, he moved over to First Texas Honda. Only 14 and a half short years later Randy decided to try other things, but after 5 years away, couldn’t resist coming back to our Austin Subaru location. He has spent most of his life as a tech, and loves fast cars. Mustangs have always won his heart, along with shooting and spending lots of time on his tractor out at the farm! He has worked for our company for a total of 20 years, and boy are we glad to have him.
Hire Date 8/1/2016 – Morgan enjoys working on cars, and this is his first time working for a dealership. When he’s not working, he also likes the outdoors, and 4-wheeling.
Hire Date 6/7/2016 – Zachary moved from Kansas to Austin in 2014 to be closer to the music scene. He’s a professional singer in the style of Gospel and RnB. In his free time, he likes outdoor activities such as hiking on the greenbelt. His favorite place in Austin is Barton Springs.

Hire Date 9/4/2017 – Katie is new to Austin–she and her husband moved here from Florida in 2017. Austin has been good to her so far, and she’s enjoying the vibe and the great food, bars, and live music. She has a French bulldog named Buddha. Katie used to be a ballerina, so she enjoys dancing. She’s also a big Philadelphia Eagles fan. Her husband is a chef, so she gets to eat well!

Hire Date 8/14/2007 – Chrystian hails from Zacatecas in Central Mexico and has lived in Austin since 2007. When asked what he likes most about Austin, Chrystian says the lakes and parks all around Austin. Chrystian is the oldest of four children and enjoys playing soccer with his two younger brothers. He also likes finding new applications to download for his android, but most of all, he enjoys spending time with his two kids and wife.
Hire Date 3/25/2013 – Walker, often referred to as the Golden Child, was born in Austin, but grew up in a town called Boerne, just outside of San Antonio. He recently moved back to Austin to be close to his cousin and best friend KevKev. This worked out pretty well for him, as it was his cousin that recommended him for the position due to their mutual love of things with engines. Walker was recently adopted by a needy little kitten that keeps him on his toes. If he could, he’d love to make a trip back to Japan to visit friends. It might be a little easier for him to take a trip to Canada though, as he is legally a United States and Canadian citizen.
Hire Date 6/18/2001 – Chris was born and raised Lockhart, Texas, and he fondly refers to it as LA (Lockhart Area). He first joined the Continental Automotive Group back in June of 2001. Chris’ hobbies include checking out classic cars, and doing things outdoors like gardening, kayaking, and biking. He is the youngest of 10 children, with family in Louisiana and Southern California. Thanks to two of his sisters living in Huntington Beach, it has become his ideal vacation spot between the perfect weather and time he has with his siblings. Chris recently moved to Bastrop, and is enjoying the country life. Now, he is beginning his dream: starting a mini farm! He plans to have a vegetable garden and will build a greenhouse to start his own plant nursery where he will grow agaves, plumerias, and many native Texas plants. Chris has 3 chickens, and 3 dogs (old, senile, Sparky the Terrier mutt, and brothers: Bear and Boudreaux, the unruly German Shepherd puppies). With the growth of his mini farm, he plans to add some Pygmy Goats, and a Miniature Donkey!

Hire Date 9/28/2015 – Frank is from Dilley, TX. He’s a Marine Corps vet and has worked in the car business for 25 years. He’s a foodie, and when he’s not working, he’s weight lifting, or reading.
Hire Date March 26, 2003 – Lynne was born in Newfoundland, Canada. Her father was in the Air Force so they moved often – lived in Massachusetts and Alexandria, Virginia before moving to San Antonio. Graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1972 & completing BBA at SWTSU in 1974 in 2.5 years, she then worked as an IRS Criminal Investigator and an investigator for Travis County District Attorney’s office investigating financial crimes. Lynne graduated #1 in her class from Federal Law Enforcement training and qualified as sharpshooter in firearms training. She was the first female Criminal Investigator in the Austin IRS offices. She started a CPA/Tax practice, until hired by a client – Maggie’s Heart of Texas Dodge where she worked for 10 years until they sold the dealership, and then came to work for Continental Automotive Group in 2003. Lynne comes from a large family. Her mother has 11 brothers & sisters, so she has 35 1st cousins, 2 sisters, and a brother. She is a proud mother of 2 grown children, Rachel & Richard. Lynne says “best time of my life was raising my kids.” Rachel has her MBA and Richard his BBA & completed firefighter certification. Lynne has an RV and loves to travel & go camping. Her first trip after retirement in a few years, she plans to go back to Newfoundland. Her parents are from upstate New York and she loves to visit there & hopes to spend her summers in the north and winters in Texas.
Hire Date 8/24/2015 – Ryan was found in a shed out back and we thought he would be good in the service department (that’s a joke; don’t worry, he’s properly trained and everything).
Hire Date 11/13/2017 – Hilary is originally from California, but moved to Texas 15 years ago. She enjoys volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, painting, and crafting! Her family, friends, and community are very important to her! She’s totally obsessed with her Siberian Husky, Apollo! She loves hockey, and her favorite team is the Colorado Avalanche. Her biggest pet peeve is people spelling her name wrong. She loves living in Austin and embracing its weird culture! She loves live music and being outdoors! She is super excited to be starting her journey with Austin Subaru!
Hire Date 4/20/2016 – Eric likes drag racing, shooting pool, and building and working on cars. He enjoys working on Subarus. He reached his goal of becoming a Subaru Master Certified Technician in 2018.
Hire Date 9/19/2016 – Erick decided to get into the car business based on the fact that he wanted to meet people of all different backgrounds, with all different personalities, from all kinds of different cultures – and hey, almost everyone drives, right? He also has a passion for sport bike motorcycles, lake fishing, and enjoys being outdoors as much as he can be. Erick would love to visit Paris someday – hopefully in the near future – as he thinks it would be a very interesting city to visit.

Hire Date 5/26/2016 – Cassandra has lived in California, Oregon, and Texas with a total of 11 years of living in the Austin area. While her first three years of college were spent playing volleyball, she decided to discontinue so that she may focus on her education. Cassandra’s favorite hobbies are drawing Disney characters and trying to be like Suzette.
Hire Date 8/7/2017 – Ashley moved to Austin in 2017 from a small town in Texas called Jasper. She’s looking forward to meeting new people and having new experiences. She is a dog lover and she enjoys attending festivals. Her current hobby is learning to play the cello.
Hire Date 7/2/2015 – Kumary was born in Miami, Florida, moved to Austin when she was 8, and was raised in Guatemala. She can speak both English and Spanish, which she says is very useful. She enjoys anything outdoors. Her favorite movie is The Dark Knight and her favorite food is pizza. Yellowstone has been her favorite place that she’s visited so far, and she says it had beautiful scenery and she loved the weather.
Hire Date 8/29/2016 – Dustin was born in San Antonio and lived in Pflugerville and Boerne growing up. He moved to Austin in 2016. In his spare time, he likes playing challenging or competitive video games and puzzles, and watching TV series online with his friends. He likes to tell people that his favorite movie is Spiderman 3, mainly because of the reaction it gets from his friend and fellow IT person, Walker. His favorite grocery aisle is… not. It’s Amazon Prime. One day, he would like to visit Germany and the Netherlands to enjoy the scenery.
Hire Date 7/6/2015 – Chelsea would first like everyone to know how sassy she is. She thinks it’s the most important fact that you should know about her. She has a pit bull named Titanium Wilbert. She likes the outdoors (in a sassy way), and enjoys hiking, kayaking, hunting, and fishing. Her other favorite pastime is harassing her coworker Melissa Holman, and giving lots of sass to the office in general. She also likes fashion. She fully endorses Austin Subaru’s charity event for Austin Pets Alive!, Paddle for Puppies, and gives it 5 sassy stars, would recommend. She’s excited to say that she bought her first Subaru recently (a Crosstrek). She also wants everybody to know that just because she’s in Austin, that doesn’t mean she’s a Longhorn fan. Her team is Texas Tech. When asked if she had any thing else she would like to share, she said “Just make sure you show my sassiness.”
Hire Date 9/21/2016 – Rosa is from Austin, and her favorite part about living here is walking along Lady Bird Lake. She enjoys relaxing at home and watching Japanese animation. She also has taken up sketching, and learning to sew in her free time.
Hire Date 2/14/1989 – Our one-of-a-kind HR gal was born in Arkansas but got to Texas as quick as she could! Sheri has two wonderful daughters, four adorable granddaughters, 2 grand-dogs, and 1 crazy cat, Fred. If she could live anywhere, it would be along a coastline so that she could relax on the beach with her feet in the sand. Sheri offices out of our flagship store and says her dream car is a convertible. With over 700 employees group-wide now, Sheri’s a busy girl but never too busy to keep our CAG crew cared for; it’s what she does best!
Hire Date 10/04/12 – Isaac was born in Greenbay, WI, and yes, he is a Packers fan and owner, as are his kids. He has lived in San Diego, Phoenix, Virginia, Philly, D.C., Delaware and Maryland. In the fall of 2004 he met the woman who would become his wife on a campaign trip to Beaumont, TX. After spending the summer of 2005 in Maryland, his wife could no longer stand to be away from the Great State of Texas. That fall, his family moved to her hometown of Beaumont with the intent of coming to Austin in a year for Isaac to pursue graduate studies at UT. Hurricane Rita upped that timetable and the family came to Austin in January 2006. Isaac found that, opposite of what he was told, public transportation here is pretty much non-existent, so he decided to look for work where the cars are. His family is everything to him and he feels blessed to have a wonderful wife, three beautiful children, two rescued dogs (Wubby and BO-C), three rescued cats (Piper, Odamae, and Scampi), and one rabbit who is black, but is named Gray Bunny. Isaac is the only non-native Texan in his family but did get here as soon as he could.

Hire Date 12/29/2017 – Hannah is originally from Mansfield, TX, and she and her fiancee decided to try a new adventure in Austin. She has a lab named Maggie. In Hannah’s spare time, she enjoys singing, playing guitar, and restoring vintage furniture.

Hire Date 3/1/2013 – Cindy grew up in Corpus Christi, studied at Del Mar College, joined the US Navy, then ventured into the skies to be a flight attendant. She currently lives in Georgetown, TX with her husband Jeff, their awesome daughter Alexis and three high energy Weimaraners! To unwind, Cindy enjoys running, swimming, hosting any kind of a party, and wishes to play tennis more than time currently permits.
Hire Date 8/15/20217 – Jay is a happy and fun guy who was born and raised in Austin. He often keeps himself busy entertaining his seven grandkids. He’s an avid camper and enjoys outdoor sports. The endless supply of live music is his favorite part about living in Austin.

Hire Date 5/21/2018 – Lucas was born in San Jose, California, but has lived in many different places before he ended up in Austin. He enjoys hunting, writing mystery and fantasy stories, and working on cars. He also has a freshwater aquarium with discus fish.
Hire Date 2/17/1984 – Genny was born and raised in Austin, and after earning her degree in Finance and Spanish at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, she returned to Austin to work in investment banking. After two years, she decided to join the family business and has split her time between several of our dealerships. Genny enjoys spending time with her teddy bear of a husband, sweet baby James, and their three dogs. You might recognize her, she’s the girl jogging around the neighborhood, pushing a stroller with one hand and holding two dogs with the other. Her favorite thing in life is James, who comes to the dealership with her almost everyday and loves to smile at everyone that stops by their office to say hi.
Hire Date 9/8/2015 – James’ first day on the job was just one week after being born, making him Continental Automotive Group’s youngest employee ever. He’s been voted “Cutest Employee Ever” and get’s his daily dose of caffeine at Austin Subaru’s coffee bar. Now that James has been accepted to preschool, his presence has decreased, but he still attends monthly management meetings to stay up-to-date on dealership operations. He’ll be the one sweeping the floors, pulling parts and detailing cars during his teens. So say hi!
Hire Date 2/17/1984 – Left. Joy, a sought-after companion, enjoys a good crossword puzzle and late evening walks on the Lions Municipal Golf Course with her two puppies, Ellie and Charlie. As one half of the team that joined the Continental Automotive Group on February 17, 1984, Joy has 25 years of automotive industry know-how. Hire Date 7/8/2016 – Lily Geneva Hardeman is 18 months old and is named after her great grandmother Geneva Hardeman. She loves to spend time with her family, including her cousins James and Margot, and her dog Nash. She likes to swim, play with her toys, go for walks in the neighborhood, play along when “dada” (Will) plays the guitar or piano, and drink milk. Lily enjoys cruising around the dealership, saying hello to everyone, and getting snacks at the coffee bar.

Hire Date 7/18/1981 – William B. is an Austin recreationalist: an avid cyclist, triathlete, competitive skier, and outdoorsman who enjoys all the air, land, and water that Austin has to offer. These activities have made William B. more in tune with local environmental issues, and in his construction and development focus at the Continental Automotive Group, William B. brings with him a strong commitment to preserving Austin’s natural beauty. He is excited about the local expansion of the Subaru brand and thinks that it’s a perfect match for the people of Austin. William B. grew up in west Austin and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
Hire Date 2/20/2017 – Brandon grew up in the Austin hill country. He enjoys fixing cars, and in his free time, he likes hanging out with his wife and playing pinball.
Hire Date 1/10/2017 – Andre was born and raised in Austin. He’s happily married to his beautiful wife, since 2007. When he’s not working, he enjoys watching sports.
Hire Date 9/21/2016 – Sean is an interesting character. He loves all things about the art of cinematography, photography, and digital media. Cinema rules his world! He can talk movies for days. Sean is a big car enthusiast and some of his favorites are the Subaru STI and the BMW M3. In his free time, Sean enjoys the outdoors. Whether that be playing basketball, soccer, or BMX’ing! He also enjoys filming BMX and skate videos with his friends. Sean’s music library ranges from Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd to Wu-Tang and everything in between. Sean moved to Austin from Orlando, FL in 2013. He worked at Disney World and Universal Studios while he lived in Florida, and considered it a great experience of meeting new people from all different parts of the world, while they’re having the time of their life! One of the most valuable experiences of his life was the time he spent working as a volunteer firefighter and EMT before moving to Austin. He vacationed with his friends in Breckenridge, CO for a trip filled with snowboarding and fun, and someday, Sean would love to go backpacking through South America!

Hire Date 3/15/2016 – William was born and raised in New York. The weather is what brought him to Austin, and so far, he really likes the food and the friendly people. He has been with Subaru since 2008, so he is happy to have found a place here on our team. He enjoys what he does, so in his time off, you can find him working on cars.
Hire Date 7/27/2015 – The name Kegan is of Celtic origin, meaning small and fiery. Props to Mom on that one; she nailed it. Kegan spent his childhood destroying other children in Taekwondo, rebelling against his parents in an angsty teenage skater phase, and somehow simultaneously as an avid member of the stereotypical ‘nerd’ groups, such as Robotic Design, NHS, and Band Leadership. Originally from small town, Texas, he ventured to Austin in 2014 and does not plan on leaving anytime soon. Over the years, he has taught himself the trumpet and guitar. “There is something to be heard in the spaces between spaces…” he said when asked about his love for music. “It’s the reason that music can seem reminiscent in nature to someone, even if they’ve never heard it before.”
Hire Date 10/6/2015 – Scott was born in Corpus Christi. He grew up in Spring, TX and moved to Austin in 2004. He’s a huge hockey fan (Go Dallas Stars!!!) and has been playing for about 15 years. He loves music as well, and has been playing drums for 10 years, and guitar for the last couple years. He has a pitbull named Lady (short for Ladybug). He considers himself pretty outgoing and thinks his sense of humor is pretty decent. If he were to visit anywhere, it would be Vancouver, BC. Mystery movies are his favorite genre to watch, and his favorite movie is Alaska. He owns his own Subaru, so he thought Austin Subaru would be the perfect place for him to be.

Hire Date 4/18/16 – Chris is looking for a new home. Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Chris realized that he had seen enough of the city by the sea. He was lucky enough to have an opportunity to relocate from another dealership, where he was the GM, to Austin Subaru, where he serves as Service Director. When asked what he loves about the automotive industry? He answered, “That there are still companies like CAG out there.” Chris has a beautiful and supportive wife, Dedra, and 3 wonderful children. He enjoys spending time with his family at their fishing cabin on Baffin Bay and hunting South Texas.
Hire Date 4/19/2016 – Cynthia has lived in Austin since she was 2 months old. She has one daughter and four grandchildren who all live in Ohio. Her favorite place is Garner State Park. In her free time, she enjoys playing bingo.
Hire Date 6/3/2013 – Eddie Hummel moved to Austin recently to promote his aspiring underground grindcore band “Subierubieroo”, where his stage name is All Wheel Drive Edwin. He is the self proclaimed #1 Subaru fan (a hotly-contested title) and will stop at nothing to defend that honor. An interesting fact about Eddie is he once threw a puppy to safety during a nearly tragic San Francisco Touristy Trolley mishap in which he lost his pinky toe. He even has the battle scars to prove it! If anyone should know one thing about Eddie, it would be that he looks smashing in hats. Eddie’s hobbies are breakfast, lunch, and dinner – often all at once.

Hire Date 7/30/2016 – Salvador is a car enthusiast; he’s especially drawn to the design and mechanics aspect of them. He has a cat named Archer, named after the international super spy. He likes sports, and his favorite football team is the Dallas Cowboys. He also likes music, and enjoys anything with a good beat.
Hire Date 5/16/2018 – Keyomi is an Austinite, born and raised here. Currently, he’s an A&M student majoring in Business Management. He’s a multi-talented musician, and plays the mellophone, percussions, ukulele, and bass guitar. Baseball is another one of his favorite pastimes.
Hire Date 2/8/2016 – Fouad grew up in Ahmadi City, Kuwait. He is proud of where he came from and the person he has become. He says he his satisfied with everything he has accomplished in life, and when he’s not working, he is spending time with his family. He loves to cook for family and friends, and his favorite food is Sea and Middle Eastern food. In the summer, he likes to travel and explore the world. He likes baseball, and his favorite team is the Yankees. The best place he’s ever visited is Turkey, and one day he would like to visit Jerusalem.

Hire Date 10/23/2017 – Jake moved to Austin from Seattle, and enjoys the friendliness, the music, the water, and the vast amounts of things to do here. He has a rescue dog named Seager who he likes to take out to the lake. Jake enjoys sports, especially baseball, and has an affinity for classic cars. He has a vast record collection, mostly consisting of old country and classic rock.

Hire Date 7/25/2016 – Rebecca was born in Houston, TX and raised in Bloomington, IN. Go Hoosiers! She graduated from the University of Evansville with her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management in 2014. She made it back to Texas that year and does not plan on leaving anytime soon. As a result of growing up playing basketball, volleyball, and softball, Rebecca is naturally competitive and driven in the workplace. She adds an additional enthusiasm to the Macho Marketing team and is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about social media practices. Rebecca is also the provider of endless belly rubs to her brother-and-sister family adopted dogs, Kenny and Chesney.
Hire Date 1/27/11 – Forrest (previous mentioned above in Austin’s bio) has two cars, an Impreza 2.5RS and a 1982 turbocharged 280Z that he races and attempts to drift (all in due time Forrest, all in due time). His daily driver, the Impreza, is named Scooby, and his race car, the 280Z, is called Snoopy (because it’s black and white). This dear mentee of Austin is excited to learn ‘the ways of drifting.’ He’s heard a lot about Austin and his reputation and is honored to be under his wing. Forrest is a true Subaru fan, he even has the tattoo on his back to prove it. And he is NOT afraid of the color pink! His dream color combination just so happens to be hot pink with black. Forrest is working toward his business degree in order to accomplish his lifelong goal of owning his own performance shop. Forrest is daring, not afraid to try new things, and is better than Austin at everything.
Hire Date 6/28/2017 – Lauren comes from a big Subaru family. Every member of her family owns one! Lauren likes to spend her free time watching and critiquing scary movies, and also baking. She enjoys the outdoors with friends. She has a French bulldog named Raedyn.

Hire Date 3/16/2007 – Lee has an amazing 24 plus years of experience in the car industry. Originally from Bellaire, Texas, Lee moved up to Austin over ten years ago and is sold on the Central Texas quality of life. He has been married to his wife Victoria for more than 20 years and describes her as “the best looking brunette in town.” Lee, Victoria, and their three children are outdoor people who enjoy floating the river during the summer months. Lee recently started golfing more often but has chosen not to include his handicap in this bio.

Hire Date 8/21/2017 – Clayton was born and raised in the San Antonio area, and moved to Austin in February 2016. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games on his PS4 and sometimes his PC. He’s really looking forward to Destiny 2! Clayton used to spend a fair amount of time bouldering (indoor rock climbing) at places like Austin Bouldering Project and Crux Climbing Center. His top goal on his bucket list is to go to space, but not as an astronaut, and have “crazy amounts of money” is a close second. You could say that they go hand-in-hand. FUN FACT: Clayton can type out the first 101 numbers of Pi – from memory!
Hire Date 10/9/2007 – For the past six plus years Antonia has used her talents to keep the Subaru showroom beautiful. Antonia has lived in Austin for over 14 years and has been married to her husband Noe for 15 years. Antonia and Noe, who works at another one of our CAG locations, have a son in elementary school and a teenage daughter. On the weekends Antonia will spend time in the park and go out to clubs to dance. The family also enjoys traveling to Mexico to visit their relatives.

Hire Date 11/27/17 – Joseph was born and raised in Austin. He has two kids who he enjoys spending most of his time with. In his spare time, he likes working on cars and watching F1 racing. He doesn’t have a dog yet, but he is currently looking for one, and he has the name “Subie” ready for them when he finds them. Since driving his first Subaru, Joseph was completely sold on the brand, and he says he will never drive anything else.

He is originally from Cullman, Alabama and has been loving this beautiful city of Austin since he got out of the Army in 2003. The happiest moment of his life was the birth of his twins, Isa and Manu. A few things Jeremy loves: Bacon, Barton Springs, Bacon, and the Might Boosh, and Bacon.

Hire Date 9/16/2014 -Adam has lived in Austin, Texas since he was in the 4th grade moving here from Shreveport, Louisiana, where he was born. He says he has the most beautiful girlfriend in the world, Hannah, and considers himself very lucky to have her especially since he is not that great looking (maybe her eyesight is not that good). They love doing activities outside and just recently started Kayaking and would love advice on where to go for a real adventure. He has been fascinated with cars as long as he can remember. When not selling a Subaru he attends car shows, reads about cars, details cars and talks about cars. He would love to be a race car driver but since that hasn’t worked out he loves selling his favorite “real” automobile the Subaru. Hire Date 4/11/2006 – A native to Austin, Roger went to school and raised his family of two sons and two daughters here. His favorite person/wife, Lisa, is an author of ghost stories and loves haunted things. He has been in the Subaru community since 1999 and is proud to say his sister, mother, and wife all drive Subarus. Roger is currently driving a vintage Baja. Mr. Matthews is very active in his church community and loves to read. His favorite color is green and his favorite place to visit is Edinburgh, Scotland. Roger loves to go on trails with his dog Geordie and loves to take day trips and entertain friends and family.

Hire Date 8/18/2014 – Micah McCurdy is a proud father of two daughters. He is originally from Denver, but he fell in love with Austin and he and his wife decided it was a great place to raise their kids. Micah has worked for Subaru since 2010. He loves riding BMX at the Pflugerville skate park. On Sunday mornings he makes breakfast for his family, cinnamon rolls and scrambled eggs, a fine tradition indeed! He loves dill pickles and puts them on everything.
Hire Date 2/1/2017 – DeAnna is originally from Lockhart, TX. She makes a long commute from San Marcos, where she currently lives. She’s married and enjoys writing poetry, listening to music, and spending time with family.
Hire Date 7/22/2013 – Jason is a native Alabamian who made his way to Austin back in 2004. He has been an Auburn fan since he was 5 years old. He is a recent newlywed. His wife, Melissa, made him the luckiest man alive in November 2014. He is an animal lover through and through, and hopes to one day own some property out of town where he and his wife can have a small community of animals. She doesn’t know about that dream, so please don’t mention it if you see her. He is particularly fond of their dog “Pullo” and their enormous cat “Bruce.” He tries to get back to Alabama to see family occasionally, but Austin is his true love. What he likes the best about the car business is that nowadays it is constantly changing.

Hire Date 10/31/2001 – Joy grew up in Greenview, Illinois, population 750, and came to the University of Texas in 1979. She has one daughter and has been married for many years. ‘To the same guy,’ she adds. Her family is a Boxer family, and their current dog is their third in this breed. She is a dedicated Longhorn fan, evidenced in the burnt orange FX35 and the season tickets. Her favorite player of all time is Earl Campbell. And she is an Aquarius.
Hire Date 10/1/2015 – Susan is well-travelled, thanks to a previous employment; her favorite place, which she would love to return to one day, was Hawaii. She originally hails from Philly, and she remains loyal to its sports teams. Her personal favorite is hockey, and of course, the Philadelphia Flyers. When she’s not working, she enjoys watching documentaries and live music of all kinds.
Hire Date 8/3/2000 – A long time veteran of Austin Subaru, Billy is the second highest rated Subaru technician in the United States. Billy remembers seeing the 1992 Subaru SVX and falling in love with the car maker. However, it is the cars’ dependability that has kept him hooked. Billy encourages customers to test drive their Subarus in bad weather and says that, if you keep oil and water in a Subaru, it will run forever. Billy currently owns five Subarus and has also given them to both his parents and children. Billy and his wife Keri were married over seven years ago in the famous Little White Wedding Chapel on the Las Vegas strip. They have two children and live on fives acres in Copeland with their horse, Big Dog. Billy has been known to drive his riding lawnmower to the local convenience store.* * video coming soon. Billy has many certifications including: ASE Master Technician, ASE L1 Certified, and Sr. Master Subaru Technician. Billy participated in the 2007 Subaru National Technician Competition and took 2nd place, and he also participated in the same competition in 2011, where he won and moved on to the 2011 Subaru International Technician Competition held in Japan, where he took 4th place!
Hire Date 9/19/2016 – Brittany originally went to school for Psychology with the hopes of working with children, but later decided she would rather pursue a career where she could interact with more people of different backgrounds. She found that she could do just that in the automotive business! She also studied Spanish, and someday, she would love to visit Spain, highlighting Barcelona and Madrid, to experience the Latin culture and some of that amazing cuisine! Brittany and her fiancé share their home/zoo with 3 dogs and 3 cats, who are all named after horror and scifi characters!

Hire Date 8/22/2016 – Tony was born and raised in Austin, and comes to Austin Subaru with an Airforce background. He was a cop in the Airforce and he thoroughly enjoyed his time as such, and especially loved the month he spent in England. Tony has an adorable Corgi named Cecil, who had the name was before the famous lion did, but is none-the-less fierce! Tony also has a degree in Media Arts and Animation, and he enjoys spending some time getting to create 2D cartoons!
Hire Date 8/13/2015 – Jillian is an energetic, quirky person who loves to spend her free time going to concerts, watching horror movies, and spending time with her daughter. She spent 7 years managing a pottery studio in Round Rock, which she grew to love. Jillian has two wonderful “furbies” Bagheera, her black cat and Freya her papillion mix. She also has an 11 year old Crested Gecko named Gustav, and a Corn Snake called Cain.
Hire Date 7/4/2016 – Jackie was born and raised in Wheaton, Illinois. She has a chihuahua mix and golden retriever puppy that take up most of her time on the weekends. In her free time, Jackie enjoys sudoku, hiking, watching movies, and anything to do with dogs!

If it’s sports related he is into it! When Ricardo was 15 he had a kidney transplant. These days he’s as fit as can be!

Hire Date 5/2/2017 – John was born in Germany into a military family and lived at various locations across the country until he finally moved to Austin in 2011, seeking better climate and culture. He enjoys finding all of the different great places here in Austin to dine and listen to live music. John has two cats named after Breaking Bad characters, but loves your dog and encourages you to bring him or her to the dealership with you when you come for your new Subaru!

Hire Date 6/6/2017 – Karl grew up just outside of Cape Cod, MA. He played hockey growing up, which eventually allowed him to play on travel teams in Upstate New York and Minnesota. After this, he attended the University of Massachusetts Boston where he studied English and Media Communications. While attending school he became interested in video production, and began directing his university’s athletics broadcast. As his passion for video production grew, so did his love for travel. He graduated in spring of 2016 and backpacked around Europe before returning with a plan to move to Austin to become a videographer. He and his girlfriend Catherine traveled south, where they eventually adopted their pit bull named Lola. His love for hockey still sticks with him as he coaches children in Austin on his days off.
Hire Date 10/12/2015 – Clayton got his first job when he was 16, working in his grandfather’s sawmill. Not exactly the most common start for someone who wood later move into IT, but we at CAG are thrilled to our roots that he decided to branch out and leaf that life behind him. After logging countless hours on his personal machine, Clayton moved into the IT field. He started with just a few relatives, but quickly became the go-to computer guy for his entire family tree. Even his old-fashioned grandfather saw the need for someone with his command of the information logging road we call “The Internet,” and gave him the oakay to follow his passion! Clayton is a model IT technician. When we put him on a project, he never stops forest until he’s finished and is rarely completely stumped.

Hire Date 4/8/2016 – Sunny was born and raised in New Orleans and moved to Austin after Hurricane Katrina. He says his favorite part about Austin is the lakes. In his spare time, he likes spending time with his son Everest. He also enjoys basketball, and the Spurs are his favorite team. The New Orleans Saints, of course, are his favorite football team.

Hire Date 8/13/2015 – Jeff was born and raised in Southern California. In 2015, he decided it was time for a change of scenery and a career doing what he loves in marketing and design. In his free time, he loves going to the movies, going to comedy clubs, discovering new music, and taking his greyhound, Kiowa, to cool dog parks around Austin. He is proud to be part of the CAG family.
Hire Date 1/22/1990 – Alex is a proud father of six children and happily married to his wife! But his family count doesn’t stop at eight, you can also add two dogs to the mix! He is a Boy Scout leader and is very proud of the fact he has been with the company for 25 years!
Hire Date 10/9/2007 – Ricardo is originally from Santa Rosa de Lima, a small town in eastern El Salvador. Ricardo has lived in Austin for more than eight years and says that he and his family enjoy it much more than Houston, although they often return to Houston to visit relatives. Ricardo and his wife have two teenagers, a son and a daughter. Ricardo’s hobbies include fishing and other outdoor activities, and he likes to take weekend camping trips with his family. Ricardo enjoys family vacations to Schlitterbahn and says that they have a great time.
Hire Date 1016/2014 – Craig was born in San Antonio, Texas and moved to Austin, Texas in 2007. In his spare time he enjoys playing games, camping, hiking, grilling and learning new things. His favorite movie is “Guardians of the Galaxy”. If he could meet anyone ever it would be Carl Sagan. His favorite celebrity is Neil deGrasse Tyson. He has a Pembroke Welsh Corgi named Einstein who is 6 years old. His dream car is a 2001 Nissan Skyline GTR R34. He is truly thrilled to be servicing the Subaru and be part of our team making our customers happy.
Hire Date 11/14/16 – John moved from Hawaii to Austin in 2016. He enjoys spending time outdoors hiking on parks and trails. His hobby is downhill skateboarding.
Hire Date 4/25/2015 – Morgan is a U.S. Navy veteran. He’s a Subaru owner and driver and his love for Subarus is what motivated him into being a part of Austin Subaru. Morgan was born and raised in Austin. He spends most of his time golfing or playing with his dog, “Dexter.”
Hire Date 4/2/2007 – Originally from El Salvador, Daniel has lived in Austin for over 12 years. He appreciates the small-town feel of the city and all the fun activities that Austin has to offer. Daniel has more than five years of experience working on Subarus and describes the cars as nice and easy to fix. When not working in the Service Department, you can find Daniel on the soccer field playing for his team, Liverpool.
Hire Date 9/11/2017 – Daryll was born in Cuba and grew up in Austin. He’s an outgoing person who has been in the car business for 11 years. When not working, he enjoys basketball, football (his favorite team is the Cowboys), and dancing. He’s also a big fan of music. Traveling is one of his passions, and choosing his favorite place is a tough call for him, but he would have to say New Orleans; he enjoyed the food, people, and the culture the city had to offer.

Hire Date 2/1/2017 – Masha was born in Moscow, Russia, moved to Austin when she was 6 years old. Over the years, she’s fallen in love with the city and could not imagine anywhere else to call home. From a young age, her mom instilled a love of travel in her. She’s been to 12 countries and counting, most notably the 4 months she spent studying abroad in Spain and more recently, 2 months backpacking in Thailand and Cambodia. She attended the University of Texas and still enjoys cheering on the Longhorns, especially at tailgates with friends. She loves animals and hopes to one day get an Australian Shepherd or a poodle mix, but until then she periodically fosters through Austin Pets Alive. In her free time, she loves attending concerts, finding new brunch spots with her friends, and when it’s warm, spending the day swimming at the Greenbelt.

Hire Date 06/01/2010 – Jackie was born in California where she soon ended her west coast fun to be in Austin, TX. She has a dog named Bandit that she likes to take on walks. She enjoys the produce section at the grocery store and going to local pubs and farmers markets! If she won the lottery she would give Sheri money and pay off all of her expenses. Her dream car is an old school Shelby Mustang. She hates doing laundry but enjoys beef fajitas and her step dad’s home cooking. She aspires to one day visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame in North Carolina. With Jackie’s good looks, she often gets mistaken for Popeye’s girlfriend, Olive Oyl. She found her place at Mercedes-Benz of Austin by the fabulous Craigslist and has gone uphill from there! Hire Date 4/17/2017 – Sophie was born and raised in Germany, and has also lived in Florida and Grand Rapids, Michigan. She moved to Austin in 2017. She has a cat named Arya, named after the character in Game of Thrones. In her spare time, Sophie enjoys baking all kinds of bread and cookies. Opening up a German cafe some day that features her baking skills is her dream.
Hire Date 2/1/17 – Antonio moved to Austin from Sacramento in 2010, and he considers it his second home. He also started out working in dealerships in 2010, and worked his way up from porter to tech before finally found his way to Austin Subaru. In his spare time, he enjoys spirited driving.
Hire Date 4/17/2017 – Brandon is a tall fellow whose hobby is fitness. He also enjoys working on cars–he enjoys learning as much as he can about them. He spends his free time hanging out with friends, and is also lucky enough to get to work with them as well.
Hire Date 5/1/2017 – Sean was born in Long Beach, and raised in Tampa, FL. He has two pets: one cat, and one dog. One of his hobbies is restoring old cars with his dad. The other is long-boarding, which he got to do a lot while living in Florida.
Hire Date 1/16/2006 – A country girl from Mt. Pleasant, Ashley moved to Austin to play softball for St. Edward’s University. After graduation, she continued playing softball in slow pitch leagues. Ashley has been with Continental Automotive Group since 2006, and has enjoyed being part of a company that cares. In her free time, she loves getting out to go fishing and hunting, and someday, she would love to travel to beautiful, Alaska!
Hire Date 8/3/2010 – Glenda came from Midland, Texas to live in Austin, a second time, in the summer of 2000. Glenda has worked in the car business for more than 10 years in the Service Department, where she managed the service office and was the assistant to the service manager. Her family includes her husband of over 34 years, 3 grown children, and 7 fabulous grandchildren. Relaxation on the weekends is all about visiting local points of interests, going to a movie, trying out a new restaurant or just staying at home reading the latest novel.

Hire Date 11/4/2015 – Yelena was born in Odessa, Ukraine. At four years old, she and her family moved to Portland, Maine, where she was raised. She decided she needed a change in environment, so she and her boyfriend moved to Austin. They made a road trip of it and made a stop in Savannah, GA, which she says is her favorite place she’s visited so far. One day, she would like to say that her favorite place is England or Italy! Together, she and her boyfriend have a tiny 6 lb. orange tabby named Pig. In her spare time, she loves going to the movies, trying new restaurants and painting. Hire Date 8/1/2013 – Danny was born in Brownsville, Texas to a large, loving family. He moved to Austin in 1998. He has 4 older brothers and one older sister. His parents were great in instilling love of family in him since day one, and for that reason he has a very close, tight knit family. Danny is married to a wonderful, beautiful, smart, funny, and talented wife named Shannon who also happens to be his best friend. They have two daughters, Ivy and Olive, who are also very smart and beautiful! He also has a cat named Chazz and a dog named Scooter. Danny loves to do outdoor activities and would one day love to go backpacking across Europe.

Hire Date 2/5/2016 – Jonathan is from Newport News, Virginia, and moved to Austin in 2015. He and his wife have a dog named Georgie. In his spare time, Jonathan enjoys modifying his WRX. He also likes video games, and sports games are his favorite.
Hire Date coming soon! – Alex moved to Austin from Boise, Idaho, and so far really enjoys the music scene and the food trucks. She is currently attending ACC for Dental Hygiene. Back home, she has a miniature Dachshund named Itty Bitty. She enjoys hiking and exploring Austin in her free time.
Hire Date 10/4/2017 – Jake moved to Austin from Dallas in October 2017. He says it’s hotter here than he thought it would be, but is enjoying the hiking areas and creeks that Austin has to offer. Other than hiking, he enjoys hockey, adventuring with his dog Sadie, and playing the drums.
Hire Date 3/12/2018 – Joseph is originally from Fort Worth. He enjoys spending time with family and playing pool and basketball.
Hire Date 3/2/2016 – Cody’s dream came true when he was able to come to work at Austin Subaru. He had an inside advantage since his mother, Kathy, is Subaru’s sales assistant. Cody was born in 1998 and raised in Austin, Texas and has never left and plans on staying here forever. His inspiration to be involved in the auto industry, in addition to his mother,came from his infatuation with his favorite car. In his free time he enjoys hanging with his best friend playing video games or watching his favorite sports team the A&M football team. He absolutely loves his two dogs a 2 year old and the other is just a puppy.
Hire Date 4/13/13 – Kathy Swenson was born in Okinawa, Japan and moved to Texas when she was 15 years old. She grew up in North Austin where she still resides. Kathy has 3 children and has been married to her husband for 17 years. Kathy has one grandson and a granddaughter that will arrive in August of this year. When not at work, Kathy spends her time with her family attending soccer games and participating in the mowing business that her husband and children started 7 years ago. She became part of the Subaru family because Alli Walker told her about the position. Kathy is so thankful for this truly fabulous job.
Hire Date 7/5/2017 – Jeff has lived in Austin for his entire life, aside from that one time when he was born in Arizona. He likes board games, card games, and video games. He’s a soccer fan and a Liverpool F.C. supporter. So far, he’s been to Vietnam, Thailand, and Cambodia, and one day, he’d like to visit Europe.
Hire Date 12/15/2017 – Darren was born and raised in Austin. In his spare time he enjoys fishing and live music. He has two kids in baseball who he enjoys watching play at games. He has a 90lb yellow lab named Chop and a German Shepard named Maxi.
Hire Date 1/12/2015 – RJ was born in California and moved to Texas at the age of 11. When he isn’t elbows deep in a motor, he loves spending time with his family. He has a precious daughter and a wonderful wife. They also have 2 dogs, a boxer and a miniature schnauzer. You can find them hanging out at any of the parks and lakes around Austin, or at car meets. RJ’s favorite football team is the Cowboys, but when it comes to basketball, he has to root for the Lakers! His taste buds also lead him in several different directions; His favorite foods are sushi and Mexican cuisine.
Hire Date 8/16/2013 – Tabitha has an incredibly colorful past. She previously taught English in Japan before she found her true calling in alternative dance public performance art. Tabitha found her way to Austin only by chance after her struggles on the road left her traveling dance troupe stranded in south Austin. The Co-op group disbanded over monetary issues as the market at the time wasn’t ready for the wildly wicked moves of the underground dance revolution. Tabitha prevailed by becoming a vegan (something she claims gives her super powers) and focusing her vegan chi into clothing design with an emphasis on salon management. Tabitha quickly became a powerful downtown socialite in the early 2000’s, but she resigned from the lifestyle stating, “I’ve gotta quit the scene before the scene quits me.” Wise words. We’re happy that Tabitha decided to settle down as part of the Austin Subaru family. Tabitha’s favorite anecdote is the time she overdosed on vitamin B12 and pushed over a local vegan food truck in a flushed fit of nutritionally enhanced rage – Tabitha recalls their customer service was, “entirely and utterly tragic.” The owner of the truck is now out of business. He has made a full recovery with no plans to reopen citing, “fear of retribution.”
Hire Date 5/16/2000 – Noelia is a Virgo, so she doesn’t lie and she doesn’t embellish. A consummate accountant, she is from Robstown, Texas, graduated from Texas State, and has lived in Austin for nine years. She works out regularly and describes her style as straightforward. She takes the TV show Ghost Whisperer quite seriously and is overcoming an unfounded fear of non-physical spirits.
Hire Date: 8/29/2013 – Juaquin started his interesting life in the grand Metropolis of Dallas, Texas but quickly moved to Round Mountain, Texas. There he grew up on a turkey ranch where he recollects a lifestyle of peace and quiet except for Thanksgiving. Then the happiest time of his life occurred when he graduated from high school. Juaquin worked at McDonalds restaurant for a period of time then helped his father in the concrete business until he decided to attend automotive school to become a technician. That skill is what led him to Austin Subaru. When not on the job, he passes the time drawing (a true artist at heart), lifting weights and anything that keeps him busy. Now he is busy getting his life together and making better choices to move toward a better future.

Hire Date coming soon! – Don is a three-time Subaru owner (2013 Outback, 2004 Forester, and 2017 Legacy) born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He’s lived in the Austin area since the early 80’s. His hobbies are aquaponics and beekeeping. He and his wife keep themselves busy with nine kids, twelve grandkids, two dogs, two cats, and two chickens.

Hire Date 4/2/2015 – Emily was born and raised in Austin only briefly living in Waco while attending Baylor University. She loves animals of all species owning multiple cats, a Lab named Tippy, a Uromastyx named Remus and a 75 gallon fish tank. In her free time, Emily loves to curl up with a good book, play video games and spending time with her family.
Hire Date 6/7/2018 – Noemy is from Houston and moved to Austin in August of 2016 to study Economics at UT. She likes having so many food choices here, and is constantly taste testing to see which city’s food scene she prefers. Noemy spends most of her free time studying, and her favorite place to do so is at Mozart’s. Someday, Noemy would like to travel the world, starting with South America, and also has a bit of an adrenaline seeking-side. She can’t wait to go zip-lining and skydiving!
Hire Date 6/5/2017 – Ethan moved to Austin 11 years ago from Waco. His first car was a Subaru, and he liked it so much that it’s a major reason why he now works here. He’s an avid soccer fan; he both plays and enjoys watching games. His favorite team Liverpool. He also enjoys Austin’s greenbelts and parks, and he often takes his two dogs, Joey and Archer, out to explore them.
Hire Date 3/31/2011 – Alli has 2 beautiful dogs named Luna and Eevee, and by proxy through her soon-to-be husband Craig Ritchie, a corgi named Einstein. She’s a published illustrator, an enjoys gardening, sewing, and reading. Volunteering is her favorite pastime; she plants trees with Tree Folks, helps out at Austin Subaru’s charity event for Austin Pets Alive!, Paddle for Puppies, and did tours for Funky Chicken Coop. She and Craig plan on doing lots of traveling, camping, and attending Renaissance festivals in the future.
Hire Date 2/9/2017 – Stetson is an original Austinite with a degree in Institutional Management from Texas Tech University. He enjoys spending time outdoors, wake surfing at Lake Austin, and exploring all the restaurants Austin has to offer. His favorite is Hopdoddy Burger Bar. The island of Saint Martin is number one on his list of favorite places he’s been; he visited the island while on a family vacation and was blown away by it. He learned of Subaru by chance, and the more he learned about them, the more impressed he became with the brand.
Hire Date 7/8/2016 – Chris is from Amarillo, TX. Fun fact: he went to the same high school as our General Manager, Brent Baker. He has a degree in Music from West Texas A&M, and an internship for music brought him here to Austin. Incidentally, he also met his wife here! Together, they have an Australian Shepard dog named Obi, and they enjoy going to all the shows that Austin’s music scene has to offer.

Hire Date 9/7/2017 – Gavin moved from New Mexico to Austin in September of 2016. He’s a car and sports enthusiast, and was glad to be able to turn his hobby into his daily job. Gavin has an affinity for animals and has two dogs of his own.
Hire Date 11/27/2006 – This photo is from Jesse’s earlier days, when he was the hard partying and wildly talented drummer in the world famous heavy metal band Mania. Incidentally, it was about that time and a result of those skills that earned Jesse the nickname that stays with him today “The War Machine.” Jesse moved to Central Texas in 1981 and now calls San Marcos home. He follows Nitro Funny Car Drag Racing and collects movie memorabilia from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Jesse also enjoys football season and live music.If you ever have an obscure question about a certain Subaru model, find Jesse, who is a national Subaru walk-around champion. Jesse says that the Subaru brand is a true state of mind and he loves representing it. He appreciates both to the go anywhere capability of the vehicles and also the shared sensibilities that Subaru customers have of caring about the well-being of Mother Earth.
