Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Chris realized that he had seen enough of the city by the sea and later found himself in Austin, at Austin Subaru. When asked what he loves about the automotive industry? He answered, “That there are still companies like CAG out there.” Chris has a beautiful and supportive wife, Dedra, and 3 wonderful children. He enjoys spending time with his family at their fishing cabin on Baffin Bay and hunting South Texas.
Hire Date 8/7/2018 – Hi, my name is Abel Aguirre. I wasn’t born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could. I started assisting Subaru service customers in 2003 in El Paso, TX and now I’m happy to assist you at Austin Subaru. I have a true passion for Subaru: my first car was a ’98 Outback handed down (I’m currently on my 17th Subaru) and I built my 2007 WRX to achieve 744HP. Hire Date 4/6/2015 – Ana is a smart young lady who graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelors in Food Service Management and an Associates in Baking and Pastry Arts. Ana and her furbaby Sami have traveled up and down the East Coast but their hearts are deep in the heart of Texas! You can find Ana by the sparkle in her eyes or pretty much anywhere on her. Ana was proud to announce the arrival of her first born son on July 1st, 2016. She welcomed her sweet baby boy, Andrew Angel.. look out world!
Hire Date 6/23/2020 – Erin was raised in Orange County, CA, and moved to Austin in 2017 to study film at UT. She decided to join the team at Austin Subaru’s Continental Cafe through her love of coffee and the distinct kind-culture that Subaru encapsulates. When she’s not working, Erin loves baking! From cakes to fancier pastries, like croissants, she enjoys any time spent baking up new or old recipes. She even has a goal of opening an online pastry business, too! At home, Erin has a fairly new white lab puppy named Toby. She wears a smile every time she takes him to the dog park, sees him getting to meet other dogs or splash around in the water.
Leo is from McAllen, Texas. He got into the automotive industry in 2017 thanks to his father, who has been a manager in automotive for nearly 30 years. When he’s away from work, Leo enjoys boxing, riding motorcycles, eating seafood, listening to Led Zeppelin, rooting for the New England Patriots, reading, and hanging out with his two Akitas, Hercules & Ghost. He also finds the time to play video games on his PS4 like F1 2019, and in real life, Leo would love to attend an actual F1 event in Monaco. Leo is the hero of his own story because that’s the best way for him to be able to control the outcome and adventures of his own personal life. FUN FACT: Leo’s zodiac is also Leo!
Hire Date 5/30/2016 – Stephanie was born in a little town called Wharton, Texas outside of Houston. While she has country roots, she loves the city, and has been in Austin since she was 12. Now, Stephanie is happily divorced, the mom to two great teenagers, and one happy little Maltese, Paris. Whenever she is not at work, her life entirely revolves around her dog and her children. Unlike some parents, Stephanie loves it when her kids bring all of their friends home with them, as she loves to cook for large crowds! She spends some of her time volunteering for different causes, including Operation Turkey, and is a chair person for her daughter’s high school football team (Vista Ridge Football Club), and Project Graduation!
Hire Date 1/5/2015 – Born and raised right here in Austin, Texas, Erik is no stranger to the wonders this amazing city has to offer. As a true Austinite, he likes to keep it a little weird! He’s a funny guy with a love for the Cowboys, Spurs, cereal, crafting and watching movies. Erik likes to live in the moment and has never been happier! And although life in the present is so great, he does on occasion look to the future. That’s why he decided to work for us here at Austin Subaru – We are a great place to start an excellent career! We look forward to hearing more of his entertaining life stories and dreams of adventuring in Dubai in his ’64 Stingray.
Hire Date 3/1/2017 – Nik was born in India and moved to the U.S. in 2000. He’s a car enthusiast and enjoys building and modifying cars. He moved to Austin in 2015, and his favorite parts about living here are all the great driving roads, the relaxed city environment, and the quiet areas.
Hire Date 9/18/2019 – Spencer is from Fort Collins, Colorado. He loves to drive and work on cars, so choosing Austin Subaru was easy for him. Plus, he’s a huge fan of everything you can do in Austin and the great car scene here, too! When he’s not working, Spencer likes to go places with friends and family, drive around, go to the lake, and work on cars. He also really loves Mexican food and pretty much all music, though he will have to pass on heavy metal and opera–especially if you try to play them together. Spencer also enjoys getting out to spend time with his aunt and uncle in Missouri because they have four-wheelers and good hunting opportunities there. If he could invite anyone to dinner, he’d choose Dustin Williams–a car YouTuber, and the reason that Spencer chose to get his WRX. Spencer enjoys the company of his dog, Oreo, a black and white Cocker spaniel and German shorthaired pointer mix. One day, Spencer would like to travel to Thailand for the scenery and the pristine beaches.
Hire Date 10/29/2018 – Austin had lived out his whole life in Portland, OR, until 2013 when he and his family moved to Austin for his dad’s new job. So far, his favorite thing about Central Texas is the weather! He does not miss that famed Portland rain. When he’s not working, Austin likes to hang out with friends, and play video games on his PC. Overall, he just likes to have fun and enjoy life.
Hire Date 4/19/2019 – Burak was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey and moved to Miami, Florida in 2012. A year later, he got into sales in the automotive industry. He’s always loved cars and it felt natural for him to work with people and cars! In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, reading books, watching movies, playing chess, and reading more books. Someday, Burak would like to visit Ireland to experience its culture as 95% of the population there drinks and smokes, so it has to be a good time.
Hire Date 5/11/2020 – Rebekah, who also goes by Bekah, is an original Austinite. She has friends who work for Austin Subaru that are very into cars, and she was eager to learn more about them and get into the industry. When she’s not working, Bekah likes to go hiking, do some gardening, experimenting with cooking and baking, making trips to visit ghost towns, and even finds time for building and playing guitars! In Austin, Bekah loves that the music scene is so well developed, that she has access to great venues like Control Room and Barracuda, and is extremely joyed that the musicians are both encouraged and taken care of–plus she’ll tell you that the Pad Thai from Thai Lada on Parmer is to die for around here. Bekah’s favorite vacation to date was a weeklong roadtrip with stops in Marfa, TX, Cloudcroft and Santa Fe in New Meixco, Moab, UT, and Fort Collins, CO. Along the way, she was able to visit many cute towns, check out ghost towns, get lost multiple times, and do some really great hiking. Enveloping this love of travel, her personal heroes live a lifestyle that she finds to be super awesome: the Vanwives. They live in a converted van with their dogs and travel for a living–what’s not to love? If she could invite anyone to dinner, she would choose Angela Davis to get to pick her brain and enjoy meaningful conversation. FUN FACT: Bekah has a lynx point Siamese cat named Murrie.

Hire Date 6/28/1993 – Jennifer was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, but it wasn’t long until she moved to the great state of Texas! She moved to the Austin area her freshman year of high school in her glory days where she was an undercover basketball star. She now resides in Pflugerville, Texas with her husband Keith, daughter Briana, son Keanu and her two interesting cats. In her spare time, she likes to cook and spend time with family. She also likes daydreaming about John Travolta, and one day meeting John Bon Jovi. She loves Italian food and hopes to one day travel to Italy. Her favorite aisle at the grocery store is the produce section and she has a love for chili peppers. Her favorite time of year is Autumn. Although Jennifer and her kids attended the same high school, they still think she’s the coolest mom ever. Aside from her curly red hair and an unmistakable laugh, she has other great assets that contribute to making CAG the company it is today.
Hire Date 1/27/2016 – Courtney was born and raised in Austin, and loves that it’s such a unique city. She enjoys chilling at home with her kids and her dog named Gizmo, and watching movies. She also draws in her spare time, particularly portraits!
Hire Date 1/14/2003 – Suzette grew-up in a once little town near Austin, Texas called Dripping Springs. She started working for the Continental Automotive Group at the age of 17 as a receptionist where she met her husband, Andrew Burrow. From receptionist, she then bounced around CAG, and today she works as a Marketing Consultant for all of CAG! If you can’t get enough of her from the informative videos on the web, then you can often find her at Matt’s El Rancho, her favorite Mexican food restaurant in Austin.
Hire Date 7/24/2017 – Born and raised in San Antonio, Lisa arrived in Austin in May 2017. She has a BA in Organizational Communication and Sociology, and when she’s not working, she enjoys being with her three dogs, attending film and music festivals, and spending time with family. Lisa is quite the adrenaline junkie, and someday she plans to run with the bulls in Spain! FUN FACT: Lisa was voted class clown in high school.
Hire Date 8/1/2018 – David was born in Anaheim, California and moved to Austin, Texas when he was 8 years old. His favorite things to do are play music and be outside (playing sports, camping, or just hanging with friends). Something interesting about David is that he can play 7 different instruments. His dream vacation would be to go to Spain and watch his favorite soccer team, Real Madrid, play in their home stadium. David is thrilled to be a part of Continental Automotive Group!
Hire Date 3/10/2020 – Miguel, or as his friends call him–Migue, was born in Cuba and came to Austin in 2016 by way of Florida. In Austin, Migue loves that the people are nice and that the food is great! For a guy with car in his name, it couldn’t be more fitting for Migue to be a total gear-head. His grandpa taught him how to work on cars and Migue has applied that knowledge in modding out his own cars. Migue loves attending all kinds of car events and car shows, but his true car passion lies with drifting! He can’t get enough of drifting in his special drift car and enjoys watching Formula Drift, too. Migue’s dream is to become a professional tuner and an EMT–so he can help people with cars and also help them with their health, too!
Hire Date 10/24/2011 – Steve Carter was born in Kings Lynn, United Kingdom and describes himself as an Army brat. Steve moved to Austin in 1979 from Baltimore for music and his dream came true! In his spare time, he enjoys playing music and being with his wife, Mary, and two kids, Graham and Mina. If he could meet anyone, dead or alive, that person would be Julius Caesar. If he was on a deserted island the five albums he would have for entertainment would be: “Pet Sounds” by The Beach Boys, “The Band” by The Band, “Sergeant Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” by The Beatles, Frank Sinatra “Live,” and his solo CD. Steve is described as funny, caring, and compassionate. He’s met Bob Marley and has played music with Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Stevie Ray Vaughn, J.J. Cale, and Leon Russell, among many others. Steve is proud of having integrity, being sober, and becoming a respected musician.

Hire Date 12/21/2017 – Michael moved to Austin from San Jose. His hobbies are motorcycles and project cars. He also enjoys going on walks with his dog Samson.
Hire Date 11/08/12 – Meet Mark Castillo. He was born here in Austin Texas and has lived here all his life because he loves it so much! Austin has changed so much since then, but he thinks all the changes are for the better. If he could describe himself, he would say that he is a nice person and tries and help people whenever he can. He likes working at Austin Subaru because it is a great company and all the employees are super nice and he believes that the vehicles here are great in quality!
Hire Date 6/1/2009 – Ana is originally from California but has been living in Austin since 2007. She has a young daughter who is the light of her life. When she’s off, her and her daughter spend quality time together and enjoy walking along the greenbelt and hiking. Ana loves chocolate and would eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if she could!
Hire Date 1/3/2018 – Jason is from Georgetown. He has two daughters, who he spends most of his non-working hours with. They frequently enjoy going to Inner Space Caverns and doing all the activities there. Jason has two dogs named Baby Dog and Sprite (named by the kids, if you couldn’t tell)!
Hire Date 7/3/2017 – Kurtis moved to Austin from Florida in 2004. He enjoys spending his leisure time golfing, swimming, and being out of Lake Travis. He has a 9 year old son and a dog named Sadie. His favorite parts about living in Austin are the people and all the activities the city offers.

Hire Date 10/3/2016 – Ryan is a native Austinite. Music is his hobby, and in fact, he plays the guitar. He also enjoys spending time with his nieces.
Hire Date 6/29/1992 – Debbie was born and raised in Texas, and came to Austin in 1984. Debbie has been in the car business since 85′ and is grateful to have been with CAG since 92′. She loves getting to travel around and visit her son, who is a Master Sergeant in the US Airforce. He has been stationed in Germany, Italy, Hawaii, Guam, and Korea, so she has had some great trips while visiting him! Debbie enjoys all of the time she gets to spend with her 5 grandkids, and has very happy memories of getting to watch her oldest grandson play baseball and watch him and his teammates grow up together. The one thing she is looking forward to more than anything, even more than her own retirement, is the retirement of her son from the Airforce, so that he can move back home.
Hire Date 11/27/2006 – Mark owned his own general contracting business and worked for Mr. Hardeman and the Continental Automotive Group for many years before becoming a full time employee in November 2006. Mark says that during his time as a contractor he noticed what a wonderful company this was, and he wanted to become a part of the team. Mark has been the CAG Health and Safety Manager for over four years now.Mark plays the keyboard and organ for a Christian rock band at his church, The Journey. Mark has been into music since he was a teenager and also plays the bass guitar, guitar, and drums. Mark’s musical talents have led him play in several bands throughout the years: from rock and roll to country and now Christian rock! Besides his music, Mark enjoys riding motorcycles, watching movies, and spending time with his family.
Hire Date 11/5/2018 – Baileigh is an Austin native. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her friends and go scootering downtown. She also likes to take her beloved Bulldog, Fatty, out for short walks and long cuddles. Someday, Baileigh would like to visit her family in beautiful Colorado, and while there, tackle her fear of heights by going skydiving.
Hire Date 2/12/2018 – Lucas is a father of two little girls. He has three dogs–a Lab, a Catahoula, and a Yorkie–and six chickens. He enjoys being outdoors, and especially enjoys spending his time hiking, fishing, and camping.
Hire Date 4/10/2017 – Adam is originally from Oregon. He’s into comics and video games. He enjoys the DC universe, and Superman is his favorite comic character. His all-time favorite video game is Destiny. Football is another one of his pastimes, and his favorite team is the New England Patriots.
Hire Date 4/15/2010 – Randy started his Continental Automotive Group career at Jaguar in 1990. After they sold that dealership, he moved over to First Texas Honda. Only 14 and a half short years later Randy decided to try other things, but after 5 years away, couldn’t resist coming back to our Austin Subaru location. He has spent most of his life as a tech, and loves fast cars. Mustangs have always won his heart, along with shooting and spending lots of time on his tractor out at the farm! He has worked for our company for a total of 20 years, and boy are we glad to have him.
Hire Date 8/1/2016 – Morgan enjoys working on cars, and this is his first time working for a dealership. When he’s not working, he also likes the outdoors, and 4-wheeling.
Hire Date 11/12/2019 – Francessca is from Houston and she currently commutes to Austin from the Killeen area. In Austin, Francessca and her husband like to go on outdoor adventures, share some laughs at comedy shows, and scope out local breweries. They have a pitbull mix who’s named Kiowa after an old military airplane. In 2020, Francessca began enjoying a new hobby: archery! She has made it a goal to wake up every day and practice for 20 minutes per day. Francessca and her husband eloped and they are looking forward to the near future when they can take a honeymoon trip to the beautiful beaches of Santorini, Greece. FUN FACT: Her sister Lily also works for CAG!
Hire Date 10/22/2019 – Zach is from upstate New York and he’s looking forward to the weather change and to figuring things out here in Austin. He’s been a technician since 2014 and he got into the field thanks to a referral of a friend. In his free time, Zach likes training and weight lifting at the gym and going hiking with Jackson, his beagle and sheperd mix. At the top of his bucket list, you’ll find that Zach would love to meet Arnold Schwarzenegger–the person he looks up to the most, visit Ireland–the land where his ancestors are from, and skydive where ever he may!
Hire Date 1/31/2020 – Briana is an Austinite and her favorite thing about Austin is the ample availability of so many great kinds of food! When asked about her favorite meal, Briana replied with “PIZZA IS LIFE.” A few of Briana’s favorite things: trying new restaurants, anything outdoors, and chasing her tiny human (son) around. Briana spent an amazing vacation in the Dominican Republic and at home, Briana has three Huskies: Kimber, Cabela, and Ayva.
Hire Date 4/1/2020 – Matthew is from Albuquerque, New Mexico. He’s a third generation “car guy” who enjoys carrying on the family legacy, and has been a technician since 2013. When he’s not working, Matthew likes to go shooting and hunting, diving, driving, and hanging out with the boys. He’s a big fan of the Red Bull cliff diving team and someday, he’d like to visit New Zealand for the stunning nature and great swimming spots. In Austin, he loves getting out to cool off and dive from the diving board at the crystal clear waters at Barton Springs. When it comes down to music, Matthew’s favorite is Frederic Chopin–with Ballade no. 1 in G minor, op 23., being at the very top of his list. FUN FACT: Jordan B. Peterson is his hero. Matthew has learned a number of fundamental things about himself from JBP’s lectures and speeches, and overall, he’s a better person from them.
Hire Date 9/1/2015 – Miguel is a nice guy who enjoys mountain biking in his spare time. His favorite food is chicken mole. He likes all kinds of music, and is happy to listen to anything.
Hire Date 3/25/2019 – Yoli was born in Georgetown and raised in Round Rock. She loves spending her time hiking, camping, being outdoors, cooking and baking. She’s quite the foodie, and even has her own foodie bucket list of all the restaurants that she wants to try. Yoli and her husband, Miguel, enjoy cuddling up with the family and watching movies at home, trying new foods together, joy riding in their “la fea” ’97 Subaru Impreza 2.5, and doing anything that gets their adrenaline up! In fact, Yoli has a fear of the water, but she also really loves to canoe and kayak! She and her husband are both car enthusiasts, especially Subaru lovers, and they own 5 cars–4 Subarus, and 1 odd-man-out American make. She’s always been interested in cars and says that the older, more simple cars with quaint interiors hold a special place in her heart. Some of Yoli’s biggest passions in life are budgeting and crunching numbers to save for her dream home, doing her best to make sure that her family is a zero food waste household, and producing the least amount of trash-waste possible by recycling as much as they possibly can. Overall, Yoli is thrilled to be a part of the family-orientated team here at Austin Subaru where she says it truly is “very Austiny.”
Hire Date 8/14/2007 – Chrystian hails from Zacatecas in Central Mexico and has lived in Austin since 2007. When asked what he likes most about Austin, Chrystian says the lakes and parks all around Austin. Chrystian is the oldest of four children and enjoys playing soccer with his two younger brothers. He also likes finding new applications to download for his android, but most of all, he enjoys spending time with his two kids and wife.
Hire Date 3/25/2013 – Walker, often referred to as the Golden Child, was born in Austin, but grew up in a town called Boerne, just outside of San Antonio. He recently moved back to Austin to be close to his cousin and best friend KevKev. This worked out pretty well for him, as it was his cousin that recommended him for the position due to their mutual love of things with engines. Walker was recently adopted by a needy little kitten that keeps him on his toes. If he could, he’d love to make a trip back to Japan to visit friends. It might be a little easier for him to take a trip to Canada though, as he is legally a United States and Canadian citizen.
Hire Date 6/18/2001 – Chris was born and raised Lockhart, Texas, and he fondly refers to it as LA (Lockhart Area). He first joined the Continental Automotive Group back in June of 2001. Chris’ hobbies include checking out classic cars, and doing things outdoors like gardening, kayaking, and biking. He is the youngest of 10 children, with family in Louisiana and Southern California. Thanks to two of his sisters living in Huntington Beach, it has become his ideal vacation spot between the perfect weather and time he has with his siblings. Chris recently moved to Bastrop, and is enjoying the country life. Now, he is beginning his dream: starting a mini farm! He plans to have a vegetable garden and will build a greenhouse to start his own plant nursery where he will grow agaves, plumerias, and many native Texas plants. Chris has 3 chickens, and 3 dogs (old, senile, Sparky the Terrier mutt, and brothers: Bear and Boudreaux, the unruly German Shepherd puppies). With the growth of his mini farm, he plans to add some Pygmy Goats, and a Miniature Donkey!

Hire Date 9/28/2015 – Frank is from Dilley, TX. He’s a Marine Corps vet and has worked in the car business for 25 years. He’s a foodie, and when he’s not working, he’s weight lifting, or reading.
Hire Date 2/15/2019 – Kaden was born and raised in Northern California and moved to Austin sometime around 2006. One of his absolute favorite things since moving to Austin is the vast assortment of… breakfast tacos! They seriously are something that you can’t find anywhere else. He enjoys living a day to day lifestyle and likes to get out to go hiking, visit redwoods, and work on his cars; one of which is an ’02 WRX bugeye wagon. Kaden has a pack of French Bulldogs at home consisting of 4 adorable Frenchies: Monty, Masha, Coco, and Solo. FUN FACT: Kaden is “the most average guy you’ll ever meet.”
Hire Date 7/1/2019 – Diana is from San Diego and she enjoys spending time with her family and her son. Family is number one in her life, and Diana always looked up to her mom. She taught Diana the importance of life and that you can achieve anything that you put your mind to, and the only way to not reach those goals is to not try. She believes in never giving up on your hopes and dreams! One day, Diana would love to go to both England and Ireland. They are both places that her mom had wanted to travel to, and Diana decided that she will go to honor her mom’s memory. Being newer to Austin, Diana has found that the atmosphere and the friendly people here are perfect for her and her family. She loves to go to Barton Springs and that there is so much for her to do with her son, from visiting museums to spending the day at Lake Travis. They also enjoy animals and have one cool little dog, a pug named Pig. FUN FACT: The Kentucky Wildcats are Diana’s favorite sports team, and Sam Smith is her favorite artist.
Hire Date 4/8/2020 – Kai is originally from Hong Kong, China, but has lived here the longest! Having been around Austin since the mid 90s, he’s proud to know his way around the city. Kai loves Subarus and personally owns a WRX, so making the jump to the automotive world was a breeze. When he’s not working, Kai enjoys playing FPS and flight simulator games on his computer, trekking around the courses to play disc golf, listening to EDM music, getting Pho and other soup/noodle dishes around town, and hanging out with buddies from his Subaru club & doing “car things” together. During his junior year of high school, Kai and his family vacationed in the Caribbean via cruise from Miami, and next, he hopes to visit the breathtaking scenery of the mountains in Europe. Kai is inspired by the first man to fly faster than the speed of sound: Chuck Yeager, and his dream job from childhood was to become a fighter pilot. He’s still quite the military aviation fanatic! At home, Kai has a black cat named Ebony. FUN FACT: Kay is also well versed in computers and IT!
Hire Date 8/24/2015 – Ryan was found in a shed out back and we thought he would be good in the service department (that’s a joke; don’t worry, he’s properly trained and everything).
Hire Date 4/20/2016 – Eric likes drag racing, shooting pool, and building and working on cars. He enjoys working on Subarus. He reached his goal of becoming a Subaru Master Certified Technician in 2018.
Hire Date 7/22/2019 -Brice is a Texas guy who was born in New Braunfels and raised in Schertz. Now, Brice, his 2 daughters, and their spunky mutts are looking forward to getting to know Austin. Brice has been a Subaru technician since 2010 and is happy to be on the team here now. When he’s not working, Brice enjoys freshwater fishing in local rivers, and every now and then, he’ll make a trip to fish at the coast. One day Brice would like to go do some Florida-fishing and catch a few Florida native fish that are on his bucket list.
Hire Date 5/26/2016 – Cassandra started out as a receptionist for the company but always had one eye on the Marketing department. She has always loved to be creative and enjoyed showcasing her talents in drawing, sketching, and designing. When given the opportunity, she would volunteer for anything involving Macho Marketing to get her name out there. After two years of working for CAG, a position in the Marketing department opened up. Hire Date 5/7/2020 – Allyson is from San Antonio, TX. In Austin, Allyson likes being around many like-minded individuals and how easy it is to be introduced to new things or bond over hobbies. When she’s not working on side projects or studying for school, Allyson loves going hiking, paddle boarding, playing Minecraft and Rocket League on her PC, and spending time out with friends to see shows and checking out new fun spots around Austin. Allyson enjoys listening to many genres of music, but her top picks are shoegaze, surf-rock, lo-fi, and 90s hip hop and R&B. Allyson spent some time in Berlin, Germany, and remembers it very fondly, stating “It’s a time capsule of art, architecture, culture, and values.” She also enjoyed riding the train with her friends for hours just to people watch, while also seeing many beautiful murals and chatting with locals. At home, Allyson sometimes has a cat–sometimes a vicious beast. He loves cuddles, mama’s kisses, long walks around the neighborhood and while he goes by many names, he only answers to Archie. FUN FACT: Hearing the sounds coming from the shops at CAG is a delightful reminder of when she was younger and she would hang out with her abuelo while he worked on cars. He always inspired her to be her best and most authentic self, which has guided her so far, and still drives her to be both happy and humble in her career.
Hire Date 10/8/2019 – A local Austinite, Diego loves the fact that everyone here is so friendly and there’s a wild array of things to do. Diego has three cats, Tuxedo, Tortie, and Cow, could watch Blade Runner all day every day, and wishes he could learn so much more about music from Mozart. He enjoys spending his free time working on cars, computer programming, playing video games, listening to music, and watching and making movies! Diego’s dad is a Director and the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Diego loves being behind the camera to make commercials and short films, with the hope of someday creating an entire feature film! Also in the future, Diego would like to start an endurance racing team, and he’s currently working on a car to make that dream a reality! FUN FACT: When asked if he was a sports fan, Diego replied “Regrettably, I am a Cubs fan.”
Hire Date 2/26/2020 – Irving was born in Moncolva Coahuila, Mexico and raised here in Austin. He loves that Austin is a good size for a city, not too big! He also really liked the HOPE Outdoor Gallery (aka Castle Hill Graffiti Park) and is sad to see it move over by the airport. When he’s not working, Irving likes to go out with his friends and play video games like Halo, Dark Souls, and the COD games on his Xbox. Irving also likes to draw from time to time and has a semi-realistic style mixed with a tattoo style, with a preference toward drawing skulls and roses. Someday, Irving would like to jump out of a plane and conquer his fear of heights, and he would also like to visit Japan to experience their nightlife, car scene, anime, and culture.
Hire Date 8/7/2017 – Ashley moved to Austin in 2017 from a small town in Texas called Jasper. She’s looking forward to meeting new people and having new experiences. She is a dog lover and she enjoys attending festivals. Her current hobby is learning to play the cello.
Hire Date 7/2/2015 – Kumary was born in Miami, Florida, moved to Austin when she was 8, and was raised in Guatemala. She can speak both English and Spanish, which she says is very useful. She enjoys anything outdoors. Her favorite movie is The Dark Knight and her favorite food is pizza. Yellowstone has been her favorite place that she’s visited so far, and she says it had beautiful scenery and she loved the weather.
Hire Date 8/29/2016 – Dustin was born in San Antonio and lived in Pflugerville and Boerne growing up. He moved to Austin in 2016. In his spare time, he likes playing challenging or competitive video games and puzzles, and watching TV series online with his friends. He likes to tell people that his favorite movie is Spiderman 3, mainly because of the reaction it gets from his friend and fellow IT person, Walker. His favorite grocery aisle is… not. It’s Amazon Prime. One day, he would like to visit Germany and the Netherlands to enjoy the scenery.
Hire Date 7/6/2015 – Chelsea is a breakfast loving lady from Childress, Texas. Seriously, anything breakfast related, and you’re good in her book! Chelsea has been in the automotive industry since 2015 and got her footings right here with Austin Subaru. Having previously worked in retail, she knew she wanted something fast paced and she’s continually grateful that she found and fell in love with Austin Subaru and CAG. When she’s not working, Chelsea loves to take her two rescue pups (Bandit a long haired Dachshund and Bear the Yorkie) out hiking, enjoying a good cup of tea while soaking up the sun, getting crafty, going fishing, and watching fishing shows like River Monsters and Deadliest Catch. If she could travel anywhere, she would like to visit the Cape Town area of South Africa. A sucker for great scenery, Chelsea’d love to explore all over from safaris to wine country to beautiful beaches. In Austin, Chelsea could rave about so many things, but her favorite has to be that even while the city is forever expanding, it still has an easy-going, small town vibe–plus, great coffee and food! Inspired most by her Marine-Medal-of-Honor grandpa–lovingly dubbed, Papaw Thomas–she’s taken one of his sayings to heart: “Don’t be anyone’s dancin’ chicken,” meaning to only make decisions that feel right and true to you. If she could have dinner with anyone, Chelsea would choose Nicole Lapin, her favorite author. All of Lapin’s books are about empowering women to take control of their life, wealth, and career. Chelsea also makes sure to catch her podcasts and will tell you that her energy and confidence is totally infectious! Chelsea is the embodiment of her favorite song: Here Comes the Sun by The Beatles. FUN FACT: Chelsea loves to stop and read all of the historical makers that she finds!
Hire Date 5/24/2019 – Ariel is from Mexico City, Mexico and is finishing up school at Austin Community College to get his associates degree of applied science in automotive technology. He also has an interest in filmmaking and got his start into the automotive world thanks to car philosophy and literature videos. In his free time, Ariel likes to read manga, watch anime, cook, do maintenance on his friends’ cars, hang out with his girlfriend, play PC video games, spend time with his pitbull/boxer mix Nala, and eat new foods! In fact, his favorite thing about Austin is the fact that there are so many amazing places to grab a bite to eat. Ariel’s also extremely proud of his hardworking parents who provided everything in life for him, and he’s excited that it’s his turn to repay that debt of hard work and kindness. In the future, Ariel plans on visiting Japan to experience Japanese culture, both the traditional and the popular.
Hire Date 10/24/2019 – Axel is from Naucalpan de Juarez, Mexico and has been a part of the automotive industry since 2019. Learning to take care and maintain his own car was the catalyst that got Axel into the idea of making a career for himself in the automotive world. When he’s not working, Axel likes to spend his free time watching automotive content and anime. His favorite movie is The Crow with Brandon Lee, and in Austin, he would recommend catching a show at Emo’s East. Axel also has a young Boxer/Pitbull mix named Nala.
Hire Date 6/4/2018 – Cody is originally from Alice, TX, and moved to Austin in 2009. He has 2 cats, Dexter and Swirl. He enjoys playing racing simulator games, and he plays the synthesizer. Before working at Continental Automotive Group, he was a driving instructor for N.A.S.A. Racing.
Hire Date 9/1/2020 – Jay is from Lake Dallas, TX. He’s new to the automotive industry and while it wasn’t necessarily the cars that drew him in, it was the Subaru brand itself. A great company that really cares about their employees is what drove him to apply to Austin Subaru. Whenever he’s not working, Jay enjoys going on hikes in and around Austin, playing video games like Overwatch on his PS4, and enjoying tennis and baseball with friends. Jay also likes to travel and one of his favorite spots so far is Taiwan. He went for a mission trip and will tell you that they have the best food ever! He was also able to play kickball on the side of an active volcano so that totally puts it at the top of his most awesome experience list. One day, Jay would like to go to the UK so he can see the show Countdown, live! FUN FACT: Jay’s hero is Vegeta because he’s constantly pushing his limits.
Hire Date 9/21/2016 – Rosa is from Austin, and her favorite part about living here is walking along Lady Bird Lake. She enjoys relaxing at home and watching Japanese animation. She also has taken up sketching, and learning to sew in her free time.
Hire Date 2/14/1989 – Our one-of-a-kind HR gal was born in Arkansas but got to Texas as quick as she could! Sheri has two wonderful daughters, four adorable granddaughters, 2 grand-dogs, and 1 crazy cat, Fred. If she could live anywhere, it would be along a coastline so that she could relax on the beach with her feet in the sand. Sheri offices out of our flagship store and says her dream car is a convertible. With over 700 employees group-wide now, Sheri’s a busy girl but never too busy to keep our CAG crew cared for; it’s what she does best!
Hire Date 10/04/12 – Isaac was born in Greenbay, WI, and yes, he is a Packers fan and owner, as are his kids. He has lived in San Diego, Phoenix, Virginia, Philly, D.C., Delaware and Maryland. In the fall of 2004 he met the woman who would become his wife on a campaign trip to Beaumont, TX. After spending the summer of 2005 in Maryland, his wife could no longer stand to be away from the Great State of Texas. That fall, his family moved to her hometown of Beaumont with the intent of coming to Austin in a year for Isaac to pursue graduate studies at UT. Hurricane Rita upped that timetable and the family came to Austin in January 2006. Isaac found that, opposite of what he was told, public transportation here is pretty much non-existent, so he decided to look for work where the cars are. His family is everything to him and he feels blessed to have a wonderful wife, three beautiful children, two rescued dogs (Wubby and BO-C), three rescued cats (Piper, Odamae, and Scampi), and one rabbit who is black, but is named Gray Bunny. Isaac is the only non-native Texan in his family but did get here as soon as he could.

Hire Date 6/10/2020 – Britney was born in Ft. Worth and moved to Austin with her mom when she was 8 years old. Now, grown-up, Britney’s favorite thing about Austin is the fact that there are so many local breweries. She has a ’13 WRX hatchback and the moment she knew she was ready to leave the waitressing business, paired with the proximity of Austin Subaru, Britney knew she was home. She’s also very into drifting and spends a lot of her free time practicing via sim racing on Assetto Corsa, and building her drift car. One day, Britney plans to go to Japan to scope out the car scene and enjoy the rainy skies and the overall vibe of the country. Britney also adopted a pretty cool cat from APA!–who’s name is Tuna. (All thanks to the moment she arrived at Britney’s home, the cat immediately ate all the tuna that had been meant to be saved for sandwiches!)
Hire Date 5/18/2020 – Hunter is an Austinite whose favorite thing about the city is the nature. He loves that he can be around the business of the city while still being very close to nature and that he literally gets to see it every day. Hunter’s dad’s side of the family is and has been very involved in the automotive industry, dating back to his great grandfather, and now, Hunter’s getting in on the industry himself. When he’s not working, Hunter likes self-proclaimed “nerd stuff” like playing video games, tabletop games, and fantasy and sci-fi genres. He also likes to spend time with his dog, Jack and going swimming in the summertime. Dick Grayson (aka Nightwing and the Original Robin of the Batman series) is his hero–equipped with some qualities that Hunter really admires, especially the way he continually managed to stay optimistic and happy about life despite all the bad things that have happened to him along the way. Lupe Fiasco is Hunter’s favorite artist to listen to, with “Mural” being his favorite song. Hunter also roots for the Houston Rockets. FUN FACT: Hunter grew up swimming competitively and also coached from 16 to 22 years old.
Hire Date 12/5/2019 – Phillip is from San Antonio, though he grew up in southern Bavaria, Germany. He has a strong passion for creating great videos and photos. In his free time, Phillip likes to write, enjoy good food and music, and spend time with his wife and both of their families. Phillip is always down for a meal with flavor, especially of Italian, Greek, and Mexican dishes. A few top picks for Phillip? His favorite song is Good Vibrations by The Beach Boys, he roots for the San Antonio Spurs, and he’s a big fan of the movie Miller’s Crossing by the Coen Brothers. In fact, if Phillip could invite anyone to dinner, he’d choose the Coen Brothers! In the film world, Phillip is also an admirer of John Cassavetes for the way he chose to invest his own money–made from acting–to create his own really unique independent films. FUN FACT: Phillip and his wife also have two wonderful dogs, Oliver and Arlo!
Hire Date 8/15/20217 – Jay is a happy and fun guy who was born and raised in Austin. He often keeps himself busy entertaining his seven grandkids. He’s an avid camper and enjoys outdoor sports. The endless supply of live music is his favorite part about living in Austin.

Hire Date 5/21/2018 – Luke was born in San Jose, California, but has lived in many different places before ending up in Austin. He loves reading, hunting, camping, cooking, baking, and cruising around in his ’68 hot rod! Currently, Luke’s goals are to travel through East Asia and he strives to learn something new every day. He has a loving family with two older brothers and is an uncle to two exceptional nieces, Megan and Maire. Outside of work, Luke likes to drink craft beer and attend live music events (particularly jazz and blues).
Hire Date 2/17/1984 – Genny was born and raised in Austin, and after earning her degree in Finance and Spanish at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, she returned to Austin to work in investment banking. After two years, she decided to join the family business and has split her time between several of our dealerships. Genny enjoys spending time with her teddy bear of a husband, little James, sweet baby Margot, and their three dogs. You might recognize her, she’s the girl jogging around the neighborhood, pushing a stroller with one hand and holding two dogs with the other. Her favorite things in life are James and Margot, who come to the dealership with her almost every day and love to smile at everyone that stops by their office to say hi.
Hire Date 9/8/2015 – James’ first day on the job was just one week after being born, making him Continental Automotive Group’s youngest employee ever. He’s been voted “Cutest Employee Ever” and get’s his daily dose of caffeine at Austin Subaru’s coffee bar. Now that James has been accepted to preschool, his presence has decreased, but he still attends monthly management meetings to stay up-to-date on dealership operations. He’ll be the one sweeping the floors, pulling parts and detailing cars during his teens. So say hi!
Hire Date 2/17/1984 – Left. Joy, a sought-after companion, enjoys a good crossword puzzle and late evening walks on the Lions Municipal Golf Course with her two puppies, Ellie and Charlie. As one half of the team that joined the Continental Automotive Group on February 17, 1984, Joy has 25 years of automotive industry know-how. Those who miss Joy in work mode can check Facebook for the photographic chronicle “A Day in the Office- Kicking Butt and Taking Names.” Joy is currently in Washington DC driving a Subaru Outback.
Hire Date 7/8/2016 – Hire Date 7/8/2016 – Lily Geneva Hardeman was born on July 8, 2016, and is named after her great grandmother Geneva Hardeman. She loves to spend time with her family, including her cousins James and Margot Hill, and her dog Nash. She likes to sing and dance, swim, go to gymnastics and ballet classes, and play along when “dada” (Will) plays the guitar or piano. Lily offices alongside Will at one of Austin Subaru’s sister-stores, First Texas Honda, and enjoys offering customers “Lily’s French Toast Latte” at the Continental Cafe, saying hello to everyone, and playing in the Lily Pad playroom.
Hire Date 5/22/2017 – Margot weighed only 5 lbs on her first day of work. Like her older brother James, she enjoys greeting customers at Austin Subaru’s coffee bar and cruising around the showroom.
Hire Date 7/18/1981 – William B. is an Austin recreationalist: an avid cyclist, triathlete, competitive skier, and outdoorsman who enjoys all the air, land, and water that Austin has to offer. These activities have made William B. more in tune with local environmental issues, and in his construction and development focus at the Continental Automotive Group, William B. brings with him a strong commitment to preserving Austin’s natural beauty. He is excited about the local expansion of the Subaru brand and thinks that it’s a perfect match for the people of Austin. William B. grew up in west Austin and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin.
Hire Date 2/20/2017 – Brandon grew up in the Austin hill country. He enjoys fixing cars, and in his free time, he likes hanging out with his wife and playing pinball. Little known fact, Brandon has done 9 years of Brazilian Jui-Jitsu. FUN FACT: Brandon can walk on his hands pretty far.

Hire Date 9/21/2016 – Sean is an interesting character. He loves all things about the art of cinematography, photography, and digital media. Cinema rules his world! He can talk movies for days. Sean is a big car enthusiast and some of his favorites are the Subaru STI and the BMW M3. In his free time, Sean enjoys the outdoors. Whether that be playing basketball, soccer, or BMX’ing! He also enjoys filming BMX and skate videos with his friends. Sean’s music library ranges from Led Zepplin and Pink Floyd to Wu-Tang and everything in between. Sean moved to Austin from Orlando, FL in 2013. He worked at Disney World and Universal Studios while he lived in Florida, and considered it a great experience of meeting new people from all different parts of the world, while they’re having the time of their life! One of the most valuable experiences of his life was the time he spent working as a volunteer firefighter and EMT before moving to Austin. He vacationed with his friends in Breckenridge, CO for a trip filled with snowboarding and fun, and someday, Sean would love to go backpacking through South America!

Hire Date 7/2/2019 – Ethan is from Salt Lake City, Utah and has always been interested in the automotive world. When he’s not working, Ethan likes to hang out with his friends and family, listen to music and go to concerts, play and watch sports, and anything to do with being on or near a lake! He could eat street tacos every day, loves to jam out to Blink-182, and would invite Post Malone to dinner if he could share a meal with anyone in the world. Just imagine the conversations! So far in Austin, the quality people and food are his two favorite things about the city. Ethan is also fond of California in that, he’s a Los Angeles Lakers fan, and his favorite vacation to date has been to San Francisco. One day, Ethan would like to go to Fiji, to try authentic Fiji water!
Hire Date 3/15/2016 – William was born and raised in New York. The weather is what brought him to Austin, and so far, he really likes the food and the friendly people. He has been with Subaru since 2008, so he is happy to have found a place here on our team. He enjoys what he does, so in his time off, you can find him working on cars.
Hire Date 7/8/2020 – Inez is a local Austinite. She loves outdoor activities like hiking, paddle boarding, hammocking, and exploring the city–always in search of the next best Chinese restaurant! Being from Austin, she loves that there are so many things to do within the city, but also that when you drive even just 10 minutes outside the city, there are tons of nature activity options. It’s the perfect balance of city life and nature! When it comes to travel, Inez enjoys Mexico thanks to the nice people, cheap food, and beautiful beaches. Around the corner in 2021, Inez and her fiance are planning to honeymoon in Europe to explore and enjoy the scenery. Inez once sold everything she owned and moved to Sydney, Australia with her best friend. They lived in Australia for a year and Inez claims that it was one of the best years of her life, and she would definitely go back to that beautiful country. FUN FACT: Inez’s favorite movie is King Kong! She has always had an affinity for movies with strange creatures in them.
Hire Date 7/27/2015 – The name Kegan is of Celtic origin, meaning small and fiery. Props to Mom on that one; she nailed it. Kegan spent his childhood destroying other children in Taekwondo, rebelling against his parents in an angsty teenage skater phase, and somehow simultaneously as an avid member of the stereotypical ‘nerd’ groups, such as Robotic Design, NHS, and Band Leadership. Originally from small town, Texas, he ventured to Austin in 2014 and does not plan on leaving anytime soon. Over the years, he has taught himself the trumpet and guitar. “There is something to be heard in the spaces between spaces…” he said when asked about his love for music. “It’s the reason that music can seem reminiscent in nature to someone, even if they’ve never heard it before.”
Hire Date 10/6/2015 – Scott was born in Corpus Christi. He grew up in Spring, TX and moved to Austin in 2004. He’s a huge hockey fan (Go Dallas Stars!!!) and has been playing for about 15 years. He loves music as well, and has been playing drums for 10 years, and guitar for the last couple years. He has a pitbull named Lady (short for Ladybug). He considers himself pretty outgoing and thinks his sense of humor is pretty decent. If he were to visit anywhere, it would be Vancouver, BC. Mystery movies are his favorite genre to watch, and his favorite movie is Alaska. He owns his own Subaru, so he thought Austin Subaru would be the perfect place for him to be.
Hire Date 6/8/2015 – Gus likes cars and the outdoors. Gus participated in the 2016 Subaru National Technician Competition and has many certifications including, ASE Master Technician, ASE L1 Certified, and Sr. Master Subaru Technician.
Hire Date 7/25/2016 – Austin is originally from Houston. He loves cars, riding bikes, and drives a WRX and is ASE certified.
Hire Date 11/1/2019 – Gabe was born and raised in Puerto Rico and moved to Austin in 2015. Back in PR, he misses the beaches and his family & friends–however, he goes back to visit about twice per year. In Austin, Gabe is proud of the fact that he is able to work in this industry and feels proud to be a part of the automotive world at such a young age (something that is unheard of back in PR). Gabe loves cars! One of his favorite things to do is a drive around Lake Travis. Literally, he and three friends will pile into a car and spend about two hours talking, laughing, and singing while taking in the sights around the lake. If you want to give that trip a try, Gabe’s suggestion is that make sure that you be at Lago Vista at sunset to reap the full benefits of the journey. In his future, Gabe plans to own his own business and enjoy working and living his life as if it were a movie. Gabe also has two dogs: Clifford the Shih Tzu and Apollo the husky. Both dogs were once brought along on a trip to Colorado while it was snowy, and from the front porch, Clifford in his old age watched Apollo frolicking in the snow.
Hire Date 4/19/2016 – Cynthia has lived in Austin since she was 2 months old. She has one daughter and four grandchildren who all live in Ohio. Her favorite place is Garner State Park. In her free time, she enjoys playing bingo.
Hire Date 6/3/2013 – Eddie moved to Austin in ’89 all thanks to his brother telling him how much he loved it here. Eddie is a huge fan of baseball, and still plays himself! In the last few years, he’s been to At&T Park in San Francisco, and out to Wrigley Field in Chicago, with just a few more stadiums left on his list. He plays Center Field in an adult league in the Austin area, and they often play at local fields like Anderson High School and Huston-Tillotson University. In this league, Eddie also plays against a fellow CAG team member, Garrett Liming. Also at work with Eddie is his son, Greyson, who is a photographer for all of the Subaru inventory. Eddie and his family have 3 adorable and lovable Bulldogs, Ronin, Major Duval, and Sergeant Ruger. They also tend to a huge garden compromised of around 60 variations of roses! When he’s not at work, Eddie enjoys being outdoors and spending his time golfing or kayaking. One day, he’d like to visit the South of France to see the countryside and the learn more about the history.

If he could sit down to have dinner with anyone, he’d wish to have a meal with Niccolo Machiavelli. When he’s not working, Jonny enjoys writing music, training athletically, listening to Daft Punk, and spending time with his standard poodle. Jonny also finds the time to play his original Super Nintendo and will tell you that Megaman is his favorite hero because he saved the world from the invading robots! Jonny’s favorite vacation was to London, England, but any time he gets to go anywhere with a beach is a close second.
Hire Date 2/2/2016 – Ray has been happily married since 2013 and had his first baby December 17, 2015. On his day off, he likes to spend his time with his daughter and cuddle with her. Hire Date 4/14/2020 – Brian is from Washington, DC and has been in the automotive world since 2005. Brian is a fan of Japan for not only it’s cars, but also it’s culture. When he’s not working, Brian enjoys playing video games like Final Fantasy on his PS4. He’s seen Gladiator too many times, listened to Wet Sand by Red Hot Chili Peppers more than any other song, and he roots for the Washington Redskins! At home, Brian also has a cat named Zelda.
Hire Date 2/8/2016 – Fouad grew up in Ahmadi City, Kuwait. He is proud of where he came from and the person he has become. He says he his satisfied with everything he has accomplished in life, and when he’s not working, he is spending time with his family. He loves to cook for family and friends, and his favorite food is Sea and Middle Eastern food. In the summer, he likes to travel and explore the world. He likes baseball, and his favorite team is the Yankees. The best place he’s ever visited is Turkey, and one day he would like to visit Jerusalem.

Hire Date 10/23/2017 – Jake moved to Austin from Seattle, and enjoys the friendliness, the music, the water, and the vast amounts of things to do here. He has a rescue dog named Seager who he likes to take out to the lake. Jake enjoys sports, especially baseball, and has an affinity for classic cars. He has a vast record collection, mostly consisting of old country and classic rock.

Hire Date 11/1/2018 – Tommy was born in Korea and raised in Dallas. He made his way to Austin to attend school at UT, where he made some really great friendships! Altogether, he and his friends have gone on a road trip, and they are all excited to go out on more road trips together. Though, it’ll have to be shorter weekend road trips due to everyone’s class schedules! Tommy enjoys shooting fashion photography every weekend for a social media influencer who specializes in promoting plus size clothing. Each weekend they come up with images for the following week! Tommy has no fear of heights and cannot wait to go skydiving. He’s hoping to get to fulfill his skydive dreams in Colorado, where he can free-fall somewhere truly beautiful. Tommy is also a big fan of live music and attending shows. He listens to a lot of Ariana Grande, and attends a show from each tour she does whenever she plays in Texas!
Hire Date 7/25/2016 – Rebecca was born in Houston, TX and raised in Bloomington, IN. Go Hoosiers! She graduated from the University of Evansville with her Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Management in 2014. She made it back to Texas that year and does not plan on leaving anytime soon. As a result of growing up playing basketball, volleyball, and softball, Rebecca is naturally competitive and driven in the workplace. She adds an additional enthusiasm to the Macho Marketing team and is incredibly passionate and knowledgeable about social media practices. Rebecca is also the provider of endless belly rubs to her brother-and-sister family adopted dogs, Kenny and Chesney.

Hire Date 1/28/2019 – Tobin is a proud Houstonian, hailing from Space City itself. In May 2018, he graduated from Texas State with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. Along those lines, his biggest dream is to make documentaries, potentially about criminal justice reform, as he’s a pretty “newsy guy.” In his free time, Tobin enjoys playing Texas Hold’em via leagues, cash games, and tournaments. He also has an adorable pet sugar glider named Sarge, that he’ll hopefully bring to work some time, as many co-workers are fond of its cuteness! When he’s older, Tobin plans to get a one-way ticket to Hawaii where he imagines that he’ll be 70 and learn to surf.
Hire Date 1/27/11 – Forrest (previous mentioned above in Austin’s bio) has two cars, an Impreza 2.5RS and a 1982 turbocharged 280Z that he races and attempts to drift (all in due time Forrest, all in due time). His daily driver, the Impreza, is named Scooby, and his race car, the 280Z, is called Snoopy (because it’s black and white). This dear mentee of Austin is excited to learn ‘the ways of drifting.’ He’s heard a lot about Austin and his reputation and is honored to be under his wing. Forrest is a true Subaru fan, he even has the tattoo on his back to prove it. And he is NOT afraid of the color pink! His dream color combination just so happens to be hot pink with black. Forrest is working toward his business degree in order to accomplish his lifelong goal of owning his own performance shop. Forrest is daring, not afraid to try new things, and is better than Austin at everything.
Hire Date 6/28/2017 – Lauren comes from a big Subaru family. Every member of her family owns one! Lauren likes to spend her free time watching and critiquing scary movies, and also baking. She enjoys the outdoors with friends. She has a French bulldog named Raedyn.

Hire Date 3/16/2007 – Lee has an amazing 24 plus years of experience in the car industry. Originally from Bellaire, Texas, Lee moved up to Austin over ten years ago and is sold on the Central Texas quality of life. He has been married to his wife Victoria for more than 20 years and describes her as “the best looking brunette in town.” Lee, Victoria, and their three children are outdoor people who enjoy floating the river during the summer months. Lee recently started golfing more often but has chosen not to include his handicap in this bio.
Hire Date 3/8/2012 – Jodi is a proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren! She and her husband are very involved with their church, and like to help raise money for charities. She’s most proud of the work she did recently to raise money for the flood victims in Texas. Making jewelry is her hobby. She loves Subaru and owns her own Legacy. Like her sassy coworker, Chelsea, she also loves to harass their favorite coworker, Melissa Holman.
Diana moved to Austin from Phoenix, Arizona. She has two children, a son and a daughter. When she is not at work she likes to go on evening bike rides or walks with her children. Diana and her family also recently got a puppy, and couldn’t be happier! She also likes to dog sit, go to local parks, shop, and to just hang out with her family and dear friends. Diana is always smiling and is a pleasure to work with. Her favorite color changes daily and is based on a variety of different factors.

Hire Date 9/9/2013 – Kat is just a small town girl from Llano, Texas. She moved to Austin in 2012 to be closer to her grandparents. She started as a receptionist in 2013 and has continued to grow within the company. She has a yellow lab named Hendrix who is her pride and joy. Also, she is a huge Harry Potter fan that’s always down for a marathon!
Hire Date 3/11/2020 – Nathan is from the small Texas town of Abilene, and he’s quick to say that Austin is so much better. When he’s not working, Nathan enjoys spending time with his two dogs, a black pug named Puhpee, and a Boston terrier named Lil Bebe. Nathan likes to listen all genres and for live music, he really prefers to hear it from afar, as opposed to up close in the crowds. Batman is his ultimate hero all thanks to the fact that he’s the only true hero without super powers. Nathan could listen to anything by King George Strait all day long, and when it comes to tv and movies, he really just re-watches The Office. FUN FACT: Nathan is a self-proclaimed weirdo that likes to mix everything on his plate together, so meals where the food is already mixed are the biggest hits with him.

Hire Date 8/21/2017 – Clayton was born and raised in the San Antonio area, and moved to Austin in February 2016. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games on his PS4 and sometimes his PC. He’s really looking forward to Destiny 2! Clayton used to spend a fair amount of time bouldering (indoor rock climbing) at places like Austin Bouldering Project and Crux Climbing Center. His top goal on his bucket list is to go to space, but not as an astronaut, and have “crazy amounts of money” is a close second. You could say that they go hand-in-hand. Hire Date 10/9/2007 – For the past six plus years Antonia has used her talents to keep the Subaru showroom beautiful. Antonia has lived in Austin for over 14 years and has been married to her husband Noe for 15 years. Antonia and Noe, who works at another one of our CAG locations, have a son in elementary school and a teenage daughter. On the weekends Antonia will spend time in the park and go out to clubs to dance. The family also enjoys traveling to Mexico to visit their relatives.

Hire Date 11/29/2018 – Kevin was born in Jacksonville, FL, raised in Mexico, and then moved to Austin in the summer of 1997. In his free time, he enjoys riding his naked sports bike and has been riding off and on since he was 17 years old. Kevin would love the chance to take a road trip to the Grand Canyon on his motorcycle, and he hopes to take his family out on an RV camping trip to Yellowstone National Park.

Hire Date 11/27/17 – Joseph was born and raised in Austin. He has two kids who he enjoys spending most of his time with. In his spare time, he likes working on cars and watching F1 racing. He doesn’t have a dog yet, but he is currently looking for one, and he has the name “Subie” ready for them when he finds them. Since driving his first Subaru, Joseph was completely sold on the brand, and he says he will never drive anything else.

Hire Date 4/11/2006 – A native to Austin, Roger went to school and raised his family of two sons and two daughters here. His favorite person/wife, Lisa, is an author of ghost stories and loves haunted things. He has been in the Subaru community since 1999 and is proud to say his sister, mother, and wife all drive Subarus. Roger is currently driving a vintage Baja. Mr. Matthews is very active in his church community and loves to read. His favorite color is green and his favorite place to visit is Edinburgh, Scotland. Roger loves to go on trails with his dog Geordie and loves to take day trips and entertain friends and family.

His previous employer moved him out here when they relocated their business, and Brent is thankful for the fresh start in a new city that came along, too. He’s a musician, and in his free time, you’ll often find him playing guitar. Brent also enjoys playing games on his PS4, and is currently enjoying Red Dead Redemption 2. He also has a unique hobby of building Gundams from animes where he paints, assembles, and then adds on more attachments! Hire Date 10/1/2015 – Susan is well-travelled, thanks to a previous employment; her favorite place, which she would love to return to one day, was Hawaii. She originally hails from Philly, and she remains loyal to its sports teams. Her personal favorite is hockey, and of course, the Philadelphia Flyers. When she’s not working, she enjoys watching documentaries and live music of all kinds.
Hire Date 8/3/2000 – A long time veteran of Austin Subaru, Billy is the second highest rated Subaru technician in the United States. Billy remembers seeing the 1992 Subaru SVX and falling in love with the car maker. However, it is the cars’ dependability that has kept him hooked. Billy encourages customers to test drive their Subarus in bad weather and says that, if you keep oil and water in a Subaru, it will run forever. Billy currently owns five Subarus and has also given them to both his parents and children. Billy and his wife Keri were married over seven years ago in the famous Little White Wedding Chapel on the Las Vegas strip. They have two children and live on fives acres in Copeland with their horse, Big Dog. Billy has been known to drive his riding lawnmower to the local convenience store.* * video coming soon. Billy has many certifications including: ASE Master Technician, ASE L1 Certified, and Sr. Master Subaru Technician. Billy participated in the 2007 Subaru National Technician Competition and took 2nd place, and he also participated in the same competition in 2011, where he won and moved on to the 2011 Subaru International Technician Competition held in Japan, where he took 4th place!
Hire Date 9/19/2016 – Brittany originally went to school for Psychology with the hopes of working with children, but later decided she would rather pursue a career where she could interact with more people of different backgrounds. She found that she could do just that in the automotive business! She also studied Spanish, and someday, she would love to visit Spain, highlighting Barcelona and Madrid, to experience the Latin culture and some of that amazing cuisine! Brittany and her fiancé share their home/zoo with 3 dogs and 3 cats, who are all named after horror and scifi characters!

Hire Date 5/2/2020 – Tony is originally from Seattle, Washington and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in 1987. He came to Austin in 1999 for a friend’s birthday party and never moved back home. His mom and siblings still live in New Orleans, so he still visits them once a year. Tony enjoys fishing, bowling and watching the NFL. Of course, the New Orleans Saints is his team (Who Dat). He also loves spending time with his family, his wife Amber and his 4 kids Noel, Nathan, Sydney, and Summer. Tony has worked in the car business since April 2005, and enjoys talking to people and taking care of them.
Hire Date 2/10/2020 – Stephanie is from Waukesha, Wisconsin–needless to say, she’s a huge fan of the warmer Texas weather! Stephanie loves to work with people, solve problems, and see happy clients, so CAG seemed like the perfect place to be for all of that. While she’s never been out of the US (yet), she absolutely loves to visit New York and take in the incredible theatre shows there. When she’s not at work, Stephanie enjoys cooking & baking, and exploring the Austin area, and beyond! FUN FACT: Stephanie previously worked at Walt Disney World as a Jungle Cruise Skipper.
Hire Date 3/23/2020 – Paul was born and raised in Corpus Christi, and moved to Austin in search of job opportunities in 2006. He feels very grateful to be in the position that he is in now, and give a lot of thanks to his wonderful wife. She has always been in his corner, encouraging him to find something to do that he was not only passionate about, but that he’d truly enjoy doing for work. Together they have their amazing son Lukas, who was born in 2008. Paul and Lukas are huge gamers and love to play all of the video games together, from the classics to brand new modern games. Their family also consists of quite a few pets! They have three dogs; two Jack Russels and one Bulldog, two domestic house cats; one black cat and one Tuxedo cat, and one rabbit, lovingly referred to as “2 lbs of angry fluff”, Oliver the Holland Lop. As a family, they all enjoy getting out and hiking. They’ve been to Enchanted Rock multiple times, and one of their favorite vacations so far has been to Palo Duro Canyon.

He was a cop in the Airforce and he thoroughly enjoyed his time as such, and especially loved the month he spent in England. Tony has an adorable Corgi named Cecil, who had the name was before the famous lion did, but is none-the-less fierce! Tony also has a degree in Media Arts and Animation, and he enjoys spending some time getting to create 2D cartoons!
Hire Date 7/4/2016 – Jackie was born and raised in Wheaton, Illinois. She has a chihuahua mix and golden retriever puppy that take up most of her time on the weekends. In her free time, Jackie enjoys sudoku, hiking, watching movies, and anything to do with dogs!

Hire Date 4/13/2015 – Ricardo loves anything having to do with cars. He’s an uncle to his brother’s twin boys and loves spending time with them. He plays soccer regularly and watches all sports. If it’s sports related he is into it! When Ricardo was 15 he had a kidney transplant. These days he’s as fit as can be!
Hire Date 12/8/2018 – Charlie was born and raised in San Antonio, and moved to Austin in 2017 for his dad’s job opportunity here. Speaking of, Charlie’s dad is the reason he came to work for Austin Subaru. He loves learning about the cars, and has his own Subaru, too. In fact, they are quite the Subaru family! Charlie has a 2015 Impreza, his dad has a 2018 WRX, and his mom is now in 2018 Legacy, and she had been in a Forester previous to the Legacy. Charlie loves his Impreza dearly, and even has a custom exhaust for it, with plans to add a cold air intake next! When he’s not working, Charlie enjoys playing all kinds music on his violin. He enjoys violin so much that he even started an orchestra club at his school. Beside music, Charlie also likes to go to the gym and watch movies with his girl friend.
Hire Date 9/23/2019 – Austin was born in Abilene, Texas and quickly moved all over the world. He spent time in Turkey, the UAE, Iran, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Cyprus, and several other countries. In his free time, Austin likes to ride motorcycles, spend as much time as possible out on the water, and babysit his three dogs (Olive the pug, Cedar Fever the pitbull, and Fiona the Catahoula). Austin loves music, tattoos, dogs, driving fast, and the outdoors. He is proud to be with Austin Subaru as this city and the Subaru brand connect with his soul on every level. FUN FACT: Even though he’s been all over, Acapulco, Mexico is at the top of his list. It’s where he got engaged to his lovely girlfriend, now fiancé!
Hire Date 2/18/2019 – Although he was an Air Force brat who moved around often, John considers himself to be from San Antonio. There, he starting working in cars and ran a detail shop while he was in high school. After San Antonio, he spent some time in Miami, and injured his back badly, had surgery, and moved onto new things in Austin! John’s been in Austin since 2006 and has spent time working a lot of different jobs like landscaping, real estate, event production for SXSW, and worked with children at Austin Stone Community Church’s Youth Ministry. Working with the children at ASCC prompted him to go back to school in 2013, and a short three years later, he graduated from UT with his Social Work Bachelors Degree. While in school at UT, he also met his wife and shortly before his graduation, they had their first child, with their second child following only 15 months later. FUN FACT: John’s neighbor, friend, and now co-worker, Gus Hoelscher, got him over to Austin Subaru.
Hire Date 2/5/2020 – Jared is from Poughkeepsie, NY and has been in Austin since early 2020. He has always loved working on cars and feels at home with Austin Subaru. When he’s not working, Jared enjoys yoga, traveling, reading, working on his own car, running, and biking. His favorite band is Wavves and he has too many favorite concert venues to even think about trying to narrow down his list of top venues. While he loves all kinds of food, Jared’s go-to spot is Hoody’s Subs in Round Rock, and with self-explanatory reasoning, he loves all of the delicious food in and around the Austin area. Jared enjoys getting out to travel and at the top of his travel list thus far, Jared highly notes the time that he road-tripped through Alaska.In the future, he would like to travel to the Netherlands for many reasons: nearly everyone of college age is bilingual, they have progressive harm-reduction policies, and overall, he’s eager to learn more about their culture and how these policies contribute to the well-being of the country. Nikola Tesla is a big hero in Jared’s eyes. He appreciates the way Nikola was so fiercely devoted to changing the world and pushing the boundaries, all with no concern over his public image, material wealth, or profit. He was honest and devoted to bettering society before himself. FUN FACT: Jared loves to sail and he has a border collie/lab named Hutch.
Hire Date 8/31/2020 – Andree is from Orange County, CA. He’s a big fan of the BBQ and the nice people here in Austin because it always reminds him of good food and family back home. Andree’s been working in the automotive industry since 2009 and whenever he’s not working, he enjoys spending time with his beautiful, intelligent, and overall, wonderful wife and their poodle puppy, Dexter. Andree and his wife went on a cruise to the Bahamas for their honeymoon and someday, they’re hoping to get out to France, too! You can find Andree listening to Bethel music, with his favorite being their song titled Pieces. If he had to choose a favorite Disney movie, hands-down, it’d be the Emperor’s New Groove. Classic. If you ever go to In and Out and don’t know what to order, here’s Andree’s recommendation: double double, protein style, extra cheese, extra whole grill onion, extra pickle, tomatoes, and lettuce. Extra well-done fries, and a Diet Coke. You can’t go wrong. FUN FACTS: Andree also plays the drums, he’s never broken a bone, and he loves his wife.
Hire Date 6/12/2020 – David was born and raised right here in Austin. David is such a true Texan, based on the fact that he hasn’t left Texas yet! He plans to venture out and see some other states, then maybe the rest of the world, but he’s definitely at home here. David’s been in the automotive business since 2014 and loves the positive coworkers, customers, and environment that Austin Subaru provides. When he’s not working, he loves to stay home, spend time with family, and play video games. He enjoys playing COD on PS4 or going back in time to enjoy classics on his old school Nintendo 64 and other classic Nintendos.
Hire Date 2/23/2016 – Leonard is from Kansas. He and his wife have two kids and three dogs (two chihuahuas and one pit bull). In his spare time, he enjoys motorcycles, fishing, and golfing. Leonard is an ASE Master Certified and Subaru Certified Technician.

The diversity of the people and the food here are her favorite things about Austin, as she believes that the culture here is just something different that you can’t get anywhere else. Jacqueline has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years and she truly has a passion for helping people feel better, get healthier, and be more confident. Jacqueline is also a Pro Bodybuilder and she loves competing. When she’s not working, she loves to play Dance Dance Revolution at the arcade with her husband, travel, and spend time with her family–which also includes her pets: Jack the Lionhead bunny and Max the Guinea pig. So far, Jacqueline’s favorite vacation was spent in Laguna Beach, CA with her husband for their anniversary. If she could invite anyone to dinner, she would invite the Rock! Hire Date 1/20/2016 – Christian was born in Austin and raised in Pflugerville. He has two pit bull puppies named Zeus and Canelo, after the wrestler. Italian food is his favorite, and Maggiano’s in particular is his favorite place to eat. He played football for four years in high school, and he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and biking.

Hire Date 8/28/2019 – Terrence is from California. He has a huge passion for everything about vehicles and automobile culture. When he’s not working, Terrence fills his time with motorcycles, loud V8s, and sports. He roots for the New Orleans Saints, Golden State Warriors, and the Oregon Ducks. At home, Terrence looks forward to spending quality time with Kao, his 85 pound German shepherd who thinks he’s a lap dog and can’t get enough of the lake.
Hire Date 10/12/2015 – Clayton got his first job when he was 16, working in his grandfather’s sawmill. Not exactly the most common start for someone who wood later move into IT, but we at CAG are thrilled to our roots that he decided to branch out and leaf that life behind him. After logging countless hours on his personal machine, Clayton moved into the IT field. He started with just a few relatives, but quickly became the go-to computer guy for his entire family tree. Even his old-fashioned grandfather saw the need for someone with his command of the information logging road we call “The Internet,” and gave him the oakay to follow his passion! Clayton is a model IT technician. When we put him on a project, he never stops forest until he’s finished and is rarely completely stumped.

Hire Date 4/8/2016 – Sunny was born and raised in New Orleans and moved to Austin after Hurricane Katrina. He says his favorite part about Austin is the lakes. In his spare time, he likes spending time with his son Everest. He also enjoys basketball, and the Spurs are his favorite team. The New Orleans Saints, of course, are his favorite football team.

Her family, friends, and community are very important to her! She’s totally obsessed with her Siberian Husky, Apollo! She loves hockey, and her favorite team is the Colorado Avalanche. Her biggest pet peeve is people spelling her name wrong. She loves living in Austin and embracing its weird culture! She loves live music and being outdoors! Hire Date 1/22/1990 – Alex is a proud father of six children and happily married to his wife! But his family count doesn’t stop at eight, you can also add two dogs to the mix! He is very proud of the fact he has been with the company for over 25 years!
Hire Date 10/9/2007 – Ricardo is originally from Santa Rosa de Lima, a small town in eastern El Salvador. Ricardo has lived in Austin for more than eight years and says that he and his family enjoy it much more than Houston, although they often return to Houston to visit relatives. Ricardo and his wife have two teenagers, a son and a daughter. Ricardo’s hobbies include fishing and other outdoor activities, and he likes to take weekend camping trips with his family. Ricardo enjoys family vacations to Schlitterbahn and says that they have a great time.

In her free time, she likes to read, swim, watch movies, and spend time with her two dogs, Louis the Shih Tzu and Poodle mix, and Kate the Shih Tzu mutt! She’s proud to be part of the graduating class of 2019 from A&M, gaining her degree in Human Resources Development. One day, she would love to get out and visit Greece, because it’s a beautiful place, with beautiful food!
Hire Date 3/31/2011 – Alli has 2 beautiful dogs named Luna and Eevee, and by proxy through her soon-to-be husband Craig Ritchie, a corgi named Einstein. She’s a published illustrator, an enjoys gardening, sewing, and reading. Volunteering is her favorite pastime; she plants trees with Tree Folks, helps out at Austin Subaru’s charity event for Austin Pets Alive!, Paddle for Puppies, and did tours for Funky Chicken Coop. She and Craig plan on doing lots of traveling, camping, and attending Renaissance festivals in the future.
Hire Date 4/25/2015 – Morgan is a U.S. Navy veteran. He’s a Subaru owner and driver and his love for Subarus is what motivated him into being a part of Austin Subaru. Morgan was born and raised in Austin. He spends most of his time golfing or playing with his dog, “Dexter.”
Hire Date 4/2/2007 – Originally from El Salvador, Daniel has lived in Austin for over 12 years. He appreciates the small-town feel of the city and all the fun activities that Austin has to offer. Daniel has more than five years of experience working on Subarus and describes the cars as nice and easy to fix. When not working in the Service Department, you can find Daniel on the soccer field playing for his team, Liverpool.
Hire Date 2/1/2017 – Masha was born in Moscow, Russia, moved to Austin when she was 6 years old. Over the years, she’s fallen in love with the city and could not imagine anywhere else to call home. From a young age, her mom instilled a love of travel in her. She’s been to 12 countries and counting, most notably the 4 months she spent studying abroad in Spain and more recently, 2 months backpacking in Thailand and Cambodia. She attended the University of Texas and still enjoys cheering on the Longhorns, especially at tailgates with friends. She loves animals and hopes to one day get an Australian Shepherd or a poodle mix, but until then she periodically fosters through Austin Pets Alive. In her free time, she loves attending concerts, finding new brunch spots with her friends, and when it’s warm, spending the day swimming at the Greenbelt.

Hire Date 06/01/2010 – Jackie was born in California where she soon ended her west coast fun to be in Austin, TX. She has a dog named Bandit that she likes to take on walks. She enjoys the produce section at the grocery store and going to local pubs and farmers markets! If she won the lottery she would give Sheri money and pay off all of her expenses. Her dream car is an old school Shelby Mustang. She hates doing laundry but enjoys beef fajitas and her step dad’s home cooking. She aspires to one day visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame in North Carolina. With Jackie’s good looks, she often gets mistaken for Popeye’s girlfriend, Olive Oyl. She found her place at Mercedes-Benz of Austin by the fabulous Craigslist and has gone uphill from there! Hire Date 7/28/2020 – Dean is a born-on-the-road Texan (and the son of a fighter pilot and a playboy bunny). He lives in Leander, Texas with his wife and two teenage daughters. Together, they love road trips, listening to music, singing, camping, off-roading, and volunteering. Dean and his family also have three Chihuahua-mix “puppers” – Jake and Jasper were rescued, & Shelby (our geriatric) was “inherited”. One of Dean’s greatest roles in life is being a father and raising daughters. He does all he can to teach them how to make wise decisions and showing them what to expect in a future partner by how he treats, loves, and honors their mother. Overall, Dean invests a lot of time with his family. He is so thankful that Austin Subaru allows him to balance his home and work life to better take care of both worlds!

Hire Date 8/6/2020 – Fernando is from Caracas, Venezuela. Now in Austin, Fernando loves getting out to the lakes, meeting all the people, eating too much bbq, and seeing fantastic live music shows of all genres. Fernando believes that you can tell a lot about a culture simply by listening to their music. He has spent a lot of time living in different places including Europe, both North and South America, and is planning for his next adventure in Asia. (For the record, his favorite place so far has been Maui!) Fernando has been working in the automotive field since 2015 and has been a fan of all types of engines since he was a child. Fernando is a true outdoorsy person–he doesn’t even own a tv! Instead, you can find him, hiking, cycling, paddle boarding, doing yoga, and spending time with his chocolate lab Lola. He is always down to grab a bite to eat from middle eastern or Mediterranean food places. FUN FACT: Fernando has an architecture degree, but he became claustrophobic from working in cubicles!

Maria has a little Shih Tzu named Beethoven who’s got a BIG personality! Outside of work, Maria is a very active person who enjoys keeping her body moving throughout all kinds of outdoor activities. On top of outdoor activities, you can find her weight training six days out of the week! She also spends her free time volunteering at the Texas Children’s Hospital for the Ronald McDonald Foundation and has been helping there for over seven years now. Maria is all about lending a helping hand and being part of support systems as often as she can.

He loves clangin’ and bangin’ in the weight room with his co-worker friend–who he is stronger than–Brandon Harmatiuk. Mark Wahlberg is his real dad. Hire Date 1/16/2006 – A country girl from Mt. Pleasant, Ashley moved to Austin to play softball for St. Edward’s University. After graduation, she continued playing softball in slow pitch leagues. Ashley has been with Continental Automotive Group since 2006, and has enjoyed being part of a company that cares. Glenda has worked in the car business for more than 10 years in the Service Department, where she managed the service office and was the assistant to the service manager. Hire Date 9/27/2018 – Hannah was born and raised in the Austin area. She likes to play video games on her PC and PS4, and is currently enjoying the new Spiderman game. Hannah also really enjoys getting out to car shows wherever they may be, and likes hanging out downtown, mostly to get good food. She is eager to make a trip out to COTA with her friend, teacher, and lift-mate, Minh! One day, she would like to own her dream Subaru, a 2001/02 black sedan WRX. (Great choice!) While she’s a Texas girl, Hannah once made a trip out to Northern Colorado and fell in love with the area, so some day, she’s hoping to test out living there.
Hire Date 11/4/2015 – Yelena was born in Odessa, Ukraine. At four years old, she and her family moved to Portland, Maine, where she was raised. She decided she needed a change in environment, so she and her boyfriend moved to Austin. They made a road trip of it and made a stop in Savannah, GA, which she says is her favorite place she’s visited so far. One day, she would like to say that her favorite place is England or Italy! Together, she and her boyfriend have a tiny 6 lb. orange tabby named Pig. In her spare time, she loves going to the movies, trying new restaurants and painting. Her favorite movie of all time is Jurassic Park.

Hire Date 7/19/2017 – Kori was born in Daphne, Alabama, but spent the majority of her life growing up in Destin, Florida. Despite growing up mostly in FL, she’s an Alabama football fan, and always will be! RTR! Kori graduated from Collegiate High School in 2013 with an AA Degree. A few years later in May 2016, she packed up and moved to Austin in hope of better opportunities and a fresh start. Kori’s major in college is Marine Biology thanks to her complete love of anything and everything in relation to the ocean. Kori’s world here in Austin is made up of her sweet husky puppy Kairi, and her two cats, Kleo and Jedi.
Hire Date 5/25/2020 – Stacy is from Duluth, MN, and lived all over the world including Australia, Hawaii, and Montana before arriving in Austin in July 2019. She has a degree in Marketing and Economics from the University of Minnesota and is eager to start her career in Finance with Austin Subaru. Outside of work, Stacy is getting certified to teach Pilates and spends most of her free time doing yoga, kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, and planning her future road trips. Stacy loves the welcoming and active people in Austin and she is always down to grab a green smoothie or some sushi. Having lived in Hawaii, Stacy is very proud to have tackled a week-long hike on the Kalalau Trail in Kauai–it was one of the most challenging and most breath-taking trails that she’s accomplished to date. Hire Date 8/1/2013 – Danny was born in Brownsville, Texas to a large, loving family. He moved to Austin in 1998. He has 4 older brothers and one older sister. His parents were great in instilling love of family in him since day one, and for that reason he has a very close, tight knit family. Danny is married to a wonderful, beautiful, smart, funny, and talented wife named Shannon who also happens to be his best friend. They have two daughters, Ivy and Olive, who are also very smart and beautiful! He also has a cat named Chazz and a dog named Scooter. Danny loves to do outdoor activities and would one day love to go backpacking across Europe.

His inspiration to be involved in the auto industry stemmed from his mother, and second from came from his infatuation with his favorite car. In his free time he enjoys hanging with his best friend playing video games or watching his favorite sports team the A&M football team. Last but not least, he absolutely loves his two dogs.

When he’s not working, he likes grabbing a bite to eat from Maggianos, hanging out with his German Shepherd/Husky mix Diesel, and hitting Lake Austin to take out the boat and relax. One day, Dylan would like to go to Thailand as that’s where his Grandma is from–plus, the beaches look stunning!

RJ’s favorite football team is the Cowboys, but when it comes to basketball, he has to root for the Lakers! A consummate accountant, she is from Robstown, Texas, graduated from Texas State, and has lived in Austin for nine years. She works out regularly and describes her style as straightforward. She takes the TV show Ghost Whisperer quite seriously and is overcoming an unfounded fear of non-physical spirits.
Hire Date: 8/29/2013 – Juaquin started his interesting life in the grand Metropolis of Dallas, Texas but quickly moved to Round Mountain, Texas. There he grew up on a turkey ranch where he recollects a lifestyle of peace and quiet except for Thanksgiving. Then the happiest time of his life occurred when he graduated from high school. Juaquin worked at McDonalds restaurant for a period of time then helped his father in the concrete business until he decided to attend automotive school to become a technician. That skill is what led him to Austin Subaru. When not on the job, he passes the time drawing (a true artist at heart), lifting weights and anything that keeps him busy. Now he is busy getting his life together and making better choices to move toward a better future.

Hire Date 4/15/2020 – Alyson was born and raised right here in Austin. When she’s not working, she enjoys cooking, hiking, yoga, and going out for drinks with her friends. You can find her favorite musicians playing at Cheer up Charlies and Barracuda, and her favorite song ever is Anything by David Bowie. She loves Austin for the variety of live music and all the great food! If she had to narrow it down to her favorite dishes, she’d go with pho, curry, and homemade enchiladas. At home, Alyson has a little Chihuahua-pug mix aka a “chug” named Lana. She is also very thankful to her mom for always supporting her and setting a great example! Hire Date coming soon! – Don is a four-time Subaru owner (2019 Outback, 2013 Outback, 2004 Forester, and 2017 Legacy) born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He replaced his 2013 Outback with a 2019 Outback after he reached over 154k miles in the 2013 model! Don’s lived in the Austin area since the early ’80s. His hobbies are aquaponics and beekeeping. He and his wife keep themselves busy with nine kids, twelve grandkids, two dogs, two cats, and two chickens.

Hire Date 8/3/2020 – Ayron has spent his entire life in Texas–and has been in Austin specifically, since 2002. Ayron came to Austin Subaru with 25 years of customer service experience and we’re thankful he decided to become a part of our Subaru family. Austin has been a great choice for him and his family due to the culture and amenities of most large cities, coupled with the fact that it still holds on to the small-town feel. Not to mention, you can drive just 30 minutes in almost any direction to be engulfed in nature, too. In Austin, Ayron enjoys getting a bite to eat at The Beer Plant and catching a show at The Mohawk. His musical interests span from punk rock and hip hop to Americana and jazz, and he’s thankful he’s in the right place to hear all of it. In his free time, Ayron likes to flip through stacks of vinyls at record stores, play ice hockey, hangout with Mavis, the family labradoodle, and spend time with his wife and two daughters, especially down at the coast! One day, Ayron and his family would like to trace back their roots and explore South America and The Netherlands together. If he could invite anyone to dinner, he’d choose Noam Chomsky! FUN FACT: Local director, Richard Linklater’s Boyhood is his favorite movie. The film truly and beautifully captured the nuances of day to day life through the eyes of a child growing up.
Hire Date 5/15/2017 – Renee moved to Round Rock from El Paso in 2010, and her favorite part about living in the area is all the friendly people. She has one dog–a husky named Nanook–and one cat–Shania. Reading, drawing, and listening to music are her favorite things to do in her free time, preferably with a cup of coffee in hand.
Hire Date 3/20/2019 – Chris was born and raised in the Austin/Pflugerville area and he loves it here. It makes him feel like an outlier from his family though, as they tend to live in one place for about 10 years and then move on. Chris has traveled throughout Europe and Asia, and also went to Japan when he was just 13-years-old–thanks to his Aunt. (She takes all the nieces and nephews as soon as they turn 13, out for a two week trip to wherever they want to go!) Chris loved that trip and is fond of his memories from all over Japan. When he’s not working, Chris likes to play bass guitar with his friends/bandmates–minus their drummer while he’s in the Army, play video games on his PC, and go boating with his dad out on Canyon Lake. Since he’s already experienced a lot of the world, Chris’ bucket list contains the “normal” life things like buying a house, getting married, and adding a Corgi to his life!

She enjoys hanging out with her two wonderful dogs, Ginger, a golden retriever, and Gracie, a boxer/pitbull mix. Ciara is also passionately excited to get into the Psychology field. She wants to help addicts, abuse victims, the mentally ill, anyone else that may need her help.
Hire Date 3/2/2020 – Jim was born in Connecticut and raised in South Carolina before making it to Austin. Jim loves that Austin is different from any place he’s visited or lived before and that the people; Austinites, who truly make Austin special. He’s been in the automotive industry since 2000 and enjoys everything about cars! In his free time, Jim likes to bowl, shoot guns, and hang out with his friends and family. When it comes to food, any meal is his favorite! Jim has been to Hawaii on several occasions and it’s by-far, his favorite place to vacation. Someday, Jim would really like to travel to Japan and immerse himself in their culture. At home, Jim has two dogs, Whiskey a terrier and Coco a dachshund. Hire Date 1/14/2019 – Ben grew up wake surfing and snowboarding in Reno, NV, and headed to Austin in April 2017 for more job opportunities and a better economy. He’s always been a car guy and is fond of all kinds of racing, the F1 and performance car world, and keeping up with cars in general. Ben’s also quite the adrenaline junkie and one day, he’d like to give wingsuit base jumping a shot. Apart from his work with CAG, Ben is also a videographer–and a foodie–and his youtube channel (@sirbenv) combines both of those facts! He draws a lot of inspiration from Bach, Bobby Flay, Bowie, and Warhol.
Hire Date 12/4/2018 – Born and raised in Houston, Tania came to Austin for a change in scenery and culture! Tania enjoys arts and crafts and can be found painting with watercolors and sewing together historical dresses and costumes. She also reads a lot of comics and went to 3 comic cons in 2018, with hopes of attending more in the coming years! Tania is also an Earth-friendly human, and she partakes in thrifting thanks to this fact. She even has a “thrifted” rescue dog, Honey Bee the Rat Terrier. On her bucket list, you’ll find that she wants to visit England for the history, landscape, and culture.
Hire Date 6/5/2017 – Ethan moved to Austin 11 years ago from Waco. His first car was a Subaru, and he liked it so much that it’s a major reason why he now works here. He’s an avid soccer fan; he both plays and enjoys watching games. His favorite team Liverpool. He also enjoys Austin’s greenbelts and parks, and he often takes his two dogs, Joey and Archer, out to explore them.
Hire Date 1/2/2020 – Laura is from Houston, Texas. She originally came into Austin Subaru to purchase her own vehicle, and while here, someone suggested that she apply. She’s grateful that she did and that she became a part of the Austin Subaru family in more ways than one: Laura now has a great car and a great job! When she’s not working, Laura loves to spend time bike riding, cooking, hiking, doing pilates, watching movies, traveling, and being with her friends and family. She loves food and would highly recommend Loro, her favorite Austin eatery. Laura really enjoys getting out to travel and so far, Tokyo, Japan is at the top of her list for the places she’s visited. One day, she wants to go to Vietnam and ride bikes from the south to the north, just so she can see all of the beautiful and changing landscapes. A bit closer here in Austin, she loves visiting Barton Springs! One of Laura’s biggest heroes in life is a familiar person: Beyonce. There are many reasons why she considers Beyonce to be her hero, but ultimately, Laura is inspired by her work ethic and her dedication to her craft. In Laura’s eyes, Beyonce continually stands up for what she believes, and she uses her power and influence to effect positive change for people who are not in the same position of power. What a fantastic role model. FUN FACT: If she could invite anyone to dinner, she would invite David Bowie!
Hire Date 2/9/2017 – Stetson is an original Austinite with a degree in Institutional Management from Texas Tech University. He enjoys spending time outdoors, wake surfing at Lake Austin, and exploring all the restaurants Austin has to offer. His favorite is Hopdoddy Burger Bar. The island of Saint Martin is number one on his list of favorite places he’s been; he visited the island while on a family vacation and was blown away by it. He learned of Subaru by chance, and the more he learned about them, the more impressed he became with the brand.
Hire Date 10/1/2018 – Jade was born and raised in Austin. Her favorite part about being from this city is the unique, diverse culture. She has two dogs, Max and Maya, and three children. Her favorite pastimes are kayaking and fishing, preferably both at the same time.
Hire Date 9/9/2019 – Ian was born and raised here in Austin. He plans to attend law school at UT and then move to a beach in Florida once he’s completed school. In his free time, Ian enjoys playing right fullback in soccer games with his friends, or chilling by the pool or lake. Some day, Ian wants to travel the world–probably starting with Spain, for the food!
Hire Date 7/22/2019 – Connor was born in Dallas and then spent many years moving between San Diego, LA and many other areas of Southern California, and Texas. While he was in LA, Connor used to work on movies as a production assistant for some and others, where he’d help build sets or run around town to pick up and drop off needed elements. Since he’s been back in Texas, Connor misses surfing and has replaced that passion with taking up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Instead of staycations, Connor really enjoys actually using his vacation days to set goals and truly travel. He’s been to the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, Canada, and Vietnam, with a Europe trip being next on the list!
Hire Date 11/27/2006 – This photo is from Jesse’s earlier days, when he was the hard partying and wildly talented drummer in the world famous heavy metal band Mania. Incidentally, it was about that time and a result of those skills that earned Jesse the nickname that stays with him today “The War Machine.” Jesse moved to Central Texas in 1981 and now calls San Marcos home. He follows Nitro Funny Car Drag Racing and collects movie memorabilia from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Jesse also enjoys football season and live music.If you ever have an obscure question about a certain Subaru model, find Jesse, who is a national Subaru walk-around champion. Jesse says that the Subaru brand is a true state of mind and he loves representing it. He appreciates both to the go anywhere capability of the vehicles and also the shared sensibilities that Subaru customers have of caring about the well-being of Mother Earth.

Hire Date 4/7/2020 – Mark was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and has spent the last 30 years in Austin. Mark loves that you can never be bored in Austin and that it’s the most wonderfully eclectic city with so much live music and so many performances. With over 20 years in the automotive world, he truly enjoys helping people get into a great vehicle that meets their needs. When he’s not working, Mark enjoys painting, wood crafting, biking, traveling, and spending time with his family. All of his family are all his heroes through the way they support and lift him every day. Mark states that his life would be empty without his loving wife, two sons and daughters-in-law, his parents, and his four wonderful grandchildren. On his playlist, you’ll find Bruce Springsteen’s Born to Run, and at the top of his movie charts, you’ll find not one, not two, but all three of the Godfather movies. FUN FACT: Mark roots for the Texas Longhorns, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Miami Dolphins.
Hire Date 7/13/2020 – Haley is from Alvin, TX. In Austin, she loves that there is never a dull moment and she can literally ALWAYS be doing something! Haley enjoys reading, listening to music, hiking, grabbing a bite to eat from Freebirds, hanging out with Peach–her orange tabby cat, and rooting for the Houston Rockets. The Secret Life of Bees is one of her top movie picks and she could listen to Wild Horses by The Rolling Stones on repeat, with maybe throwing some Phoebe Bridgers in the playlist, too! Haley likes traveling and her favorite trip so far was over to London. Next, she’d love to visit the Swiss Alps. Haley is forever grateful to her parents for giving her everything and more, and among her heroes, one day she’d like to meet Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
