Austin Subaru was thrilled to be the presenting sponsor for this year’s Do It for Dale event, benefiting the incredible Rally Ready Driving School. Rally Ready is renowned for its rally driving programs, offering scalable curriculums for both new and experienced drivers to ignite their passion for rally racing. This year’s event was nothing short of spectacular, bringing together adrenaline-seekers and rally enthusiasts alike for an unforgettable day of high-octane excitement. Held at the iconic Rally Ranch, Do It for Dale delivered all the jumping, gravel chucking, and dirt-destroying action participants could handle. The Rally Sprint series presented by Austin Subaru stole the show, showcasing the thrills and heart-pounding excitement of stage rally in an accessible, spectator-friendly format. It was a true celebration of speed, skill, and the vibrant community that surrounds rally racing. Austin Subaru was proud to contribute a $25,000 sponsorship to make this event possible. Our team at The Dog Alliance is grateful for Austin Subaru’s incredible support of the 2024 Truck Pull event in December! This one-of-a-kind event not only brought together the community for an exciting day of camaraderie and fun but also made a meaningful impact on the lives of our nation’s heroes. Truck Pull is an event aimed towards raising awareness and funds for our Veteran Service Dog program at Dog Alliance, and it is crucial to bettering the lives of veterans! The Truck Pull event was a remarkable display of strength and teamwork, as each team worked together to pull a 20-ton dump truck 15 feet. Beyond the thrilling challenge, attendees enjoyed music, a variety of vendor booths, a kid zone filled with exciting activities, refreshing treats, and, of course, the heartwarming presence of therapy dogs eager to meet everyone. This event would not have been possible without the generosity of Austin Subaru's $15,000 sponsorship - every dollar of which went directly towards training service dogs and pairing them with veterans who were injured in the line of duty. These loyal companions provide invaluable support and independence to veterans as they navigate life’s challenges post-service. Austin Subaru’s unwavering commitment to our mission reflects their dedication to giving back to the community and supporting those who have sacrificed so much for our country. Their generosity has not only raised awareness but has also brought us closer to fulfilling our goal of transforming the lives of veterans through the bond between humans and dogs. On behalf of The Dog Alliance and the countless lives touched by their kindness, we extend our deepest thanks to Austin Subaru. Together, we are making a difference, one service dog at a time!

Austin Subaru is committed to supporting the future of our community, and we were honored to host a benefit concert for RBI Austin at The Haute Spot in Cedar Park! This was such a fun way to support a great cause, and who doesn't love a good concert? What's even more exciting is that Chase Rice was there performing some of his greatest hits, and boy, was this a spectacular turnout! Austin Subaru is grateful for everyone who showed up to support RBI Austin's cause. All proceeds from this event went directly to RBI Austin’s mission of engaging and developing inner-city youth through athletics, academics, and spiritual growth. By empowering these young leaders, RBI Austin is creating a path for them to transform their communities for the better. Our team at Austin Subaru believes that today’s youth are tomorrow’s leaders, and it is our duty to invest in their well-being and success. By hosting this benefit concert, Austin Subaru proudly supported this vital initiative, ensuring that these young people have the opportunities and resources they need to thrive. It was an incredible evening, and we are grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event. We look forward to continuing to invest in the future of Austin’s youth and supporting organizations like RBI Austin that are making a real impact in the lives of these young individuals!

At Austin Subaru, giving back to our community is at the heart of everything we do, and Caritas of Austin is one of the partnerships we are most proud of. For years, we’ve supported their incredible mission to help people struggling with homelessness, and every time we see the impact of their work, we’re reminded of just how important it is. Homelessness is a devastating experience and every person’s story is different. Some people have lived on the streets of Austin for years, while others may be temporarily sheltering in a car after a sudden crisis like a lost job, illness, or injury. It's important to remember that these people are not less-than simply because they are homeless. They are people with hopes, dreams, and struggles just like the next person, and at Austin Subaru, we believe it’s our duty to help them however we can. It's also crucial to remember that the holidays can be especially hard for those experiencing homelessness. While many of us enjoy festive meals surrounded by loved ones, others are forced to go without. That’s why this year, we were honored to support the Caritas Thanksgiving Kitchen with $9,000. Thanks to this sponsorship, Caritas of Austin was able to provide delicious holiday meals to people in need—a gesture of care and humanity during a difficult time. Caritas of Austin works tirelessly every day to support those in our community who need it most, offering stability and resources to help them transition out of homelessness for good. Austin Subaru is so grateful to be part of their efforts, whether it’s helping to feed people during the holidays or supporting their year-round initiatives. This holiday season, we’re reminded that small acts of kindness can make a big difference. Austin Subaru is proud to stand with Caritas of Austin, and we look forward to continuing this partnership for years to come.

Austin Subaru was proud to be the presenting sponsor of the first-ever Tail of Lights event this year! This event benefitted Austin Pets Alive!, and it was such a fun and unique way to bring the community together for a great cause during the holidays. The Tail of Lights event was held at Zilker Brewery on 11/9 and Austin Beer Garden on 11/16. All families in the community were invited to come out with their pets for festive holiday photoshoots, featuring all kinds of family-friendly and pet-friendly activities. Plus, we had a pet adoption area where participants had the chance to meet some loving adoptable pets looking for their forever homes. While this event was free to attend, all proceeds gained from donations, sponsorships, adoptions, and activities went directly to Austin Pets Alive! so they can continue doing amazing work that saves lives. If you know us at Austin Subaru, you know how much we love APA! and all the amazing work they do. We’ve been proud to support them for several years, and seeing them kick off Tail of Lights as a new annual tradition was such a cool experience. Austin Subaru was thrilled to sponsor this event with $15,000 because it’s exactly the kind of thing that makes our community so special. Combining holiday cheer, wagging tails, and a great cause? That’s what it’s all about. We’re already looking forward to seeing Tail of Lights grow in the years to come!

At Austin Subaru, we believe in creating a lasting impact in our community and we were honored to support this year's Creek Show event benefitting Waterloo Greenway. Creek Show, Waterloo Greenway’s signature program, is a shining example of the magic that happens when art, nature, and community come together. This event means so much to our team at Austin Subaru because we believe in caring for the planet that works so hard to care for us. This year, Austin Subaru proudly sponsored the event with $15,000, contributing to Waterloo Greenway's inspiring mission to transform Waller Creek into a network of restored urban parks and trails. These green spaces not only preserve Austin’s natural beauty but also provide a sanctuary where people in our community have a place to connect and thrive. As longtime fans of Waterloo Greenway, we’re thrilled to play a role in their vision for a greener, more unified community. Supporting initiatives like Creek Show embodies the values we hold dear at Austin Subaru—showing love to the community and giving back to incredible organizations. Austin Subaru is proud to partner with Waterloo Greenway!

At Austin Subaru, we believe that supporting our neighbors, especially in times of loss, is what builds strong communities. It is for this reason that we've been longtime fans of Amigos en Azul, and in 2024, we were proud to support the Amigos en Azul Golf Tournament with a $2,500 sponsorship. Amigos en Azul is a non-profit organization that serves as a vital support system for Hispanic police officers and their families, offering a safe and empowering community for officers who face unique challenges each day. Amigos en Azul also plays a critical role in providing assistance to the surviving family members of officers who have tragically lost their lives in the line of duty. The funds raised through this golf tournament will go towards getting these families the support they need during the most difficult times, offering financial assistance and a community of care in their grief. It was heartwarming to see so many people come out to support the families of fallen officers, all while enjoying a beautiful day of golf. Events like these remind us how much we can accomplish when we unite behind something that truly matters. The team at Austin Subaru is deeply grateful to be part of an event that uplifts the voices and families of our local heroes. Events like this are so much more than just a sponsorship. These events really make an impact in the lives of so many families, and that is what makes us want to continue supporting these organizations. The work Amigos en Azul does is so important, and Austin Subaru is honored to have been part of this event!

In October 2024, Austin Subaru was proud to support the annual Spark After Dark event! This event directly benefits Thinkery, a local organization that holds a special place in our hearts. With a mission to cultivate a lifelong love of learning through play-based STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) experiences, Thinkery provides an inclusive and inspiring space where all children have the opportunity to thrive, no matter who they are or where they come from. Spark After Dark is not your average fundraising event - it's Austin's most playful event of the year featuring interactive STEAM demonstrations, storytelling, and opportunities to invest in joyful learning for everyone. In support of Spark After Dark, Austin Subaru was proud to do a $10,000 sponsorship - all of which will go towards tuition for a Little Thinkers Preschool student to attend for an entire academic year. This child will now have the chance to grow as a confident, creative thinker through the power of play-based learning, without any financial barriers. At Austin Subaru, we believe in lifting up organizations like Thinkery that empower the next generation of innovators, creators, and leaders. We’re honored to be a part of their story and look forward to continuing our partnership to help inspire young minds and strengthen our community. Together, we’re sparking brighter futures!

Austin Subaru is honored to have sponsored this year’s Light the Night event with $15,000 in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). As the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing education and patient services, LLS has been a partner of ours for many years. Their unwavering commitment to curing leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other blood cancers inspires us to continue standing alongside them in their mission! Light the Night is a very special evening—a time for our community to come together in hope, remembrance, and celebration. From the uplifting Opening Ceremony to the heartfelt moments shared in the Remembrance Pavilion, this event offers a chance to honor those we’ve lost while also celebrating the strength of survivors in the "Circle of Survivors." Witnessing patients and survivors step forward to be recognized by their community is always a powerful reminder of the impact we can make together. Austin Subaru is proud to support LLS and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them in their vital work. At Austin Subaru, giving back is at the heart of what we do, and it's events like Light the Night that remind us of how important it is to support the community!

At Austin Subaru, we believe it is our responsibility to extend a helping hand to those who need it most. This year, we were proud to support the annual Friends of the Poor Walk, an event benefitting The Society of St. Vincent de Paul at St. Louis Catholic Church and their mission! All proceeds earned from this event go directly towards helping people in our community who are struggling to make ends meet, providing essentials like rent assistance, utility support, bus passes, food, and clothing to families facing tough times. Austin Subaru believes in doing everything we can to ensure that people in our community have the support they need to get through difficult moments, and we were grateful to do a $1,000 sponsorship for this incredible cause. This sponsorship is just one small part of the larger effort made by everyone involved, and we are proud to stand alongside St. Louis Catholic Church in this initiative. It’s about more than just funds—it’s about showing up for people and letting them know that the Austin community cares. We're so grateful to be part of such an important mission, and we look forward to supporting again in the future. Thank you to everyone who walked with us and made this day so impactful!

Here at Foster Village, our motto is "it takes a village" - because it really does! Making an impact in the community and serving foster families requires so much support, and Austin Subaru has never failed to come through for us. Foster Village is grateful for the overwhelming support shown by Austin Subaru at this year’s Grow the Village gala. This annual event holds a special place in our hearts as it brings together foster families, foster children, and community members with one mission: to raise critical funds and awareness for foster children and the families who care for them. Grow the Village is a beautiful opportunity for foster parents and children to share their unique stories, offering the community an intimate glimpse into the joys, challenges, and hopes that accompany the foster journey. It’s also a chance to educate and inspire others to get involved and make a difference. Austin Subaru has been a devoted supporter of Foster Village, standing by us year after year in the various initiatives we do. Their commitment to our cause never wavers, and they have become an invaluable part of our organization. This year, Austin Subaru’s generous $35,000 sponsorship has provided essential resources that will go directly toward supporting foster children and empowering foster families. We are incredibly thankful for their partnership and their heart for our mission. Their support reminds us that we are not alone in this work, and together, we can continue to build a stronger, more compassionate village for every foster child and family. Thank you, Austin Subaru, for helping us grow the village and for being an unwavering ally in this journey!

If you've spent any amount of time in Austin, Texas, you know how passionate our community is about preserving nature. This passion extends to our team at Austin Subaru, as we believe it is so important to show love to our planet because it works hard to care for us! In October, Austin Subaru was proud to support Party for the Parks, an annual event benefitting the nearly 400 parks, trails, and green spaces in Austin, Texas. This event took place during ACL Music Festival and was hosted by the Austin Parks Foundation, a non-profit organization with a mission to make parks healthier, safer, and more accessible for every Austinite. They are dedicated to preserving what makes Austin so great, and Austin Subaru has had the pleasure of partnering with them on several initiatives. Party for the Parks is a fantastic way to get the community involved in supporting a great cause, all while having a blast and enjoying awesome music! Austin Subaru was proud to support this impactful event with a $10,000 sponsorship and we look forward to collaborating with the Austin Parks Foundation in the future!

Austin Subaru is proud to share our heartfelt appreciation for the opportunity to host a 90’s-themed benefit concert at The Haute Spot in support of the Cedar Park Library. This fun-filled evening transported us all back to the era of iconic music and neon colors, creating the perfect backdrop for a night of community, dancing, and nostalgia! Austin Subaru’s $12,500 sponsorship is dedicated to the Cedar Park Library Foundation, which helps enrich our community through access to knowledge, culture, and learning opportunities. Libraries are more than just buildings filled with books—they are safe spaces that foster curiosity, inspire creativity, and serve as vital resources for people of all ages. This partnership reflects our deep commitment to giving back to the communities we are a part of. By combining the joy of a 90’s party with the meaningful purpose of supporting the library, we were able to create an unforgettable experience for everyone involved. We are grateful for the chance to support such a meaningful cause, while also enjoying an evening of throwback tunes, vibrant energy, and connection with our neighbors.

In September, Austin Subaru was thrilled to support Puppy Mill Awareness Day, an annual day of educating the community on what really goes on in puppy mills. These are commercial breeding operations where dogs live in deplorable conditions, often deprived of proper medical care, socialization, and love. The dogs are treated as mere commodities, leading to numerous health issues and emotional trauma. Our commitment to shining a light on these issues is essential in fostering change and advocating for animal welfare. In support of Puppy Mill Awareness Day, Austin Subaru did a $2,500 sponsorship which directly supports organizations in Austin that rescue dogs from puppy mills, providing them with the veterinary care and rehabilitation they desperately need. This funding will help cover essential medical support, ensuring these animals receive the treatment necessary to thrive in loving homes. Austin Subaru believes that if we all work together, we can help raise awareness and take significant steps towards a future where all dogs are treated with the kindness and respect they deserve. We are grateful for the opportunity to improve the lives of so many puppies!

Our team at Wild Birds Unlimited is so grateful to have Austin Subaru as a loyal partner! Each year, we receive numerous requests from local schools and parks for birdseed and feeders, so they may continue to preserve wildlife and allow birds to flourish in their environment. Austin Subaru has generously sponsored us with over $10,000 in the last year, and it's because of them that we have been able to fulfill nearly every single request from the local schools and parks! We are beyond grateful to have Austin Subaru by our side as we work to spread the joys of bird feeding in our community. They have supported us for the last couple of years, and we feel as though we will never be able to fully express just how thankful we are for their generosity. For those who are not aware of what Wild Birds Unlimited is, we are a nature shop here in Central Texas that works hard to support birds and allow them to flourish. We feel it is our duty to care for them and educate the community on how they can do their part. Austin Subaru has made a huge difference in our organization and we look forward to future partnerships with them!

For over a decade, Austin Subaru has proudly stood by Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) in support of their mission to save animals at risk of euthanasia. This year, on August 25th, we gathered for a day filled with joy, purpose, and compassion at our annual Paddle for Puppies event, benefitting the Parvo ICU at APA!. Parvovirus, a highly contagious disease, poses a deadly threat to puppies, attacking their gastrointestinal systems and, without proper care, often leading to devastating loss. At Austin Subaru, we believe that when there is a need in our community, it is our responsibility to step in. For 13 years, Paddle for Puppies has been our way of doing just that. As always, this year's event took place at Rowing Dock on Lady Bird Lake, where participants chose between canoes, kayaks, or paddle boards to float on the lake. This event was open to dogs as well and we made sure proper precautions were taken so they could safely enjoy the adventure right alongside their humans. Paddling on the lake is an Austin classic, and it's extra fun when you're doing it for a great cause! Paddle for Puppies has always been a cause close to our hearts, and this year was no exception. We are proud to announce that we raised over $21,000 from registrations and t-shirt sales, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Austin Pets Alive! and their Parvo ICU. With this money, the puppies struggling with Parvovirus will have a second chance at the life they deserve. Hosting Paddle for Puppies is the highlight of our year, and we are incredibly grateful to Austin Pets Alive! for the incredible work they do to protect pets at risk of euthanasia. To everyone who participated, thank you for joining us on this journey and making such a meaningful impact. We look forward to doing it all over again at Paddle for Puppies 2025!

Austin Subaru is proud to be partnering with Firefly Aerospace, an organization paving the way for space exploration! This partnership with them feels so natural, as their vision of making space accessible to everyone, everywhere, resonates deeply with us. Subaru’s own inspiration is rooted in the stars, specifically the Pleiades constellation, and at Austin Subaru, we’re constantly driven to reach higher levels and push boundaries. When we first learned about the remarkable work happening at Firefly Aerospace, we knew we had to find a way to support their hardworking team and make a true impact. Firefly's 200-acre Rocket Ranch, just outside Austin, is where the future of space transportation is being built, one groundbreaking step at a time. Our team got an inside look at what goes on at Firefly Aerospace, and one of the first things we noticed is that these people do everything from start to finish, all at once, in the same location. To make their daily lives a little easier, Austin Subaru, along with our sister store Subaru of Georgetown, proudly provided 10 specially equipped Subaru's, aka "rocket ranchers", designed to give Firefly employees a source of reliable transportation as they continue to do life-changing work. These rocket ranchers are more than just vehicles - they're supporting a mission. Each time a Firefly employee takes the wheel, Austin Subaru is supporting them in their mission to advance space travel. While these 10 rocket ranchers will aid Firefly employees on the job, Austin Subaru felt it was important to support them in their personal lives as well. As a result, we've developed an exclusive VIP program just for Firefly employees, offering special incentives on Subaru vehicles. Whether they're at the ranch working to advance humanity toward the stars or they're off duty, Austin Subaru wants to make sure the team at Firefly Aerospace is well-supported and cared for. We are honored to stand by them both on and off the job. This is only the beginning, and Austin Subaru is proud to stand by Firefly Aerospace!

Austin Subaru was honored to be the presenting sponsor for Brazil Day ATX, held at The Haute Spot, a music venue in Cedar Park, Texas, where we’ve had the pleasure of hosting numerous benefit concerts. This event was particularly special as it supported Cultura Brasil Austin, a non-profit dedicated to preserving and promoting Brazilian culture through folklore, history, language, and vibrant artistic expressions like dance, music, and theater. Austin, with its rich cultural diversity, is a true melting pot, and we take immense pride in celebrating the unique traditions and stories that make our community so vibrant. By partnering with Cultura Brasil Austin, we help ensure that the living traditions of Brazilian culture continue to thrive in the heart of Texas. Austin Subaru was proud to present this benefit concert and do a $20,000 sponsorship. We look forward to many more opportunities to celebrate the beauty of our city’s cultural heritage.

Austin Subaru believes that everyone deserves to feel loved and accepted. This past August, we were proud to participate in the 2024 Austin Pride Parade, a yearly celebration that uplifts and unites our vibrant LGBTQIA+ community. We’ve always believed that love and acceptance should know no boundaries, and by joining in on this year's Austin Pride Parade, we were able to demonstrate these values in a fun and collaborative way! This parade is a celebration, but it also plays a crucial role in supporting The Austin Pride Foundation, a local non-profit dedicated to educating, resourcing, and connecting the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) community in Austin, Texas. Through their work, this non-profit organization empowers individuals and fosters a more inclusive and supportive community, and we are proud to contribute to their important mission. Austin Subaru was thrilled to walk in the parade with our pride-themed Subaru Ascent! Decked out in vibrant colors and representing the love and unity we stand for, it served as a symbol of our dedication to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. We couldn’t have been more proud to see our Subaru leading the way in such an important celebration, rallying the community with joy and inclusivity. Austin Subaru's decision to sponsor the event comes from our deep-rooted commitment to supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, both within our dealership family and throughout Austin. We proudly stand with our LGBTQIA+ friends, family, colleagues, and customers, ensuring that Austin Subaru is a place where everyone feels welcomed and valued. In line with this commitment, Austin Subaru was thrilled to do a $35,000 sponsorship at the Austin Pride Parade - 100% of which will go towards The Austin Pride Foundation's mission. This annual event is a beacon of hope, unity, and love, and Austin Subaru is grateful to have had the opportunity to contribute to such a powerful event that brings our community closer together. We look forward to continuing our support for LGBTQIA+ causes and being a part of this incredible celebration for years to come!

Thank you Austin Subaru for continuing to support the Caritas Community Kitchen year after year! The team here at Caritas of Austin is so grateful for your continued support through the many initiatives we do to help families in Austin who are struggling with homelessness. Our organization is based on the idea that when people have a stable place to call home, they can realize their full potential. Everyone is capable of contributing positive things to the community - some people just need a little more support in getting to that point. Caritas of Austin believes that nobody deserves to go without food, shelter, a stable job, or access to educational opportunities. For this reason, we have many programs and events aimed to help people and families struggling with homelessness. The Caritas Community Kitchen is such a key part of our cause because it gives those struggling with homelessness access to something most of us take for granted - a nutritious, freshly cooked meal. Each weekday, we open our community kitchen to the public and serve proper meals to those who need it most. As a volunteer-based organization, we lean on the community to assist us in executing the community kitchen and ensuring it runs smoothly. Austin Subaru has been a steadfast volunteer and sponsor of ours for several years now, and we are so grateful for their sponsorship of $20,000 towards the Caritas Community Kitchen. As a direct result of Austin Subaru's support, Caritas of Austin has been able to provide nutritious meals to over 7,000 people, help people improve their physical well-being, offer a hub for volunteering and philanthropic giving, and create an enjoyable dining area where people can enjoy a meal in a safe space. We are so grateful for the team at Austin Subaru, and we look forward to partnering with them again in the future!

From all of us here at Austin Pets Alive!, thank you to Austin Subaru for your generous contribution as presenting sponsor of our Pours for Pets event! With your support, we have not only helped fund a fun and engaging way for our community to explore Austin’s vibrant food and beverage scene but also made a significant impact on the lives of countless cats and dogs in need. I am thrilled to be writing this story about Pours for Pets and Austin Subaru's continued support! For those who are not familiar with Pours for Pets, here is how the event worked. From July 1st to July 31st, anyone who chose to participate in Pours for Pets purchased a "passport" from Austin Pets Alive!. This "passport" was essentially a voucher that could be used at any of the participating bars or restaurants in Austin. All they had to do was show up to the restaurant/bar, present their passport, and they would receive one select beverage free of cost with use of the passport. All of the proceeds earned from the passports and select drinks were given to help Austin Pets Alive! save innocent dogs and cats who have been abandoned. This was such an amazing way to get the community involved in supporting our no-kill animal shelter, as well as support the local bars/restaurants in Austin that tend to be overlooked! Austin Pets Alive! is grateful to have hosted this month-long event, and we could not have made it happen without the help of Austin Subaru. I am not just referring to the $3,000 sponsorship they did for Pours for Pets. For over a decade, they have stuck by us through several initiatives. Anytime we need a helping hand, they are here for us in a moments notice. We have been able to transform the lives of so many pets in need because of the continuous love and support Austin Subaru has shown us, and that really means something. Pours for Pets was a massive success, and we really appreciate Austin Subaru helping us rally the community and support us throughout the event. We love having Austin Subaru as our partner and we look forward to doing more events with them in the future!

We are honored to have their team as part of our journey and look forward to the incredible future we’ll build together!

Austin Subaru loves veterans, and we believe it is our duty to support all veterans who have served in our country's military services. In recognition of 4th of July, we were thrilled to host a benefit concert to raise support for the Veterans Memorial Plaza and America's Warrior Partnership. Based in Georgetown, Texas, the Veterans Memorial Plaza honors various Williamson County residents who have given their lives in either World War I, World War II, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, and the Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. Each year, they hold Memorial Day and Veterans Day Services where they invite the community to come out and remember those who sacrificed everything for the good of our country. America's Warrior Partnership is a non-profit organization with a mission to prevent veteran suicide, a tragic issue impacting several families in the community. They believe there are not enough practical solutions to identify and solve what is causing veteran suicide, and they are actively working to change this. Austin Subaru is so inspired by both of these organizations, and we felt it was important to do something special to show our gratitude for their amazing work. On 4th of July weekend, we were proud to host a benefit concert at The Haute Spot in Cedar Park, Texas! Lee Greenwood, best known for his American country music, was at this event and performed some of his most notable patriotic songs. Austin Subaru is grateful for the Veterans Memorial Plaza and America's Warrior Partnership, and we're happy to be partnered with The Haute Spot for impactful events such as this. As part of this benefit concert, Austin Subaru was thrilled to do a $30,000 sponsorship for the non-profit organizations. We look forward to continuing our support for the veterans who put everything on the line for our country!

Austin Subaru believes that no child should have to face a devastating illness without their family by their side at all times. Having a sick child in the hospital creates a tremendous amount of emotional and financial stress for families, and with everything going on, the last thing they should have to worry about is "I want to be with my child in the hospital, but where will I sleep? The hospital bills are piling up... how will I be able to afford food/bills? How can I properly tend to my sick child in the hospital AND balance the responsibilities in my day-to-day life?". Thankfully, Ronald McDonald House of Central Texas is here to alleviate some of those stresses, and Austin Subaru is so proud to be a partner of theirs! This is an incredible non-profit organization with a mission to give sick children access to what they need most - their families. They have various programs to support families, the most well-known program being named after the organization. Yep, Ronald McDonald House didn't get it's name from nowhere. There is an actual Ronald McDonald House, a "home-away-from-home" for families so they can stay close by their hospitalized child at little to no cost! The Ronald McDonald House provides a comfortable and home-like experience for families, featuring fully functional guest suites, laundry facilities, home cooked meals made by volunteers, fitness centers, play areas for children, entertainment areas, and complimentary bus/taxi vouchers for families that don't have a vehicle. Ronald McDonald House also has family rooms located inside of a few different hospitals in Central Texas, allowing families to rest and regroup in a cozy and quiet area all while being just a few steps away from their child. Emotional and financial stresses are bound to happen when you have a child dealing with an illness, but with the programs offered at Ronald McDonald House, families have peace of mind knowing they are able to properly tend to their child. This is a truly heartwarming mission, and Austin Subaru is thrilled to be part of it. In June 2024, Austin Subaru was proud to present the Champions of the House Celebration, benefitting Ronald McDonald House of Central Texas! The purpose of this event was to bring the community together for a mission-minded event to honor the Champions members and to support the families and children part of the various programs at Ronald McDonald House. It was so wonderful being able to celebrate the amazing people that make Ronald McDonald House a truly remarkable organization. Austin Subaru is passionate about giving back to the community, and by presenting this Champions of the House Brunch, we're thrilled to know everyone felt celebrated and appreciated for all they are doing for this non-profit organization. As part of this event, Austin Subaru was happy to do a $15,000 sponsorship for Ronald McDonald House of Central Texas. We are grateful for everything they do in the Central Texas community!

A heartfelt thank you to Austin Subaru for their incredibly generous $18,000 contribution to the Bark in the Park series with Round Rock Express! Your unwavering support throughout the summer has made a significant impact, and our team at Round Rock Express is beyond grateful. Bark in the Park, hosted at the Dell Diamond, is more than just a dog-friendly event—it's a celebration of community, baseball, and our furry friends. This event brought together people and their pups for an unforgettable experience, blending the joy of America's pastime with the fun of having our four-legged companions by our side. Thanks to Austin Subaru's commitment, fans and their dogs were able to enjoy a season full of tail-wagging fun and baseball memories. We couldn't have done it without you, Austin Subaru—your contribution truly made a difference!

Austin Subaru has been a steadfast supporter of Austin Pets Alive! for many years, and we’re thrilled to express our deep appreciation for their continued sponsorship of our annual Raise a Day event! As a volunteer-run organization, Austin Pets Alive! relies on heartfelt organizations like Austin Subaru to help us give animals who are at risk of euthanasia a second chance at life. While we are in the business of saving lives year-round, Raise a Day is a special day intended to give our supporters a big picture, deep dive into who we are and what goes on behind the scenes to make a difference in the lives of so many cats and dogs. Additionally, this event encourages the community to support our dedicated foster families who are graciously caring for these animals while they wait to find their forever homes. By supporting Raise A Day, contributors are helping us provide supplies, medical/behavioral support, and other resources so that these foster families can continue supporting animals in need. Austin Subaru’s commitment to giving back and inspiring others to support local non-profits shines through in everything they do. Their generous $2,500 sponsorship for this year’s Raise a Day event is just one example of their dedication. We’re incredibly grateful to have Austin Subaru by our side, helping us make each year’s event better than the last. Thank you, Austin Subaru, for your unwavering support of Austin Pets Alive!

Our team at Foster Village is incredibly grateful for Austin Subaru's continuous love and support! Time and time again, they have extended a helping hand to us and they are always happy to provide our organization with anything we need. Each year, Foster Village hosts an annual event called "Growing the Village Is Sweet", a fun and collaborative event that gets the community involved in supporting what Foster Village is all about. For those who are not familiar with our organization, our mission is built around the idea that foster children need more than a system; they need a village. Each day, we work to provide support and resources to foster children and foster parents, connect families to each other, and advocate for community beyond the foster care system. Hosting events like Growing the Village is Sweet is a great way to get the community involved in our cause, and we would not be where we are today without the support from kindhearted people like the team at Austin Subaru. This year's Growing the Village is Sweet event was amazing as always! Here's how the event works - those who participated were given a lemonade stand kit filled with all the supplies needed to create the perfect lemonade stand. Each kit was carefully crafted by Austin Subaru and Foster Village, and each one came with two kids' t-shirts, supplies to make delicious lemonade, and an educational pamphlet that explains foster care in a way that is respectful and easy for children to understand. We provided the supplies, but children had full say in how they were going to decorate their lemonade stands, giving them an opportunity to be creative while supporting the community! Don't worry, hosting a lemonade stand was not the only way to get in on the cause. All of the money earned at each lemonade stand was donated to Foster Village, meaning people could show their support simply by getting a refreshing glass of lemonade! Thanks to Austin Subaru, the Growing the Village is Sweet event went off without a hitch! In addition to helping us facilitate all of the lemonade kits, they generously donated $8,000 to our mission. This money will go towards supporting the foster families in our community who need it most. Thank you, Austin Subaru, for always having our back and being part of our cause! We look forward to partnering up at next year's Growing the Village is Sweet!

From June 1st to June 30th, Austin Subaru proudly hosted the second annual Do Good, Feel Good event, rallying our community to support the incredible non-profit charities in our community. This year, we remained steadfast in our commitment to six extraordinary organizations: Foster Village, Caritas of Austin, Austin Pets Alive!, Waterloo Greenway, Dog Alliance, and The Thinkery! Each of these organizations does something different for our community, and we'd like to take this opportunity to highlight what makes each of them so special. Foster Village continues to stand as a pillar of hope, providing foster children and their families with the vital resources and emotional support they need. Caritas of Austin is on the frontlines, combating homelessness by equipping individuals with education, employment opportunities, nutritious food, and the security of a home. Our long-standing partner, Austin Pets Alive!, has been the lifeline for countless animals, rescuing them from the brink of euthanasia and giving them a second chance at life. Waterloo Greenway remains dedicated to preserving Austin's natural beauty through their expansive 1.5-mile park system, creating green spaces that will be enjoyed for generations to come. The Dog Alliance continues to leave an indelible impact. Through their Hounds for Heroes program, they pair highly trained service dogs with veterans and first responders who were injured in the line of duty. Finally, we've got The Thinkery! This is Austin Subaru's newest pillar partner, and they have a mission to equip all children to be confident, creative thinkers through play-based STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) learning experiences. As you can see, each of these organizations brings something unique and impactful to our community, and Austin Subaru is honored to stand beside them throughout 2024 as a loyal partner. The Do Good, Feel Good event was not only a heartfelt way to give back, but it also offered our customers a chance to join us in making a difference. For every new Subaru sold between June 1st and June 30th, Austin Subaru donated $50 to the client's organization of choice. We believe you don't have to own a Subaru to love Austin Subaru, so there was also an online portal where anyone from anywhere could show their support for these charities. As a result, Austin Subaru was able to raise over $15,000 during the Do Good, Feel Good event - 100% of this was distributed among these six charities so they can continue doing life changing work. Thank you to our six pillar partners for everything you do! Austin Subaru is grateful to share these heartfelt messages from a few of our wonderful partners. "Thanks to Austin Subaru's support through the Do Good Feel Good campaign, Foster Village can continue meeting the critical needs of the thousands of local children intersecting with the child welfare system in the greater Austin area. Through this generous contribution, dozens of families will be equipped with all of the essential items needed to open their homes to children in crisis." - KC Richardson , Foster Village "Austin Pets Alive! is honored and grateful to be considered one of Austin’s favorite nonprofits and are proud to be a recipient for this year's Do Good Feel Good campaign with Austin Subaru's support. These funds will help us continue the life saving work that we do in Central Texas and beyond." - Nigel Fuentes, Austin Pets Alive! "Contributions from Do Good, Feel Good help Caritas of Austin make an impact in our community. With Austin Subaru's support, we are able to provide our neighbors with the resources they need to thrive! Because of Austin Subaru's support and the Do Good, Feel Good event, we have been able to provide safe, stable for over 500 people in Austin this year." - Sydney Smith, Caritas of Austin

On behalf of the Just Keep Livin' Foundation, I am writing to express our heartfelt appreciation for the tremendous impact Austin Subaru has made in the community, especially through our recent car giveaway initiative with them and Riptide Society. This initiative was aimed at supporting high school graduates, and it perfectly embodies the values we hold dear. At the Just Keep Livin' Foundation, we believe in the power of community and the importance of uplifting our youth as they transition into adulthood. Our commitment to making a difference by providing resources, support, and opportunities to those most in need is unwavering. The recent car giveaway initiative is a testament to this dedication and the incredible support we have received from Austin Subaru! We have a longstanding tradition of collaborating with local organizations like Austin Subaru to create positive change. This year's car giveaway had a profound impact on one of our JKL graduates, thanks to the generosity and support of Austin Subaru. They awarded a reliable vehicle to a deserving high school graduate who has overcome significant challenges and shown exceptional dedication to their education and community! Yami, our Just Keep Livin' student from Juan Navarro High School, was selected through a rigorous process that included written submissions and nominations from teachers and administrators. She has excelled academically and has made significant contributions through volunteer work, showcasing a remarkable spirit of giving back to the community. The impact of this initiative extends far beyond the immediate recipient. By providing reliable transportation, Austin Subaru has enabled this young graduate to pursue higher education, support her family, and actively participate in community activities. This car is not just a mode of transport; it is a symbol of hope, a gateway to countless opportunities, and a brighter future. We are deeply grateful to Austin Subaru for their unwavering support and generosity! Your commitment to making a difference has had a lasting impact on Yami's life and our community as a whole. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and exploring new ways to enhance our community impact with Austin Subaru. Together, we can continue to drive positive change and create a better future for all. Thank you, Austin Subaru, for being a vital part of this journey!

At Austin Subaru, we believe everyone should be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of who they are. In May 2024, we were proud to present the Leander Pride Party at The Haute Spot, a benefit concert to raise funds and awareness for the Leander Pride Organization. Did you know that Leander, Texas (located just north of Austin) is one of the fastest growing cities in the country? Austin Subaru is passionate about giving back to the Austin community, and we are thrilled to be extending the love to the surrounding cities. Leander Pride is a non-profit organization with a mission to foster relationships, raise awareness, and make Leander a more inclusive place for LGBTQIA+ community members. They are a relatively new organization, and Austin Subaru was grateful for the opportunity to support them with a benefit concert at The Haute Spot! Austin Subaru loves giving back to the organizations that need it most, and we believe putting on events like this at The Haute Spot is a great way to encourage the community to get involved with us. This was a truly magical evening filled with positive collaboration, great music, and raising awareness for an amazing cause. Pride Month is one of our favorite things to celebrate at Austin Subaru, and we are grateful for this opportunity to support Leander Pride with a benefit concert and $25,000 sponsorship. Thank you to The Haute Spot for giving us an incredible space to host this benefit concert, and thank you to Leander Pride for making a huge difference in the lives of LGBTQIA+ individuals. We are so grateful to be involved in the Leander community!

In May 2024, our team at Caritas of Austin was thrilled to celebrate 60 years as an original Austin non-profit organization! For 60 years, we have proudly served the Austin community by assisting people out of homelessness and providing them with the resources needed to thrive in life. Our mission is to prevent and end homelessness for people in Greater Austin, and we would not be where we are today without the continued love and support from Austin Subaru! Their team has stood by us for several years now, and they are always happy to help us with anything we need - whether it be a volunteer day or a generous donation. In celebration of our 60th anniversary, Austin Subaru hosted the "I Love Caritas So Much" event as part of the Austin Originals Tour, a tour that acknowledges the hardworking non-profits that have been in Austin for a significant number of years. At this event, the team at Austin Subaru had a booth with a fun activity where people could enjoy themselves while supporting a great cause! In addition to being at the event to celebrate our 60th anniversary, Austin Subaru graciously donated $15,000 to our cause. This donation, along with many others Austin Subaru has done for us over the years, allowa us to continue serving homeless people in Austin and helping them achieve greatness. Thank you Austin Subaru for sticking by us! Your support has changed the lives of so many people!

Our team here at Foster Village is so fortunate to have Austin Subaru as a long time partner! The generous contributions they have made over the years have been a huge blessing for our foster families and foster children in Central Texas. From car giveaways to volunteer days and donations, Austin Subaru has always gone above and beyond to support Foster Village and it really means the world to us. The team at Austin Subaru took it to new heights this past May by hosting "Rockin' The Village" at The Haute Spot in Cedar Park, Texas. This was a benefit concert aimed to raise funds and awareness for Foster Village, and it was a truly magical night! This was a fun and collaborative way for everyone to get together and support everything our non-profit organization is working to do for foster children. One of the things we love most about Austin Subaru is they go far beyond the simple act of writing a check. Their team loves giving back to local non-profits like Foster Village and they go the extra mile to host events that will get the community involved. In addition to hosting this epic event for us, the General Manager at Austin Subaru made it a point to give a heartfelt speech about what this partnership means to them. All in all, Rockin' The Village was a smashing success and we could not be more grateful for this meaningful partnership with Austin Subaru. Thank you so much for sticking by our side and supporting us through and through!

Thank you, Austin Subaru, for another great delivery of blankets to oncology patients receiving treatment at St. David's South Austin Cancer Center. Austin Subaru has partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) for many years through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. This year they delivered 80 blankets to patients and donated $5000 to LLS's Urgent Need program. This donation will provide financial assistance for 10 pediatric cancer households. We truly enjoyed participating in this heartwarming delivery with Lisa and her team, and hope to participate again next year!

Dear Austin Subaru, Thank you SO much for supporting our faculty and staff at Wooten Elementary School! Our teachers work extremely hard to foster a positive learning environment for these students, and words cannot describe how grateful we are for your continued generosity and support over the years. As Austin Subaru knows, our school is located in a low income area and we have run into several situations where it was difficult to make ends meet. Unfortunately, access to food and school supplies is not always promised for our students living in low income households, and because our school does not have much money, many of our teachers dip into their own pockets to help these kids out. Our teachers are extremely kind, giving, and hardworking people, and we appreciate Austin Subaru for recognizing their hard efforts. It's not often a group like them comes around, and we are so incredibly thankful. On Teacher Appreciation Day, the team at Austin Subaru treated us to a delicious lunch from Cabo Bob's and they did a $4,000 donation to Wooten Elementary School! Seeing the joy in our teachers' eyes was truly magical. For them, this appreciation lunch was not just about the delicious lunch (although that was pretty sweet!), but the acknowledgement and appreciation for their tireless efforts. Teachers are overlooked far too often, and we hope this incredible gesture from Austin Subaru inspires others to recognize teachers a little more often. Not only did Austin Subaru treat us to a delicious lunch and a donation, but they took the time out of their day to mingle with our teachers and express their appreciation for all they do. This let us know that we mean more to Austin Subaru than the simple act of writing a check. I'd also like to note this is not the first or even second time Austin Subaru has given us a helping hand. For years, they've welcomed us with open arms and have always been willing to help our school in any way possible. They went above and beyond to make Teacher Appreciation Day truly special, and we are forever thankful to have them as our partner in education. THANK YOU AUSTIN SUBARU!

In the warm, sunlit days of May 2024, Austin Subaru was honored to support the 15th annual RED Arena Round-Up, a cherished event benefiting an extraordinary organization known as Riding Equines for the Disabled (RED). This heartwarming event has become a symbol of hope and resilience, highlighting the remarkable efforts of RED, a non-profit that has been dedicated since 2008 to helping children and adults with disabilities reach their fullest potential through the joy and therapeutic power of horseback riding. Riding Equines for the Disabled is more than just a program; it’s a beacon of hope for countless families. It has transformed lives by showing that disabilities do not define the limits of one's potential. Through the rhythmic motion of horseback riding, participants experience a sense of freedom and accomplishment that transcends their everyday challenges. It’s a reminder that everyone, regardless of their abilities, deserves the chance to shine. Over the years, RED has fostered a profound sense of community and belonging. The organization's commitment to involving families and the broader community has created a nurturing environment where inclusivity thrives. This is precisely why Austin Subaru holds RED so close to its heart. We share a steadfast belief that real change is born from community effort and unity. By bringing people together to support such meaningful causes, we are building a stronger, more compassionate world. The 2024 RED Arena Round-Up was a spectacular success, filled with laughter, joy, and a shared sense of purpose. The event featured a range of activities, from horseback riding demonstrations to engaging community games, all designed to celebrate and support the incredible individuals who benefit from RED’s programs. Families gathered, friends reunited, and new bonds were formed, all in the spirit of inclusivity and support. Austin Subaru was deeply grateful to be part of this joyous occasion, and we were thrilled to support with a $10,000 sponsorship! It's an amazing feeling knowing that every cent of this contribution will go towards enriching the lives of so many deserving people. Thank you RED for the amazing work you do for the community!

On behalf of everyone at Saint Louise House, thank you to Austin Subaru for supporting this year's Bubbles and Tea event with a generous $8,000 sponsorship. This is the first time we have partnered with Austin Subaru, and we are extremely grateful that they decided to join our cause! At Saint Louise House, our mission is to support women and children dealing with homelessness and help them transition into healthy independent lives. Women and children are the most vulnerable of the homeless population, and we strive to empower them to break the cycle and overcome homelessness for good. Not only do we assist them with escaping homelessness, but our program provides services that lead to a lifetime of self-sufficiency. Since establishing Saint Louise House, we have served 239 families and 521 children. Within these groups, 100% of children have moved on to the next grade level in school, and 90% of mothers have become self-sufficient. These incredible numbers would not be possible without the support from groups like Austin Subaru, and we are so grateful to have them as a sponsor. This year, we hosted our annual Bubbles and Tea event to benefit the mothers and children of Saint Louise House. We had a terrific turnout, and it was truly heartwarming to see everyone come together for Saint Louise House's cause. The team at Austin Subaru was there to support, which showed us that we mean more to them than a simple act of writing a check. That's what we love about Austin Subaru - their commitment to supporting the community is strong, and it shows through the continuous good deeds they do for organizations like Saint Louise House! Thank you, Austin Subaru, for your generosity!

Austin Subaru is passionate about giving assistance to those who need it most. When our team sees a person in need, we will do everything in our power to provide compassionate and fulfilling support, because nobody deserves to struggle through hardships. This is a story about Monica Painter, a dedicated non-profit worker in Austin, Texas who unexpectedly fell into financial hardship in late 2023. Over holiday break, Monica, her spouse, and their three young children packed into the car to visit their family in Louisiana. At one point in the journey, the family found themselves on a dark road when their vehicle unexpectedly broke down. This happened late at night in an area with no cell service, no towing service, and no Ubers. Monica ended up having to call the police so that a sheriff could tow their vehicle to the nearest dealership. This is when the family received news that the engine in their vehicle was completely toast, and that there was no way of saving it. Monica is a non-profit worker, her spouse is a school teacher, and the two had recently adopted two children out of foster care at this time. As one could imagine, receiving this news was a particularly hard pill to swallow. When Austin Subaru heard the news about the situation Monica and her family were having to deal with, we were eager to jump in and assist. Austin Subaru is very involved with a local non-profit for foster families, so we'd be lying if we said Monica's story didn't hit a soft spot in our hearts. Without hesitation, we decided we would find a way to get Monica and her family into a new vehicle completely free of charge on their end. We knew this process would take a fair amount of effort and time, and we made it our mission to ensure that Monica and her family would not feel any additional stresses. After working behind the scenes for some time, we were able to get Monica into a brand new Subaru Ascent - a vehicle perfect for the whole family! We believe every family deserves a safe and reliable vehicle, and it's moments like this that make us proud to be involved in the community. Monica is a truly inspiring individual, and we are grateful for the opportunity to assist in her time of need.

The 2024 Austin Blues Fest was a huge success, and Austin Subaru was proud to do a $15,000 sponsorship for this event! This annual event is held to raise funds and awareness for Waterloo Greenway, an incredible non-profit organization working to preserve the ecosystem and bring the entire Austin community together. Austin Subaru believes it is our duty to support the planet that is working so hard to support us, and that's why we love Waterloo Greenway so much. Their team is working to create a cleaner, healthier ecosystem for us all, and we are so grateful for everything they do! Another thing we're a fan of at Austin Subaru is GREAT MUSIC, and there was certainly no shortage of that at this year's Austin Blues Festival. Supporting a great cause is always an amazing feeling, but supporting a great cause at a fun, collaborative event - who doesn't love that? We have proudly supported this event for many years, and as a proud partner of Waterloo Greenway, we will continue supporting their mission through volunteer work and sponsorships like this. Thank you, Waterloo Greenway, for everything you are doing for the Austin community. Our team at Austin Subaru is thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of the work you are doing!

Thank you to Austin Subaru for sponsoring this year's Keep Austin Beautiful Day! This is an annual event conducted by our team at Keep Austin Beautiful, and we are so grateful for Austin Subaru's continued support over the years. Our mission is to inspire and educate all Austinites to volunteer together, beautify green spaces, clean waterways, and reduce waste each day so that Austin will one day be the cleanest, most beautiful community. Preserving the environment is so incredibly important, and we believe it is our duty to give back to the planet that works so hard for us each day! While our team has been going strong for many years now, we certainly can't make an impact alone. With Austin Subaru's support, we can continue doing life-changing work in the community! The 2024 Keep Austin Beautiful Day was a massive success, and we are so grateful for Austin Subaru's generous contribution of $10,000! Not only that, but some of the team members were generous enough to join us for the event and help us beautify the community. We love how supportive Austin Subaru is of the community, and we are thankful to be an organization that they continue to support year after year. Thank you, Austin Subaru! We are so excited to continue working with your team!

The 2024 Songs of Hope event was a resounding success, and our team at Caritas of Austin is deeply thankful for the overwhelming support we've received from Austin Subaru! Since 2020, our team at Caritas of Austin has more than doubled our impact, serving over 2,000 individuals in the Austin community who are experiencing homelessness. With steadfast partners like Austin Subaru, we're able to provide crucial assistance, including access to secure and affordable housing, nutritious groceries, educational opportunities, and employment with livable wages, thereby ensuring that each person we assist can build a stable foundation for holistic well-being. Annually, we host our Songs of Hope event to raise funds for our work at Caritas of Austin. It's a fantastic opportunity for everyone to come together, learn more about our organization, and support our cause. We strive to make the event memorable, featuring live music, a silent auction, delectable food, and impactful testimonies from individuals we've had the privilege of assisting out of homelessness. As our 2024 Songs of Hope Presenting Sponsor and Subaru Loves to Help Partner, Austin Subaru has generously contributed $25,000 to the Songs of Hope event, ensuring that we can continue providing essential resources to those who have experienced or are experiencing homelessness. At this year's Songs of Hope as a whole, we were able to raise over $630,000 to give people in need a place to call home! With these funds, we will be able to provide over 500 months of rent assistance, help 63 families transition into safe and affordable housing, provide 5,400 mental health counseling sessions, provide utility and bill assistance to over 1,260 individuals, cover co-pay prescriptions for 2,520 people for up to 10 months, and serve over 126,000 nutritious meals in our Community Kitchen. Isn't that remarkable? Just like our partner Austin Subaru, Caritas of Austin believes that our community thrives when we unite to make a difference. We're thrilled about our ongoing partnership with a brand that embodies love and community giving! Check out the attached YouTube link to see how spectacular this event truly was!

On behalf of everyone here at The Dog Alliance, thank you to Austin Subaru for being the Presenting Sponsor of our annual Fetch! event. This is a fun and collaborative way to raise funds directly used for training our service dogs and therapy dogs. We believe supporting a great cause is always better when it's made to be a fun game, and that's exactly what this was! Here's how it worked - participants could purchase a tennis ball for the Fetch! event, and all of the proceeds went towards our mission at The Dog Alliance. On the day of the event, we had over 300 numbered tennis balls laid out on our agility field for the dogs to retrieve. For every numbered ball retrieved from the "field of play", the individual donor assigned that number ball would win a grand prize. A ton of time, effort, coordination, and care went into putting this event together, and we could not have done it without the love and support we received from Austin Subaru! They have supported us in numerous initiatives, and this one was just another symbol of their generosity and dedication to The Dog Alliance. Thank you so much Austin Subaru for your gift of $15,000 towards this event! We look forward to Fetch! 2025!

It's that time again! In March 2024, Austin Subaru hosted the 2nd annual Ready, Set, Rally event to celebrate Rally's birthday (Austin Subaru's ambassadog) and to raise awareness for the various non-profit organizations we are partnered with. This year's party was a smashing success, and we'd like to give a special thank you to Moontower Saloon for welcoming us with open arms and letting us use their space as a venue. Rally's party took place on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon, and it was wonderful to have everyone come out to celebrate his birthday. There were plenty of family-friendly activities and pet-friendly activities, so it was bound to be a great time no matter who you were! Our non-profit partners were invited out to set up stations showcasing the incredible work each of their organizations are doing for the Austin community, and it brought smiles to our faces to see so many people approaching them & learning about their initiatives. Austin Subaru is passionate about serving the Austin community, and we felt it was important to give our non-profit partners the opportunity to gain awareness for their amazing causes. At the Austin Subaru station, we had "spin-the-wheel" where guests could win various cool prizes for their dogs such as tennis balls, water bowls, waste cleanup bags, and other dog toys. Even more exciting, we had various raffle prizes up for grabs and 100% of the proceeds earned from raffle tickets were donated to our non-profit partners. We are proud to announce that over $7,500 was raised at Ready, Set, Rally - all of which was given to our non-profit partners to assist them in continuing their missions. We feel it is our duty to get the community involved in supporting these non-profits, and what better way to do this than throw an awesome event where people can have fun while doing a good deed? Austin Subaru is thankful to be part of this community, and we will continue working each day to give back to the non-profits working hard to create a better world for us all. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who joined us on this special day. We'd also like to thank all of our non-profit partners who took the time out of their day to come out and teach the community about their initiatives. With all of the funds earned from the Austin Subaru raffle, we were able to donate $500 to each of these organizations. We can't wait for Ready, Set, Rally 2025! Foster Village, Rally Ready Driving School, Caritas of Austin, Austin Pets Alive, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Dog Alliance, Keep Austin Beautiful, Austin Parks Foundation, Red Arena, Waterloo Greenway, Ronald McDonald House, Thinkery, Tree Folks, RBI Austin, Candlelight Ranch, PEAS, and Ancora Ministries.

Dear Austin Subaru, Thank you so much for being our Court Sponsor at The Big Pickle event on March 22nd! Our team here at Friends of the Children Austin happens to think your generous contribution of $25,000 is a pretty big DILL, and we greatly appreciate your support. For those who are not aware of what we do, Friends of the Children Austin connects children - all of whom have their own special talents - to a professional mentor called a "Friend". We hire and train Friends whose full-time jobs are solely to support our youth and help them persevere through difficult situations. These Friends are committed to guiding children ages 4-12+ and helping them reach their max potential. Friends of the Children Austin is part of the national network of Friends of the Children chapters across the United States. We are currently serving 185 children in Austin, ranging in age from kindergarten through sixth grade. Austin Subaru's support allows us to continue providing intentional, enriching, one-on-one time with the youth in our program, and we'd like to take this opportunity to thank them for supporting The Big Pickle event this year! We're proud to say that the second annual Big Pickle event was a smashing success! The Big Pickle is a pickleball tournament we host to raise awareness for our mission at Friends of the Children. It's a super fun and collaborative way to get the community involved in what we do, and we can't thank Austin Subaru enough for being part of it. The tournament took place at Riverside Country Club on a beautiful spring day, and more than 120 teams competed in our women's, men's and mixed divisions to raise vital funds for our organization. We are excited to expand out life-changing program to more children in need of a Friend, and its amazing organizations like Austin Subaru that give us the opportunity to continue doing this. We look forward to keeping the Austin Subaru team updated on our progress, and we are so thankful for this new partnership with them!

Thank you Austin Subaru for sponsoring Anderson High School's Project Graduation in 2024! Your unwavering support made it possible for us to give our graduating class the celebration they deserve, and for this, we are extremely grateful. This truly was a night to remember, as the AHS seniors had the opportunity to reminisce about their time in high school and look ahead to their exciting plans for the future. These past 4 years have been an obstacle for these kids, with there being a pandemic and so many crazy events happening around the world. It's easy to get discouraged in times of trouble, yet our students have never failed to push through. These kids have worked so hard to get to where they are now, and we felt it was important to reward them with an epic party! We've heard so many stories about Austin Subaru doing numerous good deeds in the Austin community, and after working with them on this event, I can honestly say they are some of the most generous and giving people around. They were kind enough to sponsor this event with $7,000, which helped us in so many ways to make this night special for the graduating seniors! We love Austin Subaru's mission of supporting the community, and we look forward to continuing our relationship with their awesome team.

Austin Subaru is proud to support RBI Austin, an incredible non-profit organization that is serving as a beacon of hope for youth athletes in the Austin area. Their mission is truly inspiring, as they work hard to connect kids to mentor relationships, make sports affordable, help players develop both on and off the field, and close the gap between the lower and middle class. In January 2024, Austin Subaru was honored to be the presenting sponsor for this year's Now At Bat Gala benefitting RBI Austin! This event is an incredible way to raise support and awareness for RBI Austin's amazing cause. This organization started in 2009 as a grassroots summer baseball team of only 15 kids. Fast forward to today, over 1,400 kids ages 4-18 are part of RBI Austin, with 91 different teams and over 500 volunteers! Today's children are our future, and Austin Subaru believes it is imperative to provide them with the resources needed to thrive in the community. Austin Subaru is a huge fan of RBI Austin's work, and we were thrilled to donate $45,000 to the Now At Bat Gala. We are passionate about giving back to the community, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with RBI Austin!

At Ronald McDonald House, we believe nothing is more important than family, and each family deserves the resources to properly care for their children. Many families in our region have children with severe illnesses, and we believe it is our duty to support them. Our mission is to care for families with severely ill or injured children and ensure they are well-supported through the most difficult of times. In January 2023, Austin Subaru was generous enough to support our Adopt a Family Room program, a program that allows families to stay in the Family Rooms at Dell Children’s Hospital. By doing this, families are able to live in a comfortable setting while being just a few steps away from their ill or injured child. These families have enough on their plate, and being able to properly tend to their children is not something they should have to worry about. Austin Subaru has partnered with us a few times in the past, and we are grateful for them continuing to be part of our mission! When they shared with us that they’d be doing a $10,000 sponsorship for our Adopt a Family Room program, we truly did not know what to say. On the day that we were presented with this generous donation, we were warmly greeted by Chris Hudson (GM of Austin Subaru) and a few members of his team. It meant the world to have them there with us, and we cannot wait to see how many lives this contribution will change! This donation will serve to help many families in the Adopt a Family Room program, and we appreciate them more than words can say. Thank you, Chris and the Austin Subaru team, for continuing to support your community!

Think for a moment about what a good meal means to you. For most of us, it’s something we don’t spend much time considering because we know food is easily accessible. For others, the uncertainty of when or if the next meal will be available is a looming thought. At Austin Subaru, we believe no child should have to go without a meal, which is precisely why we decided to partner with Ancora Ministries in January 2024. Ancora Ministries is a non-profit organization with a mission to heal malnourished children in Texas and Guatemala, and they believe if we all work together, starvation among children can be a thing of the past. When Austin Subaru learned about this incredible organization and the research behind its mission, we could not believe what we read. Every 10 seconds, a child dies from hunger somewhere in the world. 20% of children in Texas alone are experiencing malnutrition, and 50% of all children in Guatemala suffer from chronic malnutrition. These statistics should be alarming to anyone! Since 2020, Ancora Ministries has provided necessities like food, education, and medical treatments to over 15,000 people in Guatemala and 16,000 people in Central Texas. While these numbers are impressive, they still need a ton of help to reach their goal and Austin Subaru was thrilled to support them by any means necessary. In January 2024, Austin Subaru did a $20,000 sponsorship for the Feed Kids BackPack program in support of Ancora Ministries. Each backpack contained breakfast items like cereal/oatmeal/granola bars, easy-to-prepare meals, bread, juice boxes, fresh or canned fruits and vegetables, and various snacks for kids to enjoy. No child deserves to go to bed with an empty stomach, and Austin Subaru is inspired by the work Ancora Ministries is doing in our community to ensure each child receives proper nutrition. We look forward to continuing to support this incredible organization and others like it!

Our team at The Dog Alliance is eternally grateful for the continued support we receive from Austin Subaru! They have partnered with us on many occasions to help us raise awareness for our cause, particularly our Hounds for Heroes program which provides service dogs to veterans as a system of support and companionship. Panini, one of our service dogs, recently had her first litter of 8 puppies, and we could not be more excited! Eventually, these puppies will follow in the footsteps of their momma to become life-changing service dogs for veterans in need. Around here, Panini’s babies are known as “The Sidekicks”, and we are so proud of how they are progressing through early development. Austin Subaru was generous enough to support The Sidekicks with a $15,000 sponsorship for their upcoming training sessions. Since we are a smaller organization, this contribution makes the world of a difference to our mission, and we will be able to achieve great things for Panini and her babies. Not only was Austin Subaru here to support us financially, but they continuously checked in to see how Panini was doing throughout and after her pregnancy, and to see if there was anything they could do to further assist with her journey in navigating motherhood. We are thrilled to announce that Panini and her little Sidekicks are healthy and happy and they have become more socialized within the Austin community. All in all, this partnership with Austin Subaru has been a blessing, and we look forward to continuing some amazing work with them in 2024. Thank you so much, Austin Subaru, for being a fan of what we do here at The Dog Alliance!

Our team at Austin Pets Alive! is thrilled to share a heartwarming story about a sweet puppy named Alva. For over 12 years, Austin Subaru has played a prominent role in our mission and it's because of their support that we're able to tell inspiring stories like this one. Alva was diagnosed with a neurological condition that keeps her from being able to adequately control her movement, and as a result, she remained in a fearful state for most of the time. She spent over 500 days living at Austin Pets Alive!, and while we were doing our best to provide Alva with what she needed, she had been through a lot and needed extra care. Not only was she struggling with her condition, but in that 500 days she was adopted and returned to Austin Pets Alive! to no fault of her own which can be a very traumatizing experience. Little did Alva know, she was on her way to a brighter and happier future. After working extensively to treat her condition and build up her self confidence through various training programs, Alva was spotted on Instagram by an adopter and they began visiting her at APA! each day to build a trusting relationship with her. After two months of this, the adopter finally brought her home and Alva is currently living the amazing life that she deserves! While Alva's story is significant and holds a special place in our hearts, she's not alone in what she's experienced. Here at APA!, we regularly receive cats and dogs with medical conditions who are in need of treatment that other shelters cannot provide due to high costs. Oftentimes, we are their last hope and if it weren't for Austin Subaru sticking by us through all of these years, we honestly wouldn't be able to provide as many at-risk and overlooked pets with a second chance to find a loving home. 2023 was particularly special because not only did Austin Subaru support us as they've done for many years, but they pledged to have us as their Subaru Loves Pets Pillar Partner for the entire year. Through this year, we really strengthened our partnership more than ever before and we are so thankful that they have pledged to have us as their partner yet again in 2024. Thank you, Austin Subaru, for giving us the opportunity to tell wonderful stories like Alva's!

Austin Subaru, thank you so much for sponsoring this year's Beautifully Loved Fashion Show! This event is everything to our team, and I'd like to take this opportunity to shout out Austin Subaru and provide some information about why their support for Beautifully Loved is so important. Here at Beautifully Loved, our mission is to provide care and empowerment to people struggling with chronic illnesses, as well as their family members. Not only are the illnesses tough, but the treatments that go along with them are time-consuming and energy draining, so that leaves little desire to put the effort in to properly care for themselves. For those caring for a family member with an illness, all of their energy is going into caring for their loved one, so the same issue applies to them as well. That is where Beautifully Loved comes in, because by providing experiences that promote wellness, beauty, and fashion for these special patients and their families fighting through hardship, we want to remind them that they are seen, valued, and overwhelmingly loved. We want them to know that, while they may not have the resources or energy to fully care for themselves, we are here for them and are always thinking of ways to bring them joy and confidence. Our annual Beautifully Loved Fashion Show is a fantastic way to recognize pediatric patients and help them shine from the inside out! Each model in the fashion show is a patient from Dell Children's Hospital, McLane Children's and other surrounding children's hospitals, and this event truly is the highlight of the year for them. Before they hit the runway, all of the kids are pampered with professional hair and makeup services, dressed in clothes from boutiques around Austin, and they get to do an exclusive photo shoot. This is all incredibly important because during these moments, they're not thinking about the cancer or other illness they're battling, and they're not worrying about the struggles they are going through in their day-to-day life. In these moments, they get a vital boost of confidence and are reminded of how beautiful, strong, and inspiring they are! A lot of time and resources are needed to make sure this event goes off without a hitch each year, and Austin Subaru has been a huge supporter in the years that we have been doing this event. Their team genuinely cares for these kids as much as we do, and having them by our sides through this has meant more than words can express. This year, Austin Subaru did a sponsorship of $5,000 for the Beautifully Loved Fashion Show, and we look forward to continued partnerships with them!

For over 12 years, Austin Subaru has been a huge supporter of Austin Pets Alive (APA!), a non-profit organization that rescues animals who are at the highest risk for euthanasia. These poor animals are innocent and fully capable of being part of a loving family; all they need is a little bit of support. Austin Subaru knows that APA! can't do all of this hard work on their own and that's why we've been committed to them for so long. We love their mission, and we believe it is our duty to support them in any way we can. In September 2023, APA! hosted their 12th annual No Kill Anniversary party, an amazing way for them to celebrate being the longest-running no-kill community in the country. The event featured live music, an adoptable kitten/puppy "petting zoo", and the announcement of which APA! dog or cat would wear the Mayor of Pawstin title! The Mayor of Pawstin represents a pet who has shown resilience in overcoming health struggles, is always loving and kind, and remains positive and strong in their journey to finding their forever home. This years finalists were General Erasmus Dickinson (cat) and Mindy (dog) - how sweet is that! This event was not only fun but also a great way for the community to come together to raise support and awareness for APA!. Austin Subaru was thrilled to sponsor this event with $15,000 with the intent of supporting these animals who so desperately need a helping hand. For our team, it's not about simply cutting a check. Rather, we can't help but feel a hit to the heart when we hear about these animals at risk of euthanasia, and we really want to see them thrive in healthy & happy living conditions. We are proud of our partnership with APA! and are thrilled to be part of their important mission. We only hope our donation to this event can make a real difference in a pet's life and inspire others to support APA's mission!

This year's Songs of Hope event was an absolute success, and our team at Caritas of Austin is extremely grateful for the overwhelming support we've received from Austin Subaru! Since 2020, Caritas of Austin has doubled our impact, serving over 1,800 individuals in the Austin community who are experiencing homelessness. By having dedicated partners like Austin Subaru, we are able to help people get access to safe/affordable housing, nutritious groceries, education opportunities, and employment with livable wages - ensuring that each person we serve has a stable foundation so they may achieve holistic well-being. Each year, we host our Songs of Hope event benefitting the work we do at Caritas of Austin, and this is a super fun way for everyone to come together to learn more about our organization and support our cause. We really try our best to make the event as wonderful as possible, featuring live music, a silent auction, delicious bites, and personal stories shared by some of the people we've had the pleasure of helping over time. As our 2023 Songs of Hope Presenting Sponsor and Subaru Loves to Help Partner, Austin Subaru generously donated $25,000 to the Songs of Hope event, and they have helped ensure that we can deliver much needed resources to members who have experienced/are experiencing homelessness. As a key supporter of our organization, Austin Subaru has helped us provide people in need with over 500 months of rent, 224 move-in's and transitions out of homelessness into safe/affordable housing, 5,600 mental health counseling sessions, utility assistance for over 1,500 months, prescriptions for up to 2,000 months, and up to 112,000 nutritious meals in our Community Kitchen. Now, how incredible is that!? Just like our partner Austin Subaru, Caritas of Austin knows that our community is most vibrant when we come together to make a difference, and we are so excited for this continued partnership with a brand that is all about love and giving back to the community!

Participating in the Austin Pride Parade this year was an absolute delight for the team at Austin Subaru! It marked an extraordinary day of solidarity with The Austin Pride Foundation, an entirely volunteer-driven organization dedicated to educating, resourcing, and uniting the LGBTQ community here in Austin. At Austin Subaru, we firmly believe that every individual deserves to be accepted unconditionally, no matter their identity. The Austin Pride Foundation has, through its outstanding work, extended that message of acceptance to countless people in need, and we were honored to support them at this years Pride Parade and Festival. The Austin Pride Parade served as a vibrant, joyous platform to celebrate the incredible work carried out by this foundation. For us, it was an honor to express our support through a $25,000 sponsorship, but the excitement doesn't end there. The team at Austin Subaru was not content with simply signing a check, and it was imperative that we get involved with this special day that inspires so many each year. We hit the parade route with our Subaru Ascent, decked out so that it screams "PRIDE" when you see it. It was an exhilarating experience, and we had an absolute blast handing out signature Austin Subaru Pride merch to all of the attendees in the crowd. The day was not just about a parade; it was about coming together as a community to support a noble cause. It was about celebrating diversity, love, and acceptance. It was about standing up for the values that we hold dear. In the end, the Austin Pride Parade was a super fun and heartwarming way to show that, at Austin Subaru, we stand with The Austin Pride Foundation and the LGBTQ community. Together, we can create a world where everyone is celebrated for who they are and where love shows no boundaries!

Austin Subaru is proud to support Caritas of Austin, a non-profit organization acting as a beacon of hope for those struggling with homelessness in Central Texas. More specifically, the team at Austin Subaru got together to support Caritas' Community Kitchen which is more than just a place to prepare meals; it's responsible for nourishing homeless people who need it the most, because everyone deserves a nutritious and delicious meal, no matter what they are going through in life. Years ago, the team at Austin Subaru decided to join hands with Caritas of Austin and have been supporting their initiative ever since, but 2023 has been different and more special than any of the years prior. At the beginning of 2023, we pledged to have Caritas of Austin as one of our partners for the year, meaning we support them far beyond Share the Love events; rather, we are committed to serving them throughout the entire year! By supporting the Caritas Community Kitchen, we can provide a sense of dignity, belonging, and possibility to those who need all the support they can get. This organization gives so much help to the community, and Austin Subaru feels it is our responsibility to support them right back. As a result, the team at Austin Subaru did a $30,000 sponsorship for Caritas Community Kitchen, but it's crucial to remember what this sponsorship really means. It represents the promise of countless warm meals, the assurance of a safe space for those who have so little, and the belief that together, we can make a difference in the lives of those living amongst us in this community. We are honored to stand by Caritas of Austin as they continue their incredible work, and we look forward to a future where even more individuals have taken the path from hardship to hope!

Our team at Candlelight Ranch is extremely grateful for the love and support Austin Subaru has given to our organization! I'm compelled to write about my experience with Austin Subaru, as their kindness has meant a lot to me, and I hope this story conveys our gratitude for them. For those who are not familiar with our work, Candlelight Ranch focuses on all-things nature because we feel it is so important to be well-acquainted with the environment we live in. We strive to deliver creative, nature-based activities in the beautiful Austin Hill Country, and to do this, we partner with non-profit organizations, schools, and community groups in order to provide interactive learning programs and experiences that will benefit children and their families. One of our many programs is the Military Families in Nature program, which Austin Subaru is generously sponsoring throughout 2023! This fun-filled day gives military families the opportunity to bond together through various collaborative activities, such as guided hikes, team building, low/high ropes courses, zip lines, canyon crawl, fishing, and therapeutic time together in nature. Oftentimes, military families sacrifice the luxury of bonding with loved ones in a meaningful way, so it means a lot that Austin Subaru is partnering with us this year as we help make a difference for these families. Military Day does not only include families of veterans/those still serving - we are here to give our love and support to those who have lost a loved one that served our country. Austin Subaru shares our passion for those actively serving, veterans, and those who have fallen, so this partnership has been incredible in every aspect. Additionally, Austin Subaru donated $20,000 to this program, which helps us so much in providing the tools and resources needed to make Military Family Day go off without a hitch. Candlelight Ranch will forever treasure this partnership, and we look forward to continuing to do great things with Austin Subaru!

On behalf of The Dog Alliance and Board leadership, my colleague Debi and I would like to thank Austin Subaru for enormously contributing to our programs this year! We were honored to have been selected as the 2023 Austin Subaru Loves Veterans Pillar. This alliance has exceeded our expectations as it's truly been a partnership rather than a company writing a check. Austin Subaru has been extremely involved in our cause for the past few years, and we feel lucky to have such a stellar relationship with them. Seeing the Austin Subaru name and logo on the Hounds for Heroes service dog vests has been fun as Panini, Finn, and Ginger have worn them all around Austin! The weekly Public Access Outings to locations including Whole Foods, the Metro station, Kalahari Resorts, Target, and many other businesses draw attention to the importance of service dog training to assist a military veteran. Our handlers and trainers enjoy answering questions from the public about what makes a service dog distinctive from a therapy dog or emotional support dog. It's an educational process and we know folks go away with a better understanding of the role of a well-trained dog. Austin Subaru's extended generosity in supporting Panini with her first litter of puppies is so appreciated! Her delivery date is targeted for mid-November...during Austin Subaru Loves Veterans Month! With an unprecedented demand for service dogs, the required growth of our program lies in producing an increased number of puppies bred specifically for service dog work. We are fortunate to participate with the International Working Dog Breeding Cooperative as a direct benefit of being 1 of only 144 Assistance Dogs International accredited organizations in the world. Together, we follow strict, ethical guidelines for breeding dogs specifically to be trained as service dogs. We are about to set off on a new adventure with our Puppy Whelping Center established to provide consistently appropriate puppies to enter our Hounds for Heroes and Train Your Own Service Dog programs. We're excited to share the energy and excitement with Austin Subaru and its affiliates in the coming months! All in all, Austin Subaru has done an outstanding job as our partner and we are so thankful for their support. From conducting activations for us, to supporting our organization across social media, to simply checking in on us to see how our team is doing and how the dogs are doing, it's amazing how much Austin Subaru really cares about The Dog Alliance. Additionally, we are grateful to be invited to the dealership to visit with their clientele and share information about our service dogs and our therapy dogs. This is an added opportunity extending beyond the generous funding which is invaluable!

The Hounds for Heroes Program is an incredible way to support veterans, and our team here at The Dog Alliance is so grateful for Austin Subaru's support towards this cause! This year, Austin Subaru generously selected The Dog Alliance to be the very first Austin Subaru Loves Veterans partner, which means the world to us considering we need all the love we can get for our organization. For those who are not aware of what we do here at The Dog Alliance, we offer training sessions for dogs to ensure they are well-equipped to improve the lives of individuals and families in our community. We also offer various programs that focus on more specific groups of people in need, like our Hounds for Heroes program, which provides live changing service dogs for veterans and first responders who were disabled in the line of duty. Everybody deserves to have a companion by their side, especially our veterans who have sacrificed so much for the good of this country. To this story, we attached some photos of Panini, a black lab in training to become a veteran service dog. Panini has been in our program for quite some time, and all of the support towards Hounds for Heroes has contributed to her success. She is doing an amazing job, and she is on track to being one lucky veteran's BFF! Our organization is on the smaller side, so when Austin Subaru was eager to be part of our initiative, we were over the moon! What we love about Austin Subaru is it's never been about simply writing a check for them. They've always been happy to help us with whatever we need, like volunteering in the dog training sessions and sprucing up our outdoor scenery for us. For the Hounds for Heroes program, Austin Subaru did a $15,000 sponsorship, which has not only touched our hearts but has also transformed the lives of veterans and their faithful canine companions! Thank you, Austin Subaru, for your generosity and support.

At Austin Subaru, we believe our children are the future and it is imperative that we invest all resources into their success. For this reason, we were proud to be the Summer League Sponsor for RBI Austin throughout the summer of 2023! RBI Austin is a local baseball league that has a mission to engage and aid in the development of Austin youth athletically, academically, and spiritually, empowering them to lead the transformation of their communities. When kids have strong support systems in their lives, they gain confidence in their potential to do incredible things, and that is so important for their growth. Children from under-resourced communities have a more difficult time finding sports teams that are affordable and accessible, so RBI Austin's mission is focused around providing support to children who need it most. As part of our initiative to supporting RBI Austin's amazing cause, Austin Subaru was proud to do a $15,000 sponsorship!

Austin Subaru has strongly supported us at Austin Pets Alive! for several years now, and we wanted to take a moment to come on here and express our gratitude for their generous sponsorship to our annual Raise a Day event! While we are in the business of saving lives and have a passion for doing this year round, we like to have a special day of giving for the animals here at APA! where we invite the community to contribute to our cause. It's also important that the community sees what impact we are making, so for Raise A Day, we give everyone a behind the scenes look at the various live saving programs we have implemented to make our shelter special. Raise A Day is all about getting the community involved in doing meaningful work that you can be proud of, and without the support of Austin Subaru, we would not have been able to pull it off as seamlessly as we did. Austin Subaru is passionate about giving back to the community and encouraging others to get involved in the local non-profit organizations, so having them by our side each year is so helpful. In addition to the work Austin Subaru put in to help us make this seamless, they provided a $2,500 sponsorship for Raise A Day! Thank you, Austin Subaru, for being such a loyal supporter of Austin Pets Alive!

From June 1st to July 4th, Austin Subaru was thrilled to host the first annual Do Good, Feel Good event benefitting some amazing nonprofits in our community. Throughout 2023, our team is committed to supporting 6 incredible organizations - Foster Village, Caritas of Austin, Austin Pets Alive!, Waterloo Greenway, Dog Alliance, and Communities in Schools. Foster Village is working diligently to provide foster children and foster parents with support, along with necessities they need for day-to-day life. Caritas of Austin is targeting the homelessness epidemic in Austin by providing people with the tools they need to attain education, employment, nourishing groceries, and a safe home. Austin Pets Alive! has been a partner of Austin Subaru for almost 15 years, and they are the reason so many innocent, sweet pets in Austin are saved from euthanasia each year. Waterloo Greenway is hard at work to preserve the green spaces and nature in Austin through their 1.5-mile park system. Dog Alliance is a smaller organization in the Austin area, but they are mighty as ever! They utilize well-trained dogs to improve the lives of families, and through their Hounds for Heroes program, they focus on training/pairing service dogs for veterans and first responders who were disabled in the line of duty. Last but not least, Communities in Schools has a mission to surround students with support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve incredible things in life. While completely different from one another, all of these charities are working hard to improve different aspects of our community, and we are so thankful for this! Not only was Do Good, Feel Good an amazing way to give back to these wonderful causes, but it provided an opportunity for the community to get involved right along with us. What's really cool about this is it was similar to a mini Subaru Share the Love® Event . For every new Subaru sold in June, Austin Subaru donated $50 to the client's organization of choice. Afterwards, everyone was given a coin to place in the box of the organization they chose. We understand that opening this up to everyone beyond just our clients was super important, so we had an online voting portal that allowed people to cast their honest vote on who they felt should be our Love Promise partner. It's true that when you do good, you feel good, and we're delighted to say that the first annual Do Good, Feel Good event went off without a hitch! We are so grateful for our amazing 6 Pillar Partners and everything they do for our community.

On behalf of everyone at Austin Bulldog Rescue, thank you to our friends at Austin Subaru for helping a sweet little puppy in need! Phoenix is a French Bulldog puppy who was diagnosed with Parvovirus, and she has been fighting through tough obstacles ever since. As she moved through treatment, it was discovered that the catheter placed in her leg was not managed properly, which caused a serious infection to arise. Parvovirus is a potentially fatal disease on its own, so adding this infection to her fragile little body was extremely heartbreaking for all of us at Austin Bulldog Rescue. Being that we are a smaller organization, we were not sure how we were going to get the resources needed to get Phoenix her treatment. While we certainly were doing what we could, it wasn't enough and it felt like Phoenix's illness was progressing at a rate we couldn't keep up with. This out-of-control feeling is something I would not wish on anyone. Thankfully, the news of Phoenix's dire situation reached the compassionate team at Austin Subaru. Their eagerness to help meant the world to us, and they provided us with news that would change Phoenix's life forever. They told us that they wanted to donate $9,000 towards the Parvovirus vet bills & treatment. This lifted such a huge weight off of our shoulders, and words cannot describe how relieved we were to hear that this adorable puppy would get another shot at life! While Phoenix's condition was on the uphill for a while, she recently had to begin a stronger round of antibiotics due to the infection traveling to her ulna. She is under close observation, and Austin Subaru has been amazing at sticking by our side. With their support, we are able to have peace of mind and put all of our focus into helping Phoenix recover. She even has a group of French Bulldog buddies that keep an eye on her and give her lots of love. We are eternally grateful for Austin Subaru's willingness to support an organization in need!

Austin Subaru is a longtime partner of Austin Pets Alive! (APA!), a no-kill animal shelter in Austin, Texas that saves animals most at risk for euthanasia. They also work to locate animals to foster homes and get them paired with their forever homes. In June, the team at Austin Subaru was proud to support Raise a Day for APA!, an annual day of giving where APA! provides an inside look at the various lifesaving programs that make their shelter special. They made this event super easy to support, as just $25 would provide a week's worth of milk for a whole litter of kittens! Austin Subaru loves pets, and we're so happy that APA! has events like this each year to raise support for all the animals in their shelter. In an effort to support Raise a Day for APA!, Austin Subaru was thrilled to provide a $4,000 sponsorship, which is enough to save a critically injured animal with medical/surgical support, provide basic care for a dog or cat, vaccinate 2 litters of puppies, save the life of one dog or cat with daily necessities, and provide a kennel that shelters 13 dogs per year!

Austin Subaru is a proud supporter of Foster Village, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to supporting foster families by meeting urgent needs, providing educational and emotional support, and advocating as a collective community voice for children. The team at Austin Subaru is a huge fan of the work Foster Village has done over the years, and we are thankful to have them as the Subaru Loves to Care® partner in 2023. Throughout the month of June, Austin Subaru was proud to sponsor Growing the Village is Sweet, an event that raises funds and awareness for Foster Village by hosting lemonade stands in the community. Those who participated were provided with a lemonade stand kit filled with all the supplies needed to create deliciously sweet, ice-cold drinks for the scorching Texas heat. These kits were provided by Austin Subaru and Foster Village, and each one came with two kids' t-shirts, lemonade supplies, and an educational pamphlet that explains foster care in a respectful and kid-friendly way. Hosting these lemonade stands was a great way for families to get involved in the community and support Foster Village. The opportunities to support this event were endless, as participants didn't have to host a lemonade stand to be part of the cause. Simply visiting one of these stands and getting a cold glass of lemonade raised support for Foster Village, as all funds earned go towards their mission! Additionally, local businesses could get involved by selling lemonade-themed merchandise. Austin Subaru believes that everyone should have the opportunity to support great causes like Foster Village, so this event was awesome because it put a fun, easy, and delicious twist on doing good for the community. To extend the support further, the team at Austin Subaru was thrilled to do an $8,000 sponsorship for Foster Village's amazing work! Thank you to everyone who participated in the Growing the Village is Sweet event!

The phrase 'not all superheroes wear capes' rings true, as a simple act of kindness has the remarkable power to save lives. On May 26th, Austin Subaru had the amazing opportunity to partner with We Are Blood, a local blood donation organization, to host a transformative blood drive! We Are Blood set up a mobile unit at Austin Subaru to ensure a seamless and convenient experience for donors. While many of the donors were Austin Subaru team members, we reached out to our community and encouraged everyone to come give blood if it was a possibility for them. Additionally, any customers we had in the dealership had the opportunity to donate blood if they chose to, and many did! Austin Subaru's bustling dealership transformed into a haven of hope and altruism as community members from all walks of life gathered to contribute their lifesaving gift. Austin Subaru's team and We Are Blood volunteers worked harmoniously to ensure a smooth flow of donors, addressing any concerns and making each participant feel comfortable throughout the process. This blood drive not only highlighted the importance of giving blood but also emphasized the power of collective action. The team at Austin Subaru is grateful for We Are Blood's assistance in making this a seamless day, and we are thankful for everyone who pitched in with giving blood! Austin Subaru looks forward to doing more activations like this in the future that will support the community.

Teachers work tirelessly to set their students up for success, and it's imperative to show them how much they are appreciated. Unfortunately, there are too many cases where teachers do not receive the love they deserve, and the team at Austin Subaru believes something should be done about that. On May 12th, Austin Subaru was excited to host an appreciation lunch for the teachers at Wooten Elementary School! As a school located in an economically diverse area, Wooten Elementary needs all the support it can get. This appreciation lunch was Austin Subaru's way of saying 'thank you' to these incredible teachers. Let's be honest, who doesn't love being thanked with delicious food? On this day, team members from Austin Subaru delivered authentic pizzas from DeSano Pizzeria, as well as pasta salad, Greek salad, and quality desserts from Central Market. Wooten Elementary is located just around the corner from Austin Subaru and DeSano, so the pizzas were practically fresh out of the oven when they arrived. Not only was this lunch for teachers, but it was also for everyone at the school who is contributing to the success of these students, including principals, counselors, and custodians. In addition to lunch, each staff member at Wooten received a gift card to Target. Working in the education field has its own set of challenges and obstacles, and it's important to remember that gestures like this have the power to make a real impact on someone's day. Austin Subaru has previously collaborated with Wooten Elementary School, and we were thankful for the opportunity to support them again with this lunch. Austin Subaru encourages everyone to exude kindness, positivity, and support for teachers and anyone working in education. They do so much for our community, and they deserve to be appreciated!

Austin Subaru has supported Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) for over 10 years now, and in 2023, we are thrilled to have them as our Subaru Loves Pets® pillar partner! May 7th was a day filled with excitement and anticipation, as we got to host our annual Paddle for Puppies event benefitting the Parvo ICU at Austin Pets Alive!. Parvovirus is a highly contagious viral illness that is passed between puppies and it causes acute gastrointestinal issues. The side effects are pretty unpleasant for these sweet little puppies with this disease, and without proper treatment, those with Parvo will likely pass away. Austin Subaru believes that if there is an issue within the community, it is our duty to take action. As a result, the team at Austin Subaru has held the Paddle for Puppies event each year for the past 12 years! This incredible event took place at the picturesque Rowing Dock on Lady Bird Lake, and participants had their pick between a canoe, kayak, or paddle board to float down a 5 mile adventure. Everyone was welcome to bring their dogs and Austin Subaru took proper measures to ensure each dog was safe and could enjoy this event with everyone. As participants glided through the tranquil waters, they couldn't help but feel a sense of unity and purpose. Each stroke they took was a reminder that they are doing their part in helping vulnerable puppies struggling with parvovirus. Austin Subaru has always held this event close to their hearts, and it was an honor to be able to do this for APA! in 2023. This year also marks the most successful year the Paddle for Puppies event has ever had, as we were able to raise over $28,000 for the Parvo ICU at APA!. 100% of this money will go towards saving puppies with parvovirus, and Austin Subaru is grateful to have been able to hold this incredible event. We cannot wait for Paddle for Puppies 2024!

As a longtime fan of Austin Pets Alive!, Austin Subaru is proud to have them as their Subaru Loves Pets® partner in 2023. Since 1997, this incredible organization has been working diligently to save the lives of animals at risk for euthanasia. They officially opened the doors to their shelter in 2008, and since that time, they have managed to save over 100,000 pets! Austin Subaru has been supporting Austin Pets Alive! for over 10 years, and we love seeing all of the progress they have made in our community. On May 3rd, the team at Austin Subaru got together for a volunteer day, updating and improving the facilities at the Austin Pets Alive! shelter on Cesar Chavez St. So many sweet, vulnerable animals are living at this shelter right now and Austin Subaru feels it is their duty to help Austin Pets Alive! maintain their space. In addition to volunteer day, Austin Subaru was thrilled to present APA! with all of the money raised for them during the 2022 Subaru Share The Love® Event. We are excited to say that 2022 was the most successful Share the Love year for APA!, as we were able to raise $125,000 for them! Austin Subaru is so grateful for the opportunity to be partners with this incredible organization.

In April 2023, Austin Subaru was proud to be part of the EASB Off to the Races event at Camp Mabry! Genny Hardeman, owner of Austin Subaru, is the President of Elizabeth Ann Seton Board (EASB) and her personal passion and dedication to this organization have managed to trickle down into the rest of the team. The EASB Off to the Races event is held in support of Seton Fund, an organization in the community dedicated to serving the most vulnerable and advocating compassion. They have also been an integral part in supporting the expansion of Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin (ASMCA). The EASB Off to the Races event touches the lives of many, as it aims to raise funds and awareness for mother/baby services and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at ASMCA. Each year, over 5,000 babies are born at this hospital and one out of every four of them will require critical care in the NICU. Needless to say, it is imperative that they have the tools they need to provide essential care to babies and support to mothers. The team at Austin Subaru is passionate about giving back to organizations that are really making a difference in our community, and they felt honored to attend the EASB Off to the Races event. This beautiful day was held at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas, and it was a great way for everyone to come together in support of the community's well being! As guests started arriving, the atmosphere crackled with excitement as they knew the money raised at this event would go towards providing crucial support to mothers and their newborns. Over $1.3 million was raised for this incredible organization, and as the Presenting Sponsor, Austin Subaru was thrilled to contribute $50,000 to this wonderful cause! Austin Subaru recognizes how lucky they are to be able to support this wonderful cause, and we look forward to supporting their amazing work in the future.

Austin Subaru loves supporting the community whenever the opportunity arises, and we are absolutely thrilled to be partnering with Foster Village in 2023! This amazing organization has emerged as a beacon of hope for children in the foster care system. With their mission to provide support to foster children and the caretakers who selflessly take them in, Foster Village has become an indispensable resource in the community. By offering practical assistance, emotional support, and educational resources, Foster Village aims to create a stable and nurturing environment for children in need. In April, the team at Austin Subaru was thrilled to spend a day volunteering at Foster Village. The first task at hand was to stock the shelves with essential items that would provide comfort and reassurance to these vulnerable children as they transition into foster care. Austin Subaru volunteers worked diligently, organizing the shelves with care and attention to detail. From clothing and toiletries to toys and books, each item was carefully selected to bring a sense of belonging and normalcy to children entering unfamiliar circumstances. Over $80,000 was raised for Foster Village during the Share the Love event, and Austin Subaru had the opportunity to present this check at the volunteer day. These funds given to Foster Village will be put towards them continuing their amazing work and purchasing necessary items for children like beds, car seats, clothing, school supplies, and more. Austin Subaru is inspired by the Foster Village team's commitment to providing unwavering support to children and caretakers alike. The work they do is impeccable and we feel lucky to have the opportunity to partner with them this year!

Environmental sustainability is so important, and Austin Subaru is passionate about making positive impacts in the community. When we learned about Waterloo Green Day, an event promoting eco-friendly practices and green living, we absolutely had to support. This event is held by Waterloo Greenway, an organization hard at work to preserve a 1.5-mile park system that will soon be home to a wild array of natural and cultural destinations. They are also a Pillar Partner of Austin Subaru for 2023, which means we are committed to supporting them throughout the year & especially during Subaru Loves the Earth® month. Waterloo Green Day is a fantastic way to raise awareness and support for this wonderful cause, and the team at Austin Subaru is so grateful for the opportunity to have been part of it! This event was held on April 23, and it was a parkwide celebration to educate and inspire the community about the importance of sustainability. Waterloo Green Day was a fun festival including live music, over 20 environmental exhibitors, pollinator and plants workshops, plant id scavenger hunts, and a special live performance by Squonk Opera! Austin Subaru loves everything that Waterloo Greenway does for our community, and we were thrilled to sponsor the Waterloo Green Day event with $5,000!

Austin Subaru is proud to support Keep Austin Beautiful. We are committed to assisting our local community whenever we can, and we understand that beautifying/maintaining nature is a huge part of that. Keep Austin Beautiful is hard at work to create a more beautiful and healthy community for us all, and they are on a mission to encourage Autunites to work together to beautify green spaces, clean waterways, and reduce waste. Keep Austin Beautiful is such an inspiring organization, and Austin Subaru was thrilled to volunteer for them on April 15th! On this beautiful Saturday morning, the team at Austin Subaru gathered at Beverly Sheffield Park in celebration of Keep Austin Beautiful Day. This included beautifying the park with lovely plants and cleaning up the many pieces of trash laying around. Austin Subaru loves everything that Keep Austin Beautiful stands for, and we were delighted to do a $1,000 sponsorship along with the volunteer day!

In April 2023, the team at Austin Subaru had one heck of a time getting their hands dirty to help Waterloo Greenway maintain their beautiful spaces! Waterloo Greenway is a park system that stretches 1.5 miles with the power to bring the Austin community together. Once it is completed, Waterloo Greenway will be home to several natural and cultural destinations, so it is imperative to help them keep their spaces healthy. In celebration of Subaru Loves the Earth®, Austin Subaru was thrilled to spend a day volunteering their time to beautify Waterloo Greenway's spaces. Our planet works hard to care for us and provide us with a beautiful place to call home, so we feel it is our duty to care for it whenever the opportunity arises. Rally the Ambassadog was there to support us as well - playing with sticks, running around, and stretching out in the sunlight is a very important task! Waterloo Greenway is also one of Austin Subaru's Pillar Partners for 2023, and we are grateful for the opportunity to support them for Subaru Loves the Earth month!

Austin Subaru has always been a proud supporter of the Austin community, and in 2023, we are thrilled to be partnering with Caritas of Austin! As part of this partnership, Austin Subaru hosted the Caritas Community Conversation, an event involving conversations of importance and interest in our community, including how to train on the job. Caritas of Austin is hard at work to end the homelessness epidemic in Austin, and they go above and beyond to support those in need. One of the many amazing things they do is help people transition out of homelessness and assist them in getting housing/employment/etc. This event was such a great way to support Caritas of Austin, and Austin Subaru felt honored to provide the venue and be part of the Caritas Community Conversation. As the event drew to a close, people were leaving with new connections, new knowledge, and a renewed sense of hope for the future of this community. The team at Austin Subaru is so grateful for this opportunity to support!

Austin Subaru is thrilled to be partnering with Communities in Schools all throughout 2023! This year, we were proud to be the Pet Zone Sponsor at the 92nd annual ABC Kite Fest, an Austin tradition that benefits Communities in Schools and Moss Pieratt Foundation. Communities in Schools provides all students, regardless of race, gender, ability, and background, with what they need to reach their full potential in school & life. Moss Pieratt Foundation works to fund research and promote awareness regarding the sudden unexplained death of infants. Kite Fest is an amazing way to support two organizations that work hard to bring awareness to real issues that are happening in our community. As the Pet Zone Sponsor, Austin Subaru had an activation that included a lounge, play area for dogs, pet caricature artist, balloon animal artist, and a coloring book wrapped Subaru Ascent for kids to color on with dry erase markers! Rally, Austin Subaru's Ambassadog, also attended the event and loved all of the attention he received from everyone. To get into the full Kite Fest spirit, we flew our Austin Subaru astronaut kite along with all of the other awesome kites. All in all, this was such a fun way to celebrate two wonderful organizations, and Austin Subaru is so thankful to have been given the opportunity to support. As the Pet Zone Sponsor, Austin Subaru supported ABC Kite Fest with $30,000!

It is so important to give back to the community and support all of the amazing organizations that work hard to support us. I Live Here I Give Here is an incredible organization that has been inspiring Central Texans to give back to their local community since 2007. Each year, they hold their Amplify Austin event, the largest day of giving in Central Texas, and Austin Subaru was proud to be part of it in March 2023! On this wonderful day, Austin Subaru pledged to match up to $2,500 for each of their pillar partners (Austin Pets Alive!, Waterloo Greenway, Foster Village, The Dog Alliance, Communities in Schools, and Caritas of Austin), amounting to a total of $15,000 at Amplify Austin! In total, $5 million was raised during Amplify Austin for so many amazing organizations in Central Texas. Austin Subaru is grateful to have been given this incredible opportunity, and we cannot wait to support I Live Here I Give Here at the next Amplify Austin event!

Austin Subaru is proud to support The Muny Conservancy, an organization with a mission to save Lions Municipal Golf Course here in Austin, Texas. Not only do they work to preserve the course, but they encourage families and children of all ages to practice the core values of Golf like honesty, integrity, and good sportsmanship. Each year, The Muny Conservancy hosts their annual Imagine Muny event, and Austin Subaru was proud to be part of it in February 2023! This event featured live music and getting together to support a great cause. This was a fantastic way to celebrate all of the hard work The Muny Conservancy is putting in to create a better community for all, and Austin Subaru was proud to support with a $25,000 sponsorship!

Thank you to everyone who joined Austin Subaru at the Ready, Set, Rally event on February 4th! The purpose of this event was to introduce Rally, Austin Subaru's new Ambassadog, to the Austin community. Along with this, Austin Subaru showcased their six pillar partners for 2023 - Austin Pets ALIVE!, Waterloo Greenway, Communities in Schools, The Dog Alliance, Foster Village, and Caritas of Austin. All of these organizations do incredible work for the community, and we are thankful for the opportunity to partner with them this year. In addition to our partners having activations at the Ready, Set, Rally event, Austin Subaru was proud to support them with $5,000 each! You don't have to own a Subaru to own Austin Subaru, and we greatly appreciate all of the vendors and attendees who spent part of their day celebrating Rally and our pillar partners. This beautiful day included live music, food trucks, and plenty of family friendly & pet friendly activities. We can confidently say that Rally enjoyed all of the attention he received at his party! Check out this video to see more of the Ready, Set, Rally event.

The homelessness epidemic is a real problem, especially in largely populated cities like Austin, Texas. In 2023, the team at Austin Subaru is proud to be partnering with Caritas of Austin, an incredible organization that is working tirelessly to prevent and end homelessness in the Austin community. More often than not, those who are homeless are forced to go without something most of us tend to take for granted in our lives - a freshly cooked meal. On February 22nd, the team at Austin Subaru spent the day at Caritas of Austin to serve fresh, delicious, well-balanced meals to those in need. There is such an amazing feeling that comes with helping people, and we believe everyone deserves to have access to nutritious meals. In addition to this, the team at Austin Subaru and Caritas of Austin hosted a donation drive for essential household items like cookware, cleaning supplies, and bedroom/bathroom necessities. All items that were donated were turned into welcome baskets for people who are transitioning out of homelessness into an apartment, and to help them turn their new space into a home. Austin Subaru is passionate about supporting the community, and we have been huge fans of Caritas of Austin for quite some time. We are so thankful that they are giving us the opportunity to partner with them this year!

At Austin Subaru, we have a passion for supporting the organizations in our community that work tirelessly to support us. One of those incredible organizations is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Austin Subaru was recently given the opportunity to support one of their warriors - a little girl named Reese. Austin Subaru was completely moved by her story, and feels as though it should be shared with everyone. Back in 2020, Reese began experiencing recurring fevers and feeling ill. Her parents, Katie and Ben, immediately got in contact with the pediatrician to see what was going on. At the time this was occurring, the COVID-19 pandemic was still new, so appointments by car visit were the only option. For a while in the beginning, doctors were not able to provide Katie and Ben with an exact answer as to what was happening to their daughter. After many more visits to the doctor, a large tumor was found in Reese's chest and her parents were forced to hear some of the toughest words for a parent to face - "Your child has cancer." Reese was very ill when she first began treatment, but thankfully, the team at Dell Children's got the process going right away. Despite the numerous doctors visits, operations, and treatments, Reese maintained incredible strength and positivity as she battled cancer. She soon became "Resilient Reese" due to her ability to fight something as brutal as this with a bubbly smile on her face. Finally, all of Reese's hard work paid off - in 2022, she celebrated her 4th birthday AND last round of chemotherapy! This was an incredible milestone for Reese and her family, and the team at Austin Subaru absolutely had to celebrate this amazing little girl. On Reese's 4th birthday, the team at Austin Subaru decorated their cars with birthday posters, streamers, and balloons and held a parade in her neighborhood. Reese absolutely loves parades, so it meant a lot to do this for her. Reese's mom also told us that she loves ice cream, so the team at Austin Subaru rented an ice cream truck to be at the park Reese was having her party at! All in all, this was a beautiful day to celebrate Reese's resilience through her experience with cancer. Austin Subaru is incredibly thankful to have been given this opportunity! We encourage you to watch this video to learn more about Reese's story - it truly is amazing!

Every child deserves to feel like a shining star, especially in moments where it feels as though all hope is lost. Beautifully Loved is an organization that strives to improve confidence and self-worth for families dealing with pediatric cancer and other chronic illnesses through experiences of wellness, beauty and fashion. This year, Beautifully Loved held their 8th annual fashion show to showcase some amazing & brave kids in the Austin community! This was a spectacular event that was aimed to make all of the kids feel like the superstars they are. All of the kids were provided with custom fashion to wear while they walked the runway, and they were given the opportunity to have their hair and makeup done! While Austin Subaru supports the Beautifully Loved organization as a whole, the 8th annual fashion show, in particular, was a meaningful event because we understand the tremendous impact it had on these children and their families. These kids are fighting battles that no child should have to face, and they endure a ton of pressure on a day to day basis. Despite this, every one of those children has maintained an immense amount of strength and that is truly inspiring to us at Austin Subaru. They deserve to feel like the amazing kids that they are, and the Beautifully Loved fashion show provided them with that moment to shine. Plus, when a child feels supported in their life and confident in their own skin, they are more likely to thrive in everything that they do and exude positivity back into their community. All of that being said, Austin Subaru was proud to support this beautiful event with a $5,000 sponsorship! We cannot wait to see the amazing things that these kids accomplish in the future!

Austin Subaru is proud to support the Central Texas Food Bank, an amazing organization that works with food donors, financial supporters, and volunteers to support people in Central Texas who don't have access to food. Another key way to support this organization is through events, which is precisely what the Mill Scale Cookout did in 2022! This wonderful event was hosted by Mill Scale Metal Works, and it featured delicious bites from exclusive chefs and live music for everyone to enjoy. A portion of the proceeds were given to the Central Texas Food Bank, which makes for a fun and collaborative way to support a great cause! Austin Subaru is a huge fan of the Central Texas Food Bank, so they were delighted to support the Mill Scale Cookout with a $5,000 sponsorship!

At Austin Subaru, we understand how crucial it is to care for the planet that works tirelessly to support us. For this reason, we were proud to sponsor the Glow in the Park event with a $20,000 donation! The purpose of this event was to maintain vibrancy and health in the Waterloo Greenway Conservancy, a 1.5-mile park system working to bring the Austin community together. In addition to this, the Glow in the Park event advocates for educational programming and community events that are held in the park. Overall, this organization does a lot of incredible work, and Austin Subaru absolutely had to support them! The Glow in the Park event was a wonderful evening for everyone to come together in support of such an incredible organization, and Austin Subaru is thankful to have had the opportunity to give back to the Earth!

Austin Subaru is a proud supporter of Communities in Schools of Central Texas! This wonderful organization has a mission to provide aid to children in Central Texas that have things standing in their way of learning, such as poverty, homelessness, hunger, and ongoing health needs. Each year, Communities in Schools holds its annual Food for Thought event, a fantastic gathering aimed at supporting children in Central Texas that need our help. Our children are the future, and it is imperative to support them in any way we can. All in all, the Food for Thought event was a great opportunity for everyone to come together to celebrate the success of Communities in Schools students and raise funds for dropout prevention initiatives. The team at Austin Subaru is passionate about supporting hardworking organizations like this, so we were thrilled to contribute with a $7,500 sponsorship! Thank you, Communities in Schools, for doing everything that you do for the children in Central Texas.

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society is leading the way in finding the cure for cancer, and Austin Subaru has been a huge fan of their work for quite some time! In November of 2022, Austin Subaru was thrilled to be part of the Light the Night Walk, an event that brings light to the darkness of cancer and aims to replace feelings of despair with hope. Each year, Light the Night showcases an Honored Hero, a cancer patient or survivor that has inspired LLS staff, volunteers, and participants. This year's Honored Hero was a 4-year-old girl named Reese, who has been a warrior through cancer and is celebrating her final chemotherapy treatment! Austin Subaru absolutely adores Reese and loves everything that LLS does, so we feel lucky to have been part of the Light the Night Walk. This event was such a beautiful way to bring the community together to support those currently fighting the disease, and remember those very special people we have lost. LLS is such a vital organization in our community, and as much as the team at Austin Subaru loved attending this event, we simply had to support them even further. As a result, Austin Subaru was delighted to do a $15,000 sponsorship that will go towards supporting cancer research!

October was a month full of happy adoptions, and thanks to Subaru Loves Pets, full of fun event activations, too! Austin Pets Alive! (APA!) worked with Austin Subaru to create some fun events that showcased all of the amazing animals in APA!’s care. While adoptions were, of course, encouraged throughout the month, our big focuses together were on events taking place on October 22nd, National Make A Dog’s Day! We had both a special event at our main facility and an adoption event at the dealer’s showroom! Subaru Loves Pets takes special care in giving the “underdog” some extra love and attention. Every pet in APA!’s care comes to us from euthanasia lists at other shelters so technically, every pet at our organization could be seen as an underdog; however, we do have a population of pets that might fit more traditionally in the underdog category - pups in wheelchairs! Whether dogs were born with a disability, were hit by a car or some other circumstance brought them to need a wheelchair, APA! believes these pets deserve the opportunity to find their adoptive homes. On National Make A Dog’s Day, together with Austin Subaru, we hosted an event that invited the community to come meet our wheelchair population. This event gave potential adopters the opportunity to ask questions about the logistics of bringing a dog with a wheelchair into their family and to witness demonstrations of getting a dog in and out of a wheelchair! Potential adopters walked away from the event recognizing that the realities of having a dog in a wheelchair aren’t as intimidating as they thought! A few of the dogs that attended the event were Susky, Mindy, Gavin, and Mobley! Along with the “wheelie” event at the shelter, we also set up a special adoption event at Austin Subaru! Since Austin traffic can be a deterrent for many, it was beneficial to set up adoptions “north of the river,” giving potential adopters who live in the north Austin area easier closer access to pups available for adoption! The event had a happy ending for two pups who were born in the APA! Marketing team’s office - Miss Nevada and Miss Florida! These siblings were two of ELEVEN puppies born to Miss America! Soon after the puppies were born, the whole family went to an amazing foster home where the puppies had the chance to receive the nourishment and relationship of mother and siblings. Once old enough, the puppies began going to their adoptive homes - Miss Florida and Miss Nevada being the last of the group. These lucky pups not only found their loving homes at this adoption event, but were adopted together and will therefore have the joy of their sibling for the remainder of their lives! It is always such a joy to work with our community partners and Austin Subaru has always been an amazing champion of our mission! Subaru Loves Pets month was an absolute success!

Austin Subaru is a longtime supporter of Austin Pets Alive, a rescue organization that creates a safe place for animals at high risk of being euthanized. They also encourage people to adopt or foster these pets, and Austin Subaru is a huge fan of their work! In October 2022, APA! held their 11th annual No Kill Anniversary to celebrate being the longest-running no kill community in the nation. This incredible event included live music, adorable pets, and was such a great way for everyone to come together to raise funds for APA! so they can continue bettering the lives of pets who need it. Austin Subaru loves supporting this organization, and they were thrilled to contribute with a $5,000 donation!

Austin Subaru loves Caritas of Austin, and they were excited to support their annual Songs of Hope event in September 2022! The purpose of this is to raise funds for Caritas to continue their work to prevent and end homelessness in Austin. Bryan and Rebecca Hardeman, owners of Austin Subaru, are longtime supporters of this organization, and their personal dedication has now turned into a passion shared by the Austin Subaru team as a whole. The Songs of Hope event was an amazing evening under the stars that included a live performance from Bob Schneider, silent auction, and opportunity to Fund the Mission. As a way to show their support, Bryan and Rebecca Hardeman matched $100,000 of Fund the Mission gifts, which go 100% towards Caritas of Austin! This organization holds a special place in Austin Subaru's heart, and it felt so great to support them at this incredible event.

What a joy it was for Austin Subaru to be included in the Austin Pride Parade! This was such a fantastic day to support The Austin Pride Foundation, a completely volunteer-run organization with a mission to educate, resource, and connect the LGBTQ community in Austin. Every single person deserves to be accepted, no matter who they are, and they have helped many people through their amazing work. The Austin Pride Parade was such a fun way to celebrate this incredible foundation, and Austin Subaru felt honored to support it with a $10,000 sponsorship. Even better - the team at Austin Subaru walked the parade with an Ascent (completely decked out for Pride!) and had such a fun time handing out "Y'all Means All" bracelets to everyone the crowd. Overall, this was a super fun way to come together in support of a great cause!

In September of 2022, Austin Subaru was proud to sponsor the Shoal Creek Social event! This is geared to aid the Shoal Creek Conservancy (SCC), a fantastic organization with a mission to maintain the Shoal Creek watershed. Along with this, they support the 11 mile trail along the Shoal Creek corridor, which is the oldest trail in Austin and must be preserved at all costs. Finally, SCC also provides year-round public programming on conservation and clean-up. There is a bounty of great things to say about this wonderful organization and Austin Subaru feels honored to support them. On September 3rd and 10th, the team at Austin Subaru hit the trail to help SCC make this day special. This was SCC's largest fundraising event of the year, and it had plenty of free, family-friendly activities, refreshments, giveaways and tours. Additionally, Austin Subaru was happy to contribute a $5,000 donation to help SCC continue doing their great deeds in the community!

Our veterans have sacrificed so much for the people in this country, and it is imperative to give back to them whenever the opportunity arises. The Purple Heart Integration Project (PHIP) is a non-profit organization that provides sustainable housing, training, and community integration to our nations wounded warriors, and they recently held their Hell on Reels event in Georgetown, Texas. This was a silent auction featuring a viewing of reels from the Vietnam war, and funds were raised for the PHIP to continue helping veterans recover, learn, and prosper. All in all, this was a fantastic day for everyone to come together to celebrate some amazing people who have done so much for us. Austin Subaru has a passion for supporting wonderful causes like this, and they were delighted to provide a $10,000 sponsorship!

Austin Subaru loves giving back to the helpful and compassionate people in our community that do so many great things. Jordan is one of these very special individuals. As a foster mom who provides a safe house for anybody in need, Jordan works tirelessly every single day to be a support system and give people everyday necessities that, without her generosity, would be very difficult for them to access. She is a kindhearted person that feels as though everyone deserves a place to call "home". Jordan does an outstanding job of taking care of everyone, but there is one thing she desperately needed - her very own car. Knowing how passionate Austin Subaru is about the Love Promise initiative, Riptide and Foster Village reached out to Austin Subaru and asked if there was anything we could do to help Jordan out. The answer was an immediate yes. After figuring out a few logistics, Austin Subaru was happy to gift an amazing 2019 Subaru Ascent to Jordan! In preparation for Jordan's arrival at the dealership, the Austin Subaru team gathered in the showroom to give her a warm welcome and to thank her for everything she does for our community. Pure joy, gratitude, and excitement radiated from Jordan and her family, and it really was such a heartwarming experience to be a part of. Now, with her sweet new ride, Jordan can do all of the things she's been wanting to do for quite some time, such as giving her family a reliable source of transportation. From everyone at Austin Subaru, thank you so much Jordan for doing what you do. We really hope you are loving your Ascent!

Austin Subaru loves supporting the people in our community who need it most. In June of 2022, the crew at Austin Subaru had the incredible opportunity to partner with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society at St. David's Healthcare! This involved visiting leukemia patients currently being cared for at St. David's and hand delivering some super soft blankets to help them stay comfortable. Everyone was instructed to wear a mask, stay sanitized, and maintain social distance so that the patients were able to have happy visits while being safe. Staying in a hospital receiving treatment can feel as though you are isolated from the outside world, and it's not uncommon to feel lonely. The Austin Subaru team felt as though it was important to pay a special visit to these people to remind them of how loved and supported they are! While Austin Subaru is a long-time supporter of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, this day was particularly special. Seeing the smiles on everyone's faces was so heartwarming, and they were all the sweetest people in the world! Austin Subaru is thankful to have been given this opportunity, and we cannot wait to continue supporting LLS in the future.

Recently, Austin Subaru did a $3,500 sponsorship for RBI Austin Youth's 18U Regional Team! RBI Austin is an incredible non-profit organization whose main goal is to engage and develop inner-city Austin youth athletically, academically, and spiritually, empowering them to lead the transformation of their communities. They also work diligently to ensure that kids have a stable mentor in their lives, sports are accessible and affordable to all, people are connected through teams and collaborative work, and the gap is closed between the lower and middle class. Since doing this amazing work, RBI Austin has received many stories from parents and coaches about the impact that being part of a team, growing confidence in a skill, and finding a mentor has had on these kids! Overall, there are 1,400 kids enrolled in the summer programs at RBI Austin, and Austin Subaru was obliged to support them with this donation! Recently, the 18U Regional Team had the opportunity to travel to Dallas for the RBI Southwest Regional tournament, and Austin Subaru was thrilled to have been able to help make this happen! This was an amazing opportunity for these kids, and it'll be really cool to see what they accomplish in the future. Thank you RBI Austin for giving the team at Austin Subaru the opportunity to support!

In June of 2022, the team at Austin Subaru was proud to support Austin Pets Alive! with a volunteer day as part of the Share the Love event! This involved repainting the adoption center, beautifying the Parvo units, and building an enclosure that will serve as a shaded area for APA! employees to see incoming animals. The purpose of this is to provide a nice place for the pets to live as well as a cleaner-looking place for guests to come and view what APA! has to offer. There are a lot of things APA! needs help with, but they don't have nearly enough volunteers for everything that needs to be done. As a very loyal and longtime supporter of this incredible organization, Austin Subaru was quick to offer a helping hand! All in all, this was a fantastic experience for the Austin Subaru crew and everyone had a really fun time while supporting a good cause. In addition to this volunteer day, Austin Subaru was proud to provide an $80,000 donation to Austin Pets Alive! We are so thankful for everything they do for the pets in our community.

May 15th, 2022 was a very special day for the team at Austin Subaru because for the first time since 2018, the Paddle for Puppies event was back in person & on the water! Presented by Austin Subaru, this extraordinary event took place at Rowing Dock on Lady Bird Lake, and it is intended to raise awareness and funds for the Parvo Puppy Program at Austin Pets Alive! Parvo, or "Canine parvovirus", is a highly contagious virus that affects a dog's gastrointestinal tracts. It is extremely painful for a puppy to go through and can be lethal. Austin Pets Alive is doing what they can to help these pups recover from the disease, but they need our help. For this reason, all proceeds from the Paddle for Puppies event went to the Parvo Program at APA! On this beautiful morning, participants got to choose between a canoe, kayak, or paddleboard to take on the lake and have an amazing time while supporting a great cause. Additionally, the blue algae was not at a dangerous level, so people were more than welcome to bring their furry friends on the lake with them! Paddle for Puppies is Austin Subaru's favorite annual event to host, so it was really good to be back this year. As a result of this glorious day, Austin Subaru was able to raise over $25,000 for Austin Pets Alive!

Thank you Chris Hudson and the rest of the team at Austin Subaru for doing a $1,000 sponsorship for the MegaKyntes robotics team at Hill Country Christian School of Austin! This donation from Austin Subaru helped to cover our expenses to attend the Regionals FTC Tournament in San Antonio. While we were at the tournament, we earned a spot in the finals and finished in 2nd place. We were also a finalist for a Think Award, an award that is given to the team that best reflects the journey that the team took as they experienced the engineering design process during the build season. Next, we will be preparing for the TAAPS tournament on April 2nd in Waco! We will also be recruiting and training next year's team. We so are excited to see what the future holds for the MegaKyntes! Thank you again, Austin Subaru, for helping us have this amazing opportunity. We would not have been able to have this experience without your love and support! Sincerely, The MegaKyntes 11093

The Team at Austin Subaru believes that every child should have access to the resources needed to reach their full potential. For this reason, Austin Subaru is a proud supporter of WAYA (West Austin Youth Association), a non-profit organization that is working diligently to provide recreational and educational opportunities to the youth in Austin, Texas. To do this, WAYA offers a wide selection of fun activities in a safe community environment, making it that much easier for children to thrive. This year, WAYA held their annual Family Day fundraiser, where all proceeds go towards helping this organization continue their essential programs like WAYA Preschool, youth sport leagues, and camps. Any funds raised also cover free sports clinics, staff development, scholarships, high quality equipment, coach training and so much more. Austin Subaru is passionate about getting involved in the community, especially when helping kiddos is involved! Because of this, the team at Austin Subaru was excited to contribute $10,000 to the 2022 Family Day Event for WAYA. In addition to this great news, over $560,000 was raised from Family Day, which surpassed WAYA's goal of $500,000!

There truly is nothing better than supporting a great cause alongside your best buds and teammates. To celebrate the Earth Day season, the team at Austin Subaru was excited to dedicate a morning to beautifying the Wooten Neighborhood Park in support of Keep Austin Beautiful! For nearly 40 years, this incredible organization has had a mission to bring all Austinites together to get involved in volunteer work that will benefit our community. This includes adorning green spaces, clearing out waterways, and reducing waste, all of which are crucial in preserving Austin’s natural beauty and quality of life. It’s safe to say that the morning of April 9th was full of clear blue skies and positive vibes! The crew at Austin Subaru had such a phenomenal time refreshing the garden beds, planting flowers, revitalizing a local basketball court, and cleaning up trash at Wooten Neighborhood Park. The end result was absolutely stunning and, all in all, taking care of this green space was the perfect way to spend a beautiful Saturday morning. Additionally, it felt great to nourish a community that works hard to support us each day; loving and caring for our planet is so very important! Austin Subaru is a huge fan of everything that Keep Austin Beautiful stands for, so they absolutely had to show their support even further. As a result, this day of beautifying the park also included a $10,000 sponsorship for Keep Austin Beautiful. Austin Subaru encourages you to get a group together and find a place in your community that could use some loving!

Austin Subaru was overjoyed to support the Shenanigans Scramble with a $3,000 sponsorship! This super fun golf event was held for The Locker, a non-profit organization that aims to educate and empower the youth in the community. They provide a way for students to learn to serve their community and, in doing so, they help their fellow students in need. The environment created by The Locker gives at-risk students the opportunity to become involved in the leadership of the organization; many students who received aid from The Locker end up being volunteers for The Locker, which is an extremely powerful model for the organization. The Shenanigans Scramble was a super fun and collaborative way to support this great cause! Austin Subaru knows how important it is to support the children within our community. There was absolutely no question in whether or not they were going to contribute to this event and celebrate all of the amazing work done by The Locker!

Thank you Austin Subaru for sponsoring the 93rd Annual ABC Kite Fest with $35,000! This donation went towards supporting Communities in Schools, an incredible organization that does so much for our community. Communities in Schools has a mission to bring community resources to public schools where they are accessible, coordinated and accountable. They believe that it is crucial for young people to have adults in their lives that care about them, as it creates a sense of belonging to a caring community. Everything this organization stands for goes along with the Subaru Loves Learning, so Austin Subaru was more than happy to support them! In addition to this, Austin Subaru's donation sponsored the Pet Zone, which had their own booth at the ABC Kite Festival where they created pet caricatures for people's beloved pets! Austin Subaru also flew their ginormous astronaut kite, which was awesome! All in all, this was a beautiful and fun way for people to get together in support of ABC Kite Festival and all of the awesome organizations featured there!

Austin Subaru was excited to contribute $5,000 to the Now at Bat Gala for RBI Austin, which included sponsoring 15 kids in Player Development Academy in 2022! This annual benefit aims to raise funds and awareness for RBI Austin, a mentoring program that leverages baseball and softball to address the fatherless crisis in East Austin. Their mission is to make sports more accessible and affordable, provide support for players on and off the field, connect kids to mentor relationships, and close the gap between the upper and lower class. They want to engage and develop inner-city Austin youth athletically, academically, and spiritually, empowering them to lead the transformation of their communities. The Now at Bat Gala was a wonderful way to get people together to support an amazing cause, and Gus Hoelscher from Austin Subaru (shown in photo) was happy to attend! "The biggest takeaway I had was the number of kids this program is supporting, and the support from the community to make it happen. That night over $700k was raised for over a thousand children that would never have been given the opportunity to play our great national pastime. The work this organization is doing to help children through teamwork, sportsmanship, and respect is outstanding and we are glad to be a part of it". - Gus Hoelscher, Service Director at Austin Subaru

Austin Subaru was thankful to be given the opportunity to support the 2022 Dell Children's Ball with a $10,000 donation! The word of this event was VIVIR, meaning "to live", and this was an incredible way to get people together on behalf of children and families to celebrate, to live. The goal of this was to raise funds and awareness to help fuel the continued growth of Dell Children's Foundation and get closer to keeping every child here, close to home for care, no matter their diagnosis. Austin Subaru was really feeling the holiday cheer in November, December, and January during the Subaru Share the Love event! What's so amazing about this? For every new Subaru purchased or leased during the Share the Love event, Subaru donates $250 to the client's choice of four national charities including Meals on Wheels, Make a Wish, ASPCA, and National Park Foundation. In addition to these partners, Austin Subaru selected several hometown charities for their customers to choose from and support! This is such a great way to give back to so many wonderful organizations that do extraordinary, life changing things within our community, and this event makes getting a new Subaru even more joyful and meaningful! In addition to the money raised from new Subaru purchases and leases, Austin Subaru was proud to sponsor the Share the Love event with $5,000!

Austin Subaru was thrilled to support the Imagine Muny event with a $25,000 sponsorship! This event was held to benefit the Save Muny Conservancy, Austin's most beloved and affordable golf course that is working hard to preserve the beautiful green spaces we have here. Some more cool things about this organization are that they currently host 60,000 rounds of golf annually, hold more charity tournaments than any other golf course in Austin, are home to hundreds of protected heritage trees, and serve as a practice facility for more than 12 middle and high school golf teams. The Imagine Muny event was held at ACL Live, which made for a beautiful evening of music and fellowship to raise funds to help make the future of Muny a reality. Right now, suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the United States. It was responsible for more than 47,500 deaths in 2019, which is about one death every 11 minutes. Let's be honest - having the ability to go to the grocery store is something you likely take for granted. Shopping for food is, for a lot of us, a normal and effortless part of life, so of course we don't tend to give it much thought. Unfortunately, 1 in 7 Central Texans do not have the privilege of making grocery shopping part of their normal routine. Austin Restaurant Weeks is a fundraiser for the Central Texas Food Bank, and they have a mission to defeat the hunger crisis affecting thousands of people in Central Texas! This two-week-long dining attraction features specially-priced meals and drinks at dozens of bars and restaurants throughout the Austin area. This past October, the Food Bank teamed up with their media partners and the community to raise awareness for Austin Restaurant Weeks. Austin Subaru was proud to support Victor Emanuel Conservation Award with a $10,000 sponsorship! This annual celebration is held to raise funds for Travis Audubon, a non-profit organization that promotes the enjoyment, understanding, and conservation of native birds and their natural habitats. They achieve this through land conservation, environmental education, habitat restoration and management, and conservation advocacy. Each year, Travis Audubon honors a person who has made a massive contribution to promoting each and every value the organization stands by. The individual chosen is given the Victor Emanuel Conservation Award and named Conservation Hero! The winner of this year's award was Greg Lasley, a gentleman that dedicated his entire life to conserving wildlife. Unfortunately, Lasley is no longer with us, but he was able to accept his award before his passing in January. This past October, Lasley & all of his work was honored at the virtual Victor Emanuel Conservation Award Celebration! This was a great day to celebrate such a caring and generous man!

If you met Titan, you’d remember Titan. This big and gorgeous boy is goofy, resilient and full of love. Titan came into Austin Pets Alive!’s (APA!) care in the summer of 2021 in need of extensive medical care after suffering abuse. He had every reason to be closed off to people, but instead, put his trust in his new temporary home at our shelter. After a few weeks in our care, it was determined that Titan would need to undergo an amputation of one of his front legs due to irreparable nerve damage. This strong boy quickly began his recovery process and made a name for himself among staff and volunteers for being a kind, gentle, silly and snuggly soul. Near the end of October, Titan found a home to call his own. A home with two doggy friends and a place where he feels safe and knows he is loved and cared for. While his family still calls him Titan, they also gave him another name - Titus. A dog like this buddy deserves two strong names! We had the opportunity to catch up with Titan’s new family to hear how he’s been adjusting. It seems that he quickly got comfortable and “doesn’t really know that he only has three legs” which is made evident by his “shoulder checks” to his large Great Pyrenees playmate during their “ruff” and tumble games. In fact, these boys have so much fun and Titan/Titus doesn’t seem to have an off button so quiet time was instated in the home. After meals and some play, the pups go into their kennels for 30 minutes of quiet time. This extra sense of structure has really helped to ground our loving tripod and given him even more sense of security. Not only did he become fast friends with his dog siblings, Titan has created a super fun game for the whole family! He likes to take his humans’ shoes outside - never chewing on them, rather simply creating a silly game of hide and seek! His humans love how funny and affectionate he is! Dogs like Titan depend on APA!’s “safety net” programs to ensure they receive the care and life they deserve. And APA! depends on the generosity of our community to support our programs so that we can give pets hope! Community partners like Austin Subaru are paramount to the impact we can have and help make surgeries like the one Titan needed, possible. The generous sponsorships that we receive from Austin Subaru allow our programming the opportunity to give underdogs hope. Dogs (and cats) that have no other place to turn, who just need a little extra TLC, come into our shelter to receive the care they need in order to be adopted into loving homes. Titan's story is just one example of the hundreds of pets that are touched by Austin Subaru's generosity. Sometimes, people feel sad for animals that have lost a limb, but these surgeries not only alleviate pain and help heal the past. For Titan, coming into APA!’s care and receiving an amputation then finding his loving home, he’s finally able to start feeling whole again.

Austin Subaru is a proud supporter of Austin Birth Awards! This event was held to raise funds for Partners in Parenting, an incredible non-profit organization that works hard to provide resources for new parents in Austin. Becoming a parent for the first time is an exciting and beautiful thing, but it can be overwhelming for a lot of people. Having a stable source of support is very important and, unfortunately, not everyone has access to this. Partners in Parenting is working to build a foundation for healthy families by supporting parents in the early phases of parenthood. By making it easy for every new parent to receive this support, our entire community will thrive. Austin Birth Awards is a great way for everyone to come together to support Partners in Parenting, and helps to raise the funds needed for them to continue doing a great service to society. Austin Subaru supports St. Chubbys Golf Classic! For over 30 years, a gentleman named B.L. dedicated his Christmas seasons to spreading joy to the public. Everyone knew him as "Chubby", and he would dress up in his custom Santa suit to visit schools, churches, nursing homes, children's homes, and several other places to ensure everyone had an amazing Christmas. Sadly, Chubby passed away in 2001, but his family and friends have made it their mission to continue his legacy through St. Chubby Golf Classic! Each year, they spend thousands of dollars in Austin and surrounding areas by providing toys, clothes, food, and household items for families in need for Christmas. St. Chubby's Golf Tournament is a great way for everyone to get together to support this amazing cause! This included a fun day of golf, games, food, and prizes. This event was held on 9/18/21, and all of the proceeds will be given to children in need during the 2021 Christmas Season! Sometimes we as people forget that asking for help is completely okay. Whether its out of pride or for another reason, it is important to remember that everyone needs support from time to time. The Jeremiah Program has a mission to break the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children, and ensure everyone is given an opportunity to get help. They believe no mother should have to make the painful decision between investing in herself and her children. Supporting mothers in earning their college degree, providing quality education for children ages 0-5, and providing access to safe and affordable housing are just three of many things this incredible organization does for mothers and children in need. Austin Subaru was completely moved by all of the things the Jeremiah Program does for our community, so they were eager to show their appreciation. As a result, they did a $3,500 sponsorship to support this amazing cause!

Rose has overcome a lot in her young life, including abuse and neglect and years in and out of the foster care system. With the odds stacked against her, Rose found a way forward to independence. She graduated from high school at 16-years-old and has since gone on to accomplish so much with the financial support, mentoring, and health care services of organizations such as Step Onward Foundation. Rose is currently employed full-time and is a sophomore at a local community college. Even with her busy schedule, she continues to volunteer and help others who share similar stories as her own. "I felt like the stars aligned when Todd called," said Chris Hudson, General Manager at Austin Subaru. "When someone tells you a truly miraculous story about a truly miraculous person, and you are able to help, I believe you are obligated to. This is what our company and our team are all about. More than just selling and servicing cars, we have a responsibility to our community and we take that seriously. When we learned that Rose's dream car was a green Subaru Outback, we couldn't wait to make that dream a reality. It's simple, if you have been blessed, you should be a blessing to others. "Our mission is to create a world where young adults and families who are at risk of homelessness reach their full potential as healthy, happy and independent adults," said Todd Young, co-founder and chairman of Step Onward Foundation. "We do this by filling gaps in needed support through our services and programs. Many young adult survivors of homelessness do not have access to reliable transportation which is a significant barrier to overcoming homelessness. This car is an incredible gift to give to a strong and resilient young woman on her journey to independence."

In February, Austin experienced a winter storm that brought the entire state to a screeching halt. Road conditions were too dangerous for most businesses to resume operations, water and power was out for millions across the state for up to several weeks. With over 2,500 homeless in Austin, it is the mission of Caritas of Austin to remove people from the streets and extreme conditions such as the one we experienced in February. Caritas of Austin works to house, assist in job placement, education and much more for those experiencing homelessness. Together with Austin Subie Performance, Austin Subaru hosted a household goods drive to collect household and canned goods to support Caritas of Austin. In just 3 hours, Austin Subaru and Austin Subie Performance were able to collect 368 pounds of canned goods and 76 pounds of household items! It was enough to fill an entire Ascent!

By 2021 everyone thought that the Coronavirus would be a thought of the past. Unfortunately, the reality of it was we were still fighting hard. Hospitals have been over run and understaffed. First Responders working around the clock. Essential workers are all exhausted from the year long battle. Austin Subaru wanted to brighten the day for some of our local heros. They worked in conjunction with St Davids North Austin to find the nurses that have been working directly with COVID patients day in and day out. 90 lunches were provided for the staff that has shown love and dedication to our community and have risen to all of the challenges Austin has faced over the last year.

I have been debating about getting a new car for the last year but kept having one issue after another during the pandemic. I finally decided the time was right and set up an appointment to get my new Crosstrek when I was walking my little pup and he was attacked by a neighbor dog requiring surgery. I called to cancel but Dean offered to do all the paperwork online then drive down with my new Crosstrek. While that was thoughtful and above and beyond, it was the card and dog toy that he brought for my dog Peanut that really touched me. He took the card around the store and everyone wrote sweet messages of encouragement to Peanut. They even offered to make him a pupaccino if he came and visited! The personal messages meant the world to us! It has been a tough year for everyone so it meant a lot to feel supported during such a big purchase.

I purchased my first Subaru in 2017, an Outback 3.5R. Immediately I feel in “Love” with this car. You see, I’m visually impaired and this little beauty has everything I needed to keep me driving safely. This past year has been very hard on all of us, but especially the medical community. I am a critical care nurse and I have had very little time, if any, this past year. My career had a slight turn and I agreed to do a gig in Michigan to administer the Covid vaccine but I needed to be there pretty quickly. This meant getting my little black beauty a quick little check up as she does have 94,000 miles (I love driving her!) After the oil change, my service tech notified me that they found a little transmission fluid and it needed to be diagnosed. I immediately scheduled her for the first available appointment which was one week away. I brought her back and was put into my rental-a Subaru Ascent. The Ascent had everything I needed and also the power I loved with my Outback, but I wanted to keep my little beauty forever! I was informed by Sunday that my baby was going to need a new transmission and some work done on the steering column. I now had to make some decisions. I NEVER planned on getting rid of my little black beauty as she was supposed to go to my grandson, and I absolutely “Love” that car! Besides, Subaru doesn’t make an Outback with a 6 cylinder anymore, so even more reason to keep her. However, I needed to be on the road by Thursday to start my new job on Monday. I had purchased the extended warranty, so everything was covered but it would never be done in three days. I made the decision to trade her in that night. I called to speak to a sales associate. Not only did Aryon stay late to start the process, he came in on his day off to make the sale possible the next day. Long story short, I was put in my new Subaru Ascent Limited by Tuesday afternoon and was well on my way by Wednesday night, earlier than planned. Austin Subaru went above and beyond my expectations and although I literally cried the day I had to leave the “Love” of my life behind, I was overjoyed with my new Ascent! She was just what I needed-safety, speed, style, and seven seats! Just the right amount of space for the grandchildren! Although she will never replace my little black beauty, she is a beautiful new addition to the family😘 Thank you to the entire team at Austin Subaru!!! Forever a Loyal Subaru Owner, Roni H. RN

In the midst of a pandemic the need to support our community is greater than ever. As part of the Share the Love event, Austin Subaru hosted the Meals on Wheels Christmas for Seniors Care Package Drive. A tree was set up in the Austin Subaru Showroom and was decorated with images of some of the local seniors. With these pictures were QR codes that could be scanned by Austin Subaru guests and employees that took them directly to the Meals on Wheels Amazon wish list. They could purchase items such as blankets, puzzles, and more to give a local senior a great Christmas.

“When she first came to us, she seemed so fragile and delicate, like a wounded bird. As she started to recover, she developed this very graceful gait and play style, so she went from an injured bird to a ladybird and the name Birdie just stuck.” Hilana, now renamed Birdie, is a sweet black and white border collie mix who came to Austin Pets Alive! at the beginning of October 2020. When Hilana arrived at APA! she was immediately diagnosed with parvovirus and admitted to our Parvo Puppy ICU where she spent a week being treated. Parvovirus is a highly contagious virus that rapidly infects the dividing cells in a dog’s body, most severely in the intestinal tract. Soon after winning her battle against parvo, Hilana continued treatments for other diseases, such as distemper, in foster care. By mid October, Hilana was well enough to be made available for adoption and quickly found someone who wanted to make her a part of their family. Hilana’s sweet brown eyes in her adoption profile photo made for love at first sight for her adopter, Emily. When she first stepped into her forever home she was, in Emily’s words, “so fragile and delicate, like a wounded bird.” Hilana had difficulty walking and suffered from seizures, but in her pain she still cuddled and loved on her new family. As Hilana began recovery, Emily and her family watched her blossom into a healthy, energized, jubilant puppy. Only 6 weeks after her initial admittance to the shelter, Hilana appears to have fully recovered! She loves to play with her 90 pound dog brother, Beaumont, until they both pass out, and she is quickly learning new tricks like sit, stay, and fetch! We are so happy APA! was able to provide Hilana with the care she needed to overcome her diseases and find her a loving home! In the past, any puppy that entered a shelter in the Central Texas area sick with parvovirus, or even suspected to be, was typically immediately euthanized. Since 2008, APA! has offered an alternative to euthanasia for these vulnerable pups, like Hilana, giving them a second chance at a happy, healthy life. In the past 12 years APA!’s Parvo unit has treated and saved around 5,000 dogs, and in recent years treats about 500 dogs from all over Texas each year. Austin Subaru has been an integral part in our lifesaving work via monetary sponsorship to hosting adoption events and helping to spread the message to give the "underdog" a much-deserved second look. This year has been such an unknown, but Austin Subaru's support has been unwavering. The work APA! does at our Parvo unit would not be possible without gracious business sponsors such as Austin Subaru! They have been a long time supporter of APA!’s mission and the support provided allows our innovative programs the opportunity to save lives like sweet Hilana’s.

Austin Subaru Presents Words of Hope—Words of Hope is Caritas of Austin's largest annual fundraiser. Caritas of Austin was founded on the belief that all people deserve to have their basic needs met. Today Caritas works to provide stable housing, food services, education, job placement, and veteran assistance to the Austin Community. This year the Coronavirus presented several new challenges for Caritas and their clientele. With job loss and health concerns on the rise, the Words of Hope fundraiser was needed now more than ever. Though they could not hold their usual in-person gala, Caritas pivoted and held a successful virtual event that raised over $400,000! Subaru was proud to be the presenting sponsor of this amazing event that is key in preventing and ending homelessness in our community.

Austin Pets Alive! created the Parvo Puppy ICU in 2008, and since then has been giving an alternative solution to euthanizing puppies who contract parvovirus. Despite the world being on hold from the Coronavirus, the Austin Pets Alive! Parvo Clinic continues to operate, saving around 500 puppy lives each year. Paddle for Puppies is an annual event that provides financial relief for the Parvo Puppy Program. This year, Austin Subaru, Austin Pets Alive!, and Rowing Dock came together to find a way to continue to support this program while faced with restrictions due to not only Coronavirus, but also Blue Algae in the lake that is toxic to dogs. Paddle for Puppies: Quarantine Edition was a digital campaign aimed at selling limited edition Paddle for Puppies shirts to raise funds for Austin Pets Alive!. Despite the challenges, Austin Subaru was able to raise $20,000 so that Austin Pets Alive! can continue to give puppies affected by parvovirus a chance at life.

Austin Parks Foundation's biggest city-wide volunteer event, It’s My Park Day, hosts thousands of volunteers work to improve parks and greenbelts throughout the city. With Subaru's strong alignment to preserve and protect our environment, Austin Subaru was a sponsor of the event again in 2020. In Spring 2020, we had the biggest It's My Park day yet. Over 4,000 volunteers working in 110 parks across Austin. These park lovers have invested significant labor hours into our parks saving our under-funded Parks & Recreation Dept. time and money!

Back in 2015, the Austin City Limits Radio staff decided to brainstorm the best ways that they could help Austin animal shelters. Because so many of the ACL Radio team had adopted furry best friends at a local shelter, they really wanted to find a way that we could give back to these incredible organizations. ACL Radio decided to do what they do best: throw a concert! But in lieu of purchasing tickets, concert go-ers would need to make a donation to one of the three top Austin animal shelters. It's called Woofstock and it's an epic weekend at Oskar Blues Brewery Austin with live music, great food, and perfectly brewed craft beer. In conjunction with Subaru's national partnership with Feeding America, we hosted a canned food drive in our showroom & service lounge! Customers and employees were encouraged to drop off canned good items throughout May and June to help support our local Austin food banks. Times are difficult for so many people during this worldwide pandemic and the food pantries are experiencing long waits and record-breaking lines across the nation. While Subaru of America feeds our nation, we pledged to do our part to feed Austin. We partnered with our friends at Caritas of Austin to support their in-house Food Pantry & Community Kitchen, located right here in downtown Austin. The Food Pantry at Caritas of Austin strives to ensure that their clients have access to healthy groceries as they transition out of homelessness toward stability. And the Community Kitchen provides a hot meal every Monday-Friday to approximately 250 individuals in need. We proudly donated over an entire Outback, loaded down with donated canned goods, to Caritas of Austin that will go towards keeping the people in our city fed and healthy during these uncertain times. This was one of our most successful food drives yet and we look forward to the next opportunity to help feed our community.

Brent, having lost someone close to him to blood cancer feels strongly about this campaign to spread love, hope and warmth to patients fighting cancer. The hospital staff and patients were all incredibly grateful and excited to receive the blankets for the second year in a row. The delivery team was able to interact and deliver directly to two blood cancer patients who were there receiving treatment. Jennie Crow (pictured on the far left) received a blanket last year while her son was in the hospital post-transplant for leukemia. Her son is doing great now, but the gesture meant so much to them that she came back this year to help pass them out to current patients. One nurse also talked about how comforting these have been for their patients—some who show up for an hour-long appointment, but are unexpectedly admitted for the night or weekend, with nothing with them. Receiving a soft, warm blanket and message of hope makes the situation more bearable.
