Driving Pride Through the Heart of Austin

At Austin Subaru, we believe love belongs to everyone. On August 22, our team was proud to celebrate that belief alongside our community at the Austin Pride Parade, supporting an event that brings thousands of people together in a joyful show of acceptance, belonging, and pride.

Austin Subaru supported the celebration with a $3,500 sponsorship benefiting the Austin Pride Foundation, the nonprofit organization behind Austin Pride and its work to educate, connect, and provide resources for Austin’s LGBTQIA+ community. But our involvement didn’t stop with a sponsorship. We wanted to show up in a way that was unmistakably Austin Subaru, so we transformed a Subaru Outback with a custom Pride wrap created especially for the occasion and joined the parade festivities to celebrate alongside our community.

As the brightly wrapped Outback made its way through the parade, the Austin Subaru team helped spread even more love by handing out custom Austin Subaru Pride stickers to attendees along the route. Seeing the excitement from the crowd and having the opportunity to connect face-to-face with members of our community made the celebration especially meaningful for our team.

Austin Pride is more than a colorful celebration for Austin Subaru. It is an opportunity to put our values into action and stand alongside our LGBTQIA+ friends, family members, colleagues, customers, and neighbors. From our custom Pride Outback to the stickers shared along the parade route, we were proud to bring a little extra Subaru love to a day centered around exactly that—love.
