Imagining Brighter Futures with Thinkery

This September, Austin Subaru was proud to support Thinkery’s Imagine That gala as the event’s Valet Sponsor, helping make possible an evening dedicated to expanding joyful learning opportunities for children and families across Central Texas.

As Austin’s only children’s museum, Thinkery creates playful, hands-on STEAM learning experiences designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and encourage a lifelong love of learning. For more than 40 years, the nonprofit has served children, families, educators, and caregivers throughout Central Texas through its museums, educational programs, community partnerships, and STEAM Learning Institute.

Imagine That brought supporters together for a playful evening inspired by Thinkery’s mission. Guests were invited to rediscover their own sense of curiosity through interactive experiences including a Glitter Bar, light painting, sensory activities, a silent auction, and a Golden Ticket raffle—all while raising critical funds to help more children and families access Thinkery’s learning experiences.

Austin Subaru contributed a $15,000 sponsorship to support the event, joining fellow sponsors, supporters, and guests in helping Thinkery raise more than $475,000 through Imagine That. Funds raised will help expand access to joyful, play-based learning experiences and support Thinkery’s work to create an enduring resource for generations of Central Texas children and families.

Supporting Thinkery reflects Austin Subaru’s belief that learning should inspire curiosity, creativity, and possibility. We are proud to invest in an organization that gives children opportunities to explore the world around them, discover new interests, and build skills that can stay with them throughout their lives.
